— CAC Let us enjoy bacon and art one more time:
I would have thrown breasts up here too, but Ace would probably frown. There is a pile of tits arguing with him already in the thread below.

Rapture delayed! Honest!!
He says it's (5*10*17)^2 = 722500 days after 01APR0033.
Start with how many days in 400 years (because that's how long it takes for the calendar to repeat). 400*365+100 leap year days - 3 (leap year days skipped in years divisible by 100, but not 400) = 146097. The change in 1752 (or various other years, in other countries) was to account for those 3 days every 400 years, BTW.
Multiply by 5 to get 2000 years = 730485. So that's how many days after 01APR0033 to get to 01APR2033. The 22 years between 2033 and 2011 have leap year days in 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024, 2028, and 2032, so to roll back to 01APR2011 you need to subtract 22*365+6 = 8036. 730485 - 8036 = 722449.
We need 51 more days. April has 30 days, so 01MAY2011 is 722479 days after 01APR0033.
We still need 21 days after 01MAY2011, which brings us to...
22MAY2011!
Never leave the end of the world to an evangelist. Anyway, when the world doesn't end today, you're not off the hook! You heard it here first...

Heading back out to the porch to read and listen to the newly-fledged baby birds yell at their parents for food.

I'm going to be enjoying a steak and some wine to go along with some pretty good weather here in a bit.
I'm saving the bacon for my eggs in the morning.

My husband's lost 20 lbs. the last couple of months eating nothing but meat and salads. I've been doing pretty much the same thing, and the scale has only moved a few pounds.

Bacon was a part of last night's supper. We paired it with ground beef, cheese, and a slice of onion on a lightly toasted kaiser roll. 2 of those and you're definitely full.

There's a nice sea breeze and it's shady. The kittehs are crashed out, and one of them is snoring. I'm off to get back into my book.

Little hot out on the porch today isn't it?
A little muggy, but the sun just popped out after a cloudy early afternoon. I've got my patio door open.

but the other thing to consider is a plateau, have you recently stopped losing? is it possible you need to change something up?

Sounds like what I'm having. I'm mixing in a potato though, carbs be damned. Your husband lost weight in a similar way I did. Works every time its tried.

Bring on a good dose of nitrosamines.
PS -- Is the rapture done yet? Cuz someone has my paperwork screwed up. I'm suing. Anyone know a good lawyer in Heaven?
Never mind.

17 Well, if it does end today, I'm looking forwards to some very profitable looting. I figure some of the good people will leave so nice shit here
I'm nobody's Biblical scholar, but isn't there something in there about it being hard for a rich man to get into Heaven?
OK, there I go, throwing a wet blanket on the Rapture...

Actually, I think the guy said it would be 6pm local time everywhere (not sure where he gets that).
So, if he was right, it'd be going on in Europe already.
So obviously, I'm right (see #8, above), and we have to wait until tomorrow. Leave it to an evangelist to take the fun out of the End of the World!
