First up, a month ago saboteurs blew up a pipeline carrying natural gas to Israel from Egypt. Well the line has been repaired but the gas isn't flowing. I'm sure this will end well.

Elderly Japanese men are volunteering to help clean up at Fukishima.

Hollywood Execs admitting they are pushing a liberal agenda. We all knew this to be true, but it's nice to hear it come from their mouths.

North Korea is voted the second greatest place to live by North Koreans. I hear it's lovely, especially this time of year. Videos, Videos, Videos.

Yes and no. They voted-down a clean increase, which means Obama has to make concessions if he wants the debt ceiling to be raised. That's a good thing. The Rs collectively sounded far more earnest on the subject of the debt crisis after meeting with Obama, and they need to continue to do that. Keep hammering him.

Yeah, it was more interesting in reopening the straits of Tiran and getting it's Iranian oil shipments.

The only reason it took so much land was because it gave it a bigger bargaining chip in the post war peace talks.

Dayan and Eshkol wanted nothing to do with the Old City in Jerusalem, Gaza or the Suez Canal.

The only reason they invaded the West Bank and the Old City was because Jordan attacked first and a handful of Israeli soldiers who fought in '48 were pissed they didn't take it then, so they forced the issue. People like Menagim Begin and Uzi Narkiss for example. Israel did everything to try to keep Jordan out of the war as they considered Jordan an nominal ally.

Wait a minute. Am I confused? I stopped watching Anthony Bordain (sp), because I saw one episode when he was in, I thought, Jordan. They were celebrating a successful bomb attack on Israel. He questioned whether or not to attend such festivities, for about 15 seconds. He got past this all, by proclaiming that he felt "uncomfortable", but went ahead and enjoyed food, drink, etc.
