As Scott Brown fights for re-election, tea party groups vow to sit this one out
In 2010, he was the tea party poster boy. In 2012, Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown may not get so much as a nod of acknowledgement from tea party groups.
As I said last year, he is toast this election.

Bachmann continues to campaign like a Democrat
Hey babe, Perry is no longer in the lead according to the MFM. Shouldn’t you be attacking Cain now. Perhaps you should send some of your staff to Godfather’s Pizza to see if they have a rock at the entrance to the corporate HQ or a pizza choice titled “Sambo’s Supreme”.
ThereÂ’s a reason you are falling faster than Bill Clintons pants and are now lower than the RentÂ’s Too High Guy.

Why does he get away with it?
President Obama should not have nominated him, and I urged that the Senate not confirm him. Beltway Republicans, however, rallied to HolderÂ’s defense, and Senate Republicans dutifully joined their Democratic counterparts in overwhelmingly approving his appointment.
One of the many arguments I made was based on HolderÂ’s record of providing misleading congressional testimony.
Because we put asshole RINOs like Graham on the Judicial committee and Republicans rarely fight a nomination. That needs to change.

Odd things on BBC radio early this morning:
Palin's resignation was commented on by some guy named Trainer (what it sounded like) from Comcast. Why would the BBC go to a Comcast guy for a comment? I didn't know they had political reporters.
Bob Dylan was nominated for the Nobel Literature Prize (he didn't win).
Welsh men's choral clubs are dwindling.

Hardly. Are there no Constitutional conservatives in the mold of Allen West up there? The TP could flex its muscles again and find someone, methinks.
And purity? Hell, I'd settle for consistency and predictability from those we elect to Congress. Is that too much to ask?

how you carry yourself (confident, weak, surly, friendly, open, egotistical)
who you hire
where you came from
where you are
what you want to do as President
what policies/plans/laws you've produced/promoted in the past
what your staff says
We watched Sarah Palin get a colonoscopy by the MFM while ignoring the obvious flaws in their candidate.
We know now it's up to us and only us to vet each and every one of you that's wants the power.

In exchange for a full-on socialist? A Jim DeMint-type simply can NOT win in the northeast.
I prefer a candidate with whom I agree 85% of the time over a candidate who believes everything I've accomplished I owe to the government.
Why that is lost on people, I'll never understand. You run the best candidate who can win. Expecting South Carolina conservative values out of a Massachusetts Republican is simply ignorant.
No candidate anywhere agrees with 100% of what I believe. None of them. It thus becomes a preference cascade.
How can anyone here possibly prefer Warren to Brown? What kind of spite does it require to sacrifice a 'most of the time' vote simply because it's not an 'all the time' vote?

He and the ME sisters voted for cloture on the Dodd-Frank bill allowing it to be voted on. The all three voted against it so they could get credit for a no vote. The vote for cloture was, in effect, the vote for the bill.

Of course it is but we must recognize that when we do, we only encourage such behavior.
Unless we refuse to vote for those who are only 50% conservative then that's the kind of candidates we'll keep getting.
It's a conundrum of vast import and no one but you can decide what's best.
I try to weigh the possibilities/probabilities and make my choice with what's at hand and NOT with what I wished for.
That's why the primaries are so important and we should make every effort to make them as fair, honest and without interference by those who don't have our best interests at heart.
First, let's start NOW to demand that Primaries NOT be open.
Second, let's demand that our candidates have debates that are NOT produced by the liberal media.
Third, demand that ALL official candidates be allowed IN those debates. To allow any group to decide who is to be allowed a voice is wrong and manipulates our choices. It also allows the other candidates to avoid answering the charges of the fringe candidates.
Let's hold the primaries whenever BUT make the party nominating convention be open to actual voting and not the passion play that they've become. Anointing the person with the most primary votes.
Make it like it used to be where the delegates can change the game if the Committees are screwing with the system.
Meanwhile, buy some nose clips cause I think we'll need them in
Nov '12.

Centrist Coalition, see also: The Third Way (Clinton & Tony Blair) rejects both laissez-faire and socialist approaches to economic governance, but chiefly stresses technological development, education, and competitive mechanisms to pursue economic ends according to the Democratic Leadership Council. One of its central aims is to protect the modern welfare state through reforms that maintain its economic integrity.
Central aim is the Welfare State, protected politically by publicly denying the socialist label even while reforming "economic integrity" through higher taxes/tariffs.

Thus, the minority Party can block ANY judicial appointment in committee by all of its members voting no. With a RINO like Lindsay Graham on the committee there is never a block. Meanwhile the Dems used that tactic with nearly all of Bush's appointments. That is where RINOs really kill us.
If we had true conservative leadership in the Senate and the House who make sure that these RINOs didn't get on the important committees that would help a lot.

I switched the program last night from Levin to hear Michael Savage's Washington journalist guest host's take on Palin's announcement. He said it was her smart decision given the bloody uphill battle of the '12 GOP Primary, and a good move, because any Republican President would do well installing Palin as Sec.of Energy since she KNOWS natural gas and oil better than most political "experts"--and that position would provide her with more executive experience for down the road, she being young.
I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. --Palin

Lots of socialist immigrants from Europe came over in the early twentieth century and settled there and outbred the Yankees, who were pretty progressive anyway. Machine politics, the core of Democrat governance, was born in New York and Boston among the immigrant populations. Organized crime was always tied closely to the Democrat party in these areas, an association that continues to this day.
The NE was also big into factories once upon a time, which meant lots of unions. Couple that with colleges (which have been churches for Marx since 1900) and you get a very liberal place.
There is also a tendency for more conservative residents of the North East to get frustrated and leave for other places.

If she doesn't like that she can drag her ugly ass back to Chicago. And just so you don't think I am coming down on her alone, that should apply to ALL first spouses.

The thing is though, he knows no one with a big enough megaphone will challenge him on it. Those who point it out are already voting against him. Those who are on the fence will never have the hypocrisy pointed out to them.
He has endless cover in the media.

If you listen, the booing (what little there was) was at the question. No one booed when he identified himself as a gay soldier. They were booing the question, not the questioner.

Hmm, the White House is claiming they weren't listed as senior staff, just that they were seated in the area of the plane that was for senior staff.
Eh, small fish either way, I guess.

Actually it was communist agitators from off campus who did the rock throwing at Kent State. So it was entirely possible that Ayers was in that group.

I will certainly be involved with any R who primaries Scott Brown from the right.
That being said, I'm fairly certain that Scott Brown, a 55%er, is the best you're going to do from Mass.
We did lose a rep and an electoral vote this time around, so that's positive. And we may get two of the entrenched reps thrown out, since there are groups pushing for a majority-minority district in MA. Probably something Hispanic, north of Boston.

So not only are they unclear about what they want but they are too stupid to be active when the the media that covers Wall Street all day long is around to see them.

Now that the unions have a biggerr representation than the actual filthy hippies, that ought to change. Expect to see uniforms and professionally-printed signs.

Heck, Romney will join hands with Obama singing the praises of a benevolent government mandated health care plan! You can be sure he will not point out any of the rampant corruption present in the Dear Leader's administration, just like Juan McSenile would do.

So they contact the police, cop to the burglary, and turn their victim in. The cops arrest the burglary victim and cut the kids loose.
Wow.

Yeah, that ought to change things quickly. The union goons will show the poor indebted college grads how it's done.
Reminds me of a line from McLintock when they're having the big fight at the clay slide: for this you don't need college.

President Obama is embracing the term “ObamaCare” on the campaign stump, attempting to turn the tables on critics who use it in a derogatory way.
“They call it ObamaCare?” the president told supporters at a St. Louis fundraiser Tuesday evening. “I do care! You should care, too.”
That's right...embrace it, you SCOAMF.

This.
Problem is no one will hear that. How these liberals can stand themselves is beyond me.
As an aside, my In-laws are pretty much all Marxists. In 2008, I was asked if I was going to vote with them. Meaning, On-The-Darkside. After removing my jaw from the floor, I politely refrained from telling my M-I-L what I really thought.
Do not waste your time trying to convince the Left of their constant hypocrisy; they will always come up with an argument you cannot prove.

Why do these inbred fucks wait until someone is dead before a protest? If they had a problem with Steve Jobs, why weren't they in front of Apple headquarters a year ago?
And if they have such a problem with U.S. Soldiers, why not hang around outside any VFW.
I guess it's likely due to the fact that at a funeral mourners will do just about anything they can to keep the occasion solemn, and will avoid a fight at all costs.
In another venue, these fuckers would get their asses kicked back to Deliverenceville.
