Rapper's Delight, With MC Bret Baier
— Ace

At the Bob Hope Classic on Friday. Mediaite gives him props.

I don't know if he can really rap, but I'm impressed he knows all the words.

5 I will not be able to watch Special Report the same way.

Seriously, though, it wasn't as embarrassing as it potentially could have been, I'll give him that.

7 Proves that it doesn't take any talent to do rap. But Breit may as well do it because he sure as shit hasn't been worth a damn as a replacement for Brit Hume.

8 I'm looking forward to Rachel Maddow's version of "Danny Boy" .

this place is getting sloppy. no thread on the riots in Egypt yet? members of the ruling family leaving on planes with 97 bags of luggage? 2 civilians killed, and one policeman.

but, keep posting this drivel. excellent.   :\

13 but I'm impressed he knows all the words

He only had 30 years to learn them.

15 That's funny....I'm impressed.

It's just always funny how when white guys get up an rap, they're never on beat.....it's like we can't hear music or something.

16 He's not gonna win a freestyle battle with Eminem any time soon, but that was surprisingly decent.

23 That rap was big when I was living in PR. A bunch of ex-pats used to meet on Thursday evening for drinks and one of the women in our group worked at a Holiday Inn. It was played endlessly in all the bars and every time they got to "Everybody go hotel, motel Holiday Inn" we all felt the need to shout it out and guzzle what ever we happened to be drinking. We were a pretty easy group to entertain.

24 So there's riots and mayhem in Egypt and police find bomb-making materials in NY.  How does that affect me.

Posted by: Soona at January 25, 2011 12:03 PM (Azyzj)

25 That was so stiff my back hurts from watching it.

Posted by: Fritz at January 25, 2011 12:07 PM (GwPRU)

26 So, lets get to the actual reason that they're rioting in Egypt.......socialism FAIL, perhaps?

The only one that needs to read that story and understand whats going on there is OBAMA.........so he'll stop thinking it's great and ruining this country with it.

Man, that was painful watching Baier on that stage.

More entertaining, though, would be any little-known YouTube videos floating around of, say, Dan Rather at the National Press Club years ago doing his impression of Paul Robeson belting out "Ol' Man River", or Peter Jennings as lead singing Sly Stone's "Dance To The Music" (with backup by Diane Sawyer, Elizabeth Vargas and John Stossel) not to mention that rumored "lost" film clip showcasing Ted Koppel's electrifying rendition of Little Richard's "Tutti-Frutti".

35 It is painful to watch white people rap, but at least he's got the balls to try.

Why can't we get a Republican who plays electric guitar?
