The mad shitters now plan to invade "millionaires” homes in NYC

Wouldn’t that be just about ¾ of the “homes” in NYC and since most of them are upper floor condos one wonders how they are going to go about that exactly. Of course, from the pics we have seen so far logic does not appear how on their list of attributes. (note: they are limiting their scope to “just a few”).

Stuart Varney says that this “millionaire” thing is bad news for Obama because it will ties him to these crackpots.

Democrats Scramble for Votes on Jobs Bill, May Split Legislation Into Pieces

But that headline is put to bed later:

The details of such a plan are still being worked out, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing one aid as saying Democratic leaders may hold multiple votes on the plan in the coming weeks to underscore Republican opposition.

IOW the entire thing is nothing more than political Kabuki theater and they admit it.

3 Here's a good one for you Gabe:

Constitutional question of the day for Morons: Should police be allowed to search the contents of your cell phone incident to arrest?

This story comes from CA and involves a law the Dem legislature passed to prevent that, but Brown vetoed.

Keep in mind that police are already allowed to search a person’s body, car, and other incidentals, all without a warrant. The question become more pertinent because of the type of data that people store on their cell phones now. This is one that I can see both sides of. But……the rational for allowing police to search w/o a warrant is “safety of the officer” and potential weapons. To me a cell phone has zero impact on the safety of the officer and there for that rational falls apart.

So no search w/o a warrant.

For all you roundball Morons, labor problems cancel first two weeks of season.

But not to worry, the season now lasts essentially the entire year so two weeks will not be missed. Personally I gave up on basketball a long time ago.

Topeca Kansas will no longer prosecute Domestic Violence cases

Why is it that no city EVER says we are halting welfare payments or other social services. The first cuts always go to the things that taxes are supposed to support and they never cut socialism. Ah, I forgot, Topeca has more than 35K residents so the city government is made up of communists and socialists so never mind.

Half-ass bill to reduce power of the NLRB

I say half-ass because what is really needed is total elimination of this corrupt outfit. However, it stands zero chances of making past the Senate and Obama anyway so it is pure political symbolism.

We do need someone to mediate and oversee union elections and disputes, but is very evident that appointees from the WH do not work well here when communists owned by the labor unions are in power.

This is one of the reasons I can not stand neocon Krauthammer

Krauthammer: Perry should sever ties with Mormon-denouncing pastor

Krauthammer stressed that Perry is now connected with Jeffress, and said that the candidate now must publicly rebuke the reverend. “It isn’t quite enough to say he doesn’t agree,” Krauthammer said. “Like it or not, he’s associated with the Rev. Jeffress.”

What ties Krautstupid? He is not PerryÂ’s pastor. Perry doesnÂ’t pal around with him. And hell, they are not even in the same religious denomination. The only tie he has is a fictitious one that asshole Romney supporters in the media keep pushing. Does Romney need to break ties with Obama?  After all, they have more in common than Perry and this other asshole.

NRO explores the relationship between Romney and Cain

They seem to infer they may be working together, particularly since they have avoided attacking one another, Cain endorsed Romney in 2008, and they are both friendly to each other.

Well, I am inclined to discount most of that. Yes, they have avoided attacking each other, however Perry has also avoided attacking Cain. We have already discussed the reasons for that yesterday.

As for the 2008 endorsement, I would not make much of that. Hell, Jim DeMint endorsed Romney in 2008. Sadly, after Fred dropped out Romney looked like the most conservative one left (mostly because nobody actually looked at his record). But what that really illustrates is how abysmally poor the field was in 2008. Shit, people complain about how poor the field is this year, there is no comparison to 2008.

As for being friendly to each other, how much can you tell from that? Remember, these are politicians. Politicians seldom have friends. They have supporters and allies.

But in the end, does this article say Cain is a stalking horse for Romney? No, but there is sure a lot of innuendo. And we as the Moron hoard have not speculated as to why Cain is not attacking Romney.

Couple of new polls out today

The one being the most heavily touted by the MFM is the WP/Bloomberg poll. Of course, it is a liberal newspaper poll and therefore mostly worthless. The other is a Gallop poll which is somewhat better, but still Gallop is a left leaning Dem poll outfit (but better than any NP poll).

Also, F&F had some chick on talking about a new poll they had out wit the top three Republicans vs Obama. Gretchen and the chick BOTH discounted the poll they were touting because Perry came out beating Obama worse than both Romney and Cain.  God could it be more obvious after that?

23 I said over the weekend that the protestors had romantic visions of themselves as a replay of Chicago '68.  Well, here's from the story on the roundup in Boston:

The crowd of protesters, energized by the sudden appearance of the Boston and Transit police officers, chanted, ‘‘The people united will never be defeated,’’ “This is a peaceful protest,” and “the whole world is watching.’’

24 #9  Yesterday Meghan Kelly had on some guy who claimed that Perry had "orchestrated" the Jeffress incident.   He got almost 10 minutes,  and about half-way through he said he had no PROOF but because it brought the subject up and that evangelicals were disposed not to vote for Mormons, Perry simply had to have done it.

She kept right on with the interview,  like he was someone credible.  Also,  I got a very gay vibe from the guy which tells me it is more likely this was orchestrated by the gay left than by Perry.  (They are still made about Mormons and that California proposition.)

So,  Kelly is on my "ignore" list now.  If Fox wants to go full-bore for Romney that is their right,  but they can forget about the "fair and balanced" crap, because i am not buying it anymore.

28 So,  Kelly is on my "ignore" list now.

I haven't watched Megyn in a while because they assigned her a slot where I don't normally have the TV on at all but I have been seeing a lot of posts lately that she is shifting more and more to the left.

And Fox has been in Romney's back pocket since this campaign started. Last election they started with Rudy. When it became evident that Rudy had zero chance they switched to McCain. They stuck with McCain right up until about a week before the election then they started kissing Obama's ass HARD.

Anyone who thinks Fox is conservative is insane.

Election fraud layered with propaganda facilitation and a DHS that targets corruption critics.

There are also too many who are actually stupid and will believe their slanted stories.

I assume that although we have many comments about the gay left on here,  I am to keep quiet.

However,  there is NO doubt that the Mormons were particular targets of the California gay left for a while.  And if you want to say I am crazy,  well,  go right ahead.

I think it at least as likely that there is a gay conspiracy as there is that somehow Rick Perry orchestrated the introduction for his own nefarious purposes and Megyn's refusal to grill a guy who had NO PROOF seemed to be to be lacking in journalistic ethics.

61 On the Cain/Romney and general primary score I got to thinking about the differences between how the Republican Party runs the Primaries vs the Dems. Went back and looked at the Dem primaries in 2008.

One thing that stood out to me was that they also started with a very large field of candidates. But what was amazing was that after the Iowa caucuses almost everyone had dropped out but Hillary and Obama. Could there have been some pressure from the party to do that?

Also, if it had not been for the Party rules on "super-delegates" Hillary would have won.

So why is it that in our Primaries these fringe candidates hang around screwing things up until near the end?

69 In the general election, voters are going to be bombarded with a reality check that Romney just won't admit to himself, let alone to the world. He's done his renunciation from his familial polygamy by severing ties with his Mexican Colonia Dublin heritage which Mormon communism built under SLC hierarchy and the United Order. If the Romneys waited one more generation, the next would not personally own denying Blacks their Priesthood, a prerequisite to making their temple covenants that prepare them to become Mormon gods.

But Mitt Romney can't change his own life's timing. Prior to 1978, Mitt Romney chose to serve a Mormon mission proselytizing Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and every other President of the Mormon Church as THE Prophet Of God whose direct revelation condemned all people of African descent with the curse of Cain to eternal slavery in the service of white gods, blacks denied access to the highest degree of glory kingdom, and the eternal inability to procreate while white and obedient Mormons as gods populate the heavens with white spirits.

Spreading that under the guise of the Gospel of Jesus Christ aka Mormonism in all its historical accuracy, Mitt Romney was the ultimate white supremacist.
Even the KKK never went that far.

Mitt Romney is NOT going to win the presidency. Of ALL the potus candidates, Mitt Romney is the one who will get Obama re-elected. Fair or not, that's politics.

Well according to that poll they covered on F&F this morning all of the top three of the Republican candidates would beat him, with Perry beating him the worst.

But, as everyone knows, I really don't trust polls that much. Personally I think Cain is going to start sinking here soon and Perry will come back up.

It's good logic. The only thing that makes me think Cain has a better chance was the huge jump Cain got the days after Fat Mitt and Palin decided not to run. The socialist desire to emulate Europe is evident in these expansions of police power as that ancient 100 year old Constitution is so last century and desperately needs to be replaced with a more workable "Guilty until proven innocent!" basis for law enforcement.
With Feds writing hundreds of new regulations daily, every citizen/subject is already guilty of something, so why throw not the more irritating ones into the holding tank until we can figure out what to charge them with!
After all, if the nanny state is going to give to each according to his needs, then why shouldn't the nanny state be able to take what it needs from each (and it would be only little things like freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, etc. that need to reviewed by judicial panels composed of Harvard law professors).

The Republican Primaries are to plan Obama's removal from office. So don't tell me I'm in the wrong here, Vic. We need a candidate who will vanquish Obama in the general rather than feeding Obama's hoards.

I'm not making anything up. None of us likes the way it is. Yet in "wisdom" you choose denial rather than face facts. Rose colored glasses and tin foil hats. Worst case scenarios aren't figments of the imagination. You say it's no "favor" to address in advance what pitfalls exist. You think Obama's forces aren't already prepared to take Mitt down? It's Obama whose specialty is divide to conquer. Mitt is his pawn.

Remind me, Vic. Exactly why should a fiscal conservative support Mitt Romney for potus? Or a constitutional conservative, or a social conservative? What about Mitt inspires conservative confidence in this election, from office, leading the world? No. Mitt's not a good potus candidate to support, no matter how many times he runs, no matter how much money he spends propagandizing himself, no matter what he promises to get votes.

You're not doing yourself or the Republican Party any favor by personally blaming me for Mitt's ball of wax, or by denying the record.

It's actually a great job here. They make $100k+, they have ample overtime opportunities which consist of sitting in their squad cars at construction zones, and the crime rate is essentially zero. They get their kicks by rousting housewives and scaring kids, while doing nothing about the only significant problem in town; the maniacs who drive 50mph in 25mph zones. We have had pedestrians struck, but the police always find an excuse to defer action.

Miss Marple,

It's no secret that Megyn Kelly has some NY liberal roots. She herself has mentioned it....way back. She appears to trie to be fair...for the most part, moreso than Sheppard Smith, who doesn't hide it nearly as well.

Yesterday was not the first time that Megyn let a lie about Rick Perry go unchallenged on her show. .....The day after the FoxGoogle 'debate', she had a dozen people sitting in a tight group as a 'panel' to discuss their take on what had gone on. ....One young woman declared that Perry provided "free tuition for illegals"....and the other panelists nodded in horror at this, while Megyn grinned approvingly. Megyn even stood by while they discussed how unfair it is to "give free tuition to illegals".

Perry had explained before the FoxGoogle event how it was "Not free tuition".....so Megyn had to know that this was a lie. ....So thus far, Megyn's attempts to generally be fair to people obviously does not extend to Rick Perry.

Which is a shame....I have been a fan of hers for years.

The game is multidimensional chess.  If you don't think the MFM will bring up every minor detail about any topic that is negatively related to a Republican Presidential candidate, I think you are not being realistic.  At the same time, if you expect the MFM to actually report any but the barest minimum of negative news about Obamao/Holder/Biden/Durbin/Reid, I again think you are not being realistic.
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing in Romney's Mormon faith that would keep me from voting for him.  The problem is that there is a mountain of other critical issues (fiscal, mandates, abortion, etc.) that smell of "NE RINO business as usual" Republicanism that would make me swallow hard and hold my nose while I vote if he is my only alternative to Obamao.  Make no mistake, any R candidate is preferable to the Zero, but let us not cave in too early.

155 As it is, you just come across as reflexively homo-defensive. Maybe I didn't make myself clear: Mrs. Marple's point was this guy has no proof of any conspiracy on Perry's part and this was a dumb story to run. Mrs. Marple then says that because this guy had a "gay vibe" it could be a gay conspiracy to discredit . . . Perry? Romney? someone? and so she'll be ignoring Megyn from now on. My point in responding wasn't to say that there isn't a Gay Left (after all, I've written repeatedly here to criticize the Gay Left). My point is that suggesting that the Gay Left is hiding behind every lunatic on TV demonstrates a level of paranoia that qualifies for padded-room treatment.

160 Too many laws, too many police.....and a court system that is being overwhelmed in volume and crushed by expenses. The biggest expense is the court appointed defense attorney; the standard for 'if you cannot an attorney, one will be appointed for you' comes right out of Miranda.

House rep Dingel's wife was afforded a court paid attorney for both trial and appeal. Now, a House rep makes around $150k per year, yet she got her attorneys for free. You see this over and over. This type of stuff may be where Topeka finds itself up against a financial wall. New Orleans was cutting plea deals for murders that treated them like jaywalking offenses, their court system was too broke to go any further.

Then again, she got sent to the slammer for a couple of years so maybe she got what she paid for (weak defense).

Re:  the cult

How about this?  I flew with a mormon pilot in the Marines.  I guess the Marine Corps accepts cult-members as officers of Marines.  I have spent many many months visiting Utah.  I've skied the major slopes, hiked Timpanogas, flown my plane over ninety percent of the state.  Utah has to be the cleanest most pleasant state that I have spent significant time visiting...I'm retired military so I have lived in a few places and spent time in a lot more.   I have never seen so many flags out for major holidays...It is one of the reddest if not the reddest state in the union.  They voted for GW Bush in extremely high numbers... They are pro-family, pro-guns, pro-small government...They get the same newspapers, read the same books, get the same television shows, gee they have comcast, who knew?  Ultimately, they are Christians...Their church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints...The cult moniker is a lie in my opinion.  They are no more cultlike than Catholics.  How about the Babtists who speak in tongues?  Weird!  At this point, the MFM are going to run the cult garbage into the ground...I think that Americans will ultimately see through the smear campaign.

Distinguish well. Romney's Achilles Heel is his mission for Mormonism dated pre-1978. Where is the moral repugnance?  Against the Mormon Doctrine. Go figure. To require one who knows better to defend what is wrong is immoral. To use the cliche anti-Mormon as if by knowing history and a religion is to hate the members of a church is inaccurate.

I certainly don't "hate" Mormons though I find Mormonism repugnant.

The Mormon Church has ZERO TOLERANCE for dissent. You can exercise free speech, but you'll be exiled. A member who dares criticize the hierarchy or a doctrine is required to recant or be subject to their excommunication tribunal, branded for eternity as a son of perdition, hell's angel. But then, Vic, you knew that. Right?

Try that one on for size from the Oval Office. Mitt Romney as the Republican candidate for POTUS will mark the complete convolution of the Republican Party since it's founding. And he won't do Americans any favors domestically or in the "international community".

Politicians do not confine an attack to a doctrine. They make it personal. "Get in their faces." So know the truth of it. The propaganda battle is already set. If the Republican Party confines America's choice to support Romney on the GOP ticket against Obama, the worst will happen.

169 Missed that one, but nothing surprises me anymore. Especially concerning the EPA.

And speaking of holding gov officials accountable this will make you see red

One of the most egregious cases of abuse of power by a federal agency I have ever seen.  Note also the “swat type” raid on the plant for what amounts to a civil violation.

More details that will make you even madder

But perhaps there may be some justice

The question is, why is this guy the only one being held accountable? And look what the poor bastard at the company had to go through. And who ultimately pays? The tax payer of course.

Aha, more info

He pled guilty and is described as a “former special agent”. No sentencing yet.

But in the end, the ONLY thing that will stop this kind of shit is total elimination of the EPA. It is running amuck.

175 How many babtists drink?  How many catholics get divorced or god forbid, use contraceptives?  Mormons are people living in the modern world who like catholics and babtists make their own interpretations of church doctrine.  Digging up the most inane practicies of mormonism and holding it up as proof positive of their being out of touch with mainstream American practices and beliefs is a flawed concept...In point of fact, our pervasive pop-culture is atheist in nature and all Americans of faith are clinging to concepts that are foreign to popular culture.  All religions are experiencing an erosion of values and practices in this environment of 24/7 popular culture...

178 But……the rational for allowing police to search w/o a warrant is “safety of the officer” and potential weapons. To me a cell phone has zero impact on the safety of the officer and there for that rational falls apart.

Yep, that's what immediately sprung to mind when I read your link.

Police should need a warrant to search your cell phone (and computers).

Yada yada yada, kumbaya, we're all the same. Sure, I know the refrain.

Stick to the facts. The propaganda against Mitt is NOT fabricated from distortions, let alone whole cloth. The DNC wants Mitt to be their opposition. My points are Mitt's record. He with GHWBush made Mormonism's historical defense Romney's potus campaign launch. "I will not forsake the religion of my fathers." '08 @ TX A&M

Insisting on Mitt Romney as the (best) GOP potus candidate is your hill worth dying on, so wear that tinfoil hat into the battle you choose with pride. Pretty tacky, Republicans defending zero tolerance with tolerance. In a surreal fashion, this ecumenical protectionism parallels "white guilt".

I've been a proponent of "big tent" alliances in order to win elections. But when the "big tent" is built on convoluted logic, abandon all hope ye who enter.

Keeping it simple, base this '12 vote on LOGIC, not what makes you feel good or bad. Drop the personality cult as rationale, since charisma is not logic. As a conservative, Romney is not a logical choice.

You represent the mainstream Americans who don't vote on platform or logic, but on propaganda smorgasbord style.

But given the very real propaganda against Romney, it's Obama's forces that will win. And were Mitt victorious in this charade of musical chairs, America hasn't enough seagulls to save the nation and Dollar from another 4 years.
