Re posts # 4 and 40----I knew some of my fellow morons would note the sexual symbolism in Pelosi's speech. She nattered on and on about the "unusual size" of the gavel she was going to give Boehner. She said that it was bigger than most gavels, but was not as big as the one she carried to the passage of the health care bill.

Frankly she was embarassing herself so much at that point that I thought it woud have been an act of "compassionate conservatism" for Boehner to yank the gavel out of her hands and slam her on the head with it, just to shut her up.
