— rdbrewer From The Blaze:
In a bombshell accusation, the government watchdog group Judicial Watch announced today that the Obama administration used taxpayer money to help orchestrate an internet search engine manipulation campaign specifically promoting Obamacare.Judicial Watch obtained 2,328 pages of records pursuant to a March 23, 2011, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit. The FOIA information included correspondence between the Department of Health and Human Services and the Ogilvy Group, the public relations fire hired by the White House to push Obamacare on the American people.
The information suggests $200 million was spent in total. More at the link and at Judicial Watch.

That really is the most frustrating and disgusting thing about this. They won't do anything because the govt is split and because the repubs think it hurt them during the clinton impeachment. But that was the right thing to do, but we have no people in congress who care about the right thing to do. When should I apply?
If you are already getting Social Security retirement or disability benefits or railroad retirement checks, you will be contacted a few months before you become eligible for Medicare and given the information you need. If you live in one of the 50 states or Washington, D.C., you will be enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B automatically. However, because you must pay a premium for Part B coverage, you have the option of turning it down.
NOTE: Residents of Puerto Rico or foreign countries will not receive Part B automatically. They must elect this benefit.
If you are not already getting retirement benefits, you should contact us about three months before your 65th birthday to sign up for Medicare. You can sign up for Medicare even if you do not plan to retire at age 65.
Once you are enrolled in Medicare, you will receive a red, white and blue Medicare card showing whether you have Part A, Part B or both.

A funny story about Obamacare propaganda...
Back when they were first starting to push Obamacare and Nancy Pelosi claimed the Tea Party was carrying swastikas, I found a hilarious poster on The People's Cube caalled "Organizing for National Socialist Healthcare", and a bunch of Nazis marching with Obamacare logos on their staffs.
So I printed it out on sticky paper and put it on the Democrat Party headquarters in Denver. Apparently, they just ignored it for about two weeks, then one morning on the radio I heard the Democrat Party headquarters was vandalized, windows broken, and "the criminal left a calling card"- my poster.
Of course, what really happened is that the Democrats hired some kid to smash their windows to get the police to find me, but the dumbass did it while a cop was driving by and the whole thing blew up in their stupid faces. Rush was even laughing about it.

For true seafood, Gaido's in Galveston is the absolute best. Hands down.

I honestly wonder if we will make it to 2012 with his executive orders now being vomited on us. It will take 2/3 of each house of Congress to overthrow his latest little gifts to America. The DREAM Act was voted down by around five votes in the Senate last year, and he just took the reins and stopped deportation. It could possibly to to SCOTUS, but his DOJ could torpedo that.
I think I read it correctly, this is not the DREAM Act, giving amnesty. Right? It just stops our federal agents from doing their job of deportation. A rapist can get lawyered up and skate to do it again (not that deportation with a porous border stops them...felons come back and rape and murder again). Dear God. And it tells productive LEGAL immigrants a big screw you, go to the back of the line, suckas.
Next up? Cap and Trade or other votes that got defeated? Increasing debt ceiling on his own? Slave reparations? Seizing private homes? Internment camps for morons? His civil army?
For the first time I am worried, and I don't scare easily. Unless the GOP is taking their sweet time to address this little FUBAR when they return with a plan to defeat this and make issue of it, I wonder WTH is going to happen. It is an election year:::time to pander Hispanics:::and to hell with us legal taxpayers.
New layer of hatred found today in black depthless hole. Tyranny. Must defeat.

I was down at Ft. Knox today for a meeting and while I was waiting I struck up a conversation with the NCOIC who was a black guy who had put in almost eight years and planned on making a career of it but was getting the hell out because of Obama.
He said it. He made no bones about it. It surprised me that he was so vocal about that because that's a huge no-no.
He had done two tours in Iraq, one in '05 / '06 and one in '09. During the first tour, they had free reign to defend themselves....and his unit won the Valorious Unit Award. (I checked it out. They did.)
In '09, he said they felt like sitting ducks because Obama changed the ROE so dramatically. They practically had to ask the hostile if it's OK if he shot back.
He said he didn't mind putting himself out there if he would be allowed to fight back

If they punish the players for college screwups, then why shouldn't coaches that screw up programs also be subjected to some form of suspension as well. Someone like the former USC coach who ran off to the NFL, and who bears some of the responsibility of the recent problems with that program. The coach gets off scot-free, and players who didn't play at that time are the ones punished. The NFL should be even handed in how it doles out the punishments. I know that coach didn't formally get any level of punishment, but what if Tressell wanted an NFL job?
On the other hand, I think the NFL will lose that lawsuit....

Thanks, CoolCzech. I know. I am just simply amazed at the level of hatred I feel, as I have never, ever felt this way. President Clinton was not my favorite prez, by far, but I never felt worried, as he is an American who seemed to care for our country (after himself, of course). This little tyrant, however, does not care. Evil thoughts.
I know I just need to recharge, as next week will be a whole new can of worms to digest and make me stronger to defeat him, his czars, and his filth out of the White House.

My name is Wylie (Coyote) and I'm a Nowzad dog. In 2011, I was fortunate enough to be rescued by soldiers from a forced dog fight in Kandahar City, Afghanistan. Nearly dead, I was taken to the Kandahar Army Base and given to an Australian Police Officer who nursed me back to health.
Because its against the rules to allow stray dogs to live inside the base, the best my carers could do is allow me to live with the soldiers who worked at the front gate. But because I was accessible, I was routinely targeted by locals and sustained numerous and horrific injuries. I soon became known as the cat with nine lives or the 'little survivor'.
In the 4 months I lived at the gate (Feb-May 2011), I had my ears cut off loosing sections of skin on my head, had my muzzle sliced open, had half my tail cut off, was stabbed in the chest, had my penis severed and then finally, thrown in front of a car before then having my back legs cut. I only survived through the efforts of a small group of people who would come to my rescue and perform the surgeries or first aid I needed.
As a dog living on the streets in Afghanistan, its hard. Really really hard. With a lack of food, extreme temperatures and being forced to fight or being injured just because you're a dog means we don't have a long life expectancy and, the life we do have is far from comprehension.
Unable to cope with all my injuries, I started to shut my eyes, not wanting to wake up anymore. I no longer wanted to be sutured without local anaesthetic. I was tired of always being hungry and from the constant fear of being hurt. This was not meant to be a dog's life.

No, I'm not surprised and I know their feelings about dogs. It's still hard to handle when I see the reality of it. Just hard to believe the capability and capacity of evil that can reside in the human race, however scumified I believe these people to be. It's one of those things you try not to think about because doing so is hard to grapple with.

Give them their due, though - they manage to +1 many boring dishes through massive applications of butter, garlic, and amazing sauces. The linked recipe is one I use for steaks, white fish, shellfish, and pretty much anything else that works well with butter, eggs, and some herbs. Filet Oscar will be my death row meal, if it ever comes to that: a good thick filet, topped with jumbo-lump crab and sauteed asparagus, topped again with Bearnaise. It's heaven on a plate. For a side, I recommend MOAR STEAK, PLEEZ.

Survive as a shade of your former self, or live out your days as you wish? It probably comes out to how many progeny you have. As of now, I have zero. If I had kids / grandkids, I have no doubt that dietary sacrifices would be on my list of things to do.
Also, vegans tend to be annoying and preachy...don't do that to yourself, or your progeny.
