Even though the DOJ assholes have lost one case already they wish to double down on SC. This tie they will not have the shitty 9th circuit to help them. Jan Brewer on F&F talking about her meeting with Obama over this shit. She says Obama was “condescending” and that Obama said the borders were under control. IOW he is a liar in private as well as public.

DOJ have approved new SC 7th district. Dickhead Hartpoollian plans to sue anyway.
Grounds for suit? ClyburnÂ’s district is too black. I have some news for him, the courts want it that way. This new 7th district comes largely out of 1st and 5th anyway. What he wants to do is tie it up in court through the 2012 election. Hartpoolian is a real asshole and the only reason he gets anything is the press and the courts.
The only Democrats left in SC are the aged yellow dogs who are dying out and blacks. And blacks are weaning themselves off of the Democrat plantation in increasing numbers. Look at district 1, last election a black conservative Republican was elected. He will likely be reelected in massive numbers in 2012.

And thatÂ’s it for the news. F&F still beating the shit out of the Cain crap this morning. Must not be much out there today. How was trick or treat for the M&MÂ’s yesterday? I only had a total of 8 kids come by and 5 of them were in cars coming from outside the neighborhood. We talked about this yesterday. Family sizes are getting smaller and smaller, many with no children at all.
Posted by: Vic at November 01, 2011 03:04 AM (YdQQY)
But lo, Gretchen had to quote the stupid TX poll that says Cain is beating Perry in TX. LOL, she has the gall to say “the press is tearing down Perry’s campaign”. Who does she think she is? That poll is the worst of all the polls, it is a University/News poll.

The temps may bounce up and down in some of these months like this past July which was exceptionally hot, but the long term trend since I have been keeping track has been consistently down.
Posted by: Vic at November 01, 2011 03:11 AM (YdQQY)
I only had about 20 trick-or-treaters total, in groups of 2 or 3, with parents out in the street. When we moved in here 30 years ago I used to have 50-75 kids. Of course, part of this is that the neighborhood's children are grown and live elsewhere with families of their own.
What I notice is that children are no longer by themselves, but always have a parent following along. When I was a kid in the late 50's, we would wander all over neighborhoods all by ourselves and were just told to be home by 9 PM. I think it was a lot more fun then. Also, we always looked for the people who handed out home-made treats like caramel apples and popcorn balls, which of course now parents are instructed to throw away.

I would love to have one of those old caramel apples. I noticed that what the kids had in their bags was mostly the little miniature candy bars which is what I was giving out.

Wretchard has a great post on Israeli settlers' being forced to engage vigilantism against the pali animals.

Is there any creature more depraved than a Pali? Any decent, reasonable person is disgusted by them. Anyone who stands up for those rats is himself an enemy of civilization.
For all its ugliness, the world was a better place when men were less squeamish about dealing out harsh justice to such scum. If they were gone no one would miss them.
The Palis do offer one useful service, though. They are a reminder of what Islam looks like when it is strong enough to take on a real civilization. Once there are enough muz in the West, all our lands will be like Israel. Let's hope we have the stones, collectively, to do what we forbid the Israelis to do.

Saudi Arabia is the initiator and major sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islamofasist Jihad (including al-Qaeda sponsorship), having spawned their own version of a Sunni offshoot as means, Wahabbi doctrines of absolute intolerance for all things deemed infidel, first in order to usurp all of Islam conquered under Saudi control and globally "legitimized" by Britain/US, and then conquering the world as Caliphate. Any real sorcery is vested therein. Amnesty International publicizes timely updates per Saudi death sentence. Note well that the Western media took no notice from Sept. 20th except to acknowledge another Saudi execution of a convicted sorcerer making a Nov. 1 Drudge headline link after the fact.
Daily Mail UK, by Oliver Pickup
Last December, Saudi Arabia was one of a minority of states that voted against a UN general assembly resolution calling for the worldwide moratorium on executions.
44 people have been executed in Saudi Arabia this year
Alarming rise in killings since end of Ramadan
Seven killed since Sept 5, when executions restarted
140 prisoners facing the death penalty
The known total for 2011 is 17 more than for the whole of 2010.
"The moment man" was publicly beheaded in a Saudi Arabian car park for being a 'sorcerer' on September 20. Crouched on his knees and blindfolded, Abdul Hamid Bin Hussain Bin Moustafa al-Fakki was executed in a car park Medina, in the west of the country, as dozens looked. Abdul Hamid, Sudanese, had been arrested in 2005 after he was entrapped by the Mutawa'een (religious police). Hamid is believed to have been the 44th person executed in Saudi Arabia this year - and the 11th foreign national. He was asked to concoct a spell that would cause the officer's father to leave his second wife, then arrested and beaten, forced to admit to acts of sorcery. In a secret trial, where he was not allowed legal representation, he was sentenced to death by the General Court in Medina in March 2007. At the time of his arrest, English language Saudi daily The Saudi Gazette ran an article entitled Magic Maids which said that 'we must face up to the threats from some maids and servants and their satanic games of witchcraft and sorcery, their robbery, murder, entrapment of husbands, corruption of children and other countless stories of crime that have been highlighted by both experts and victims of these crimes'.
Lebanese TV host Ali Hussain Sibat, who was sentenced to death over making predictions of the future on his show, had also been scheduled to be beheaded, not reprieved.
Saudi Arabia 17 March 2010. “Sorcery” death sentence upheld: ‘Ali Hussain Sibat, who is 46 and has five children, was a presenter on a TV show on the Lebanese satellite TV station Sheherazade, where he gave advice and predictions about the future. He was arrested by the Mutawa’een (religious police) on charges of “sorcery” in May 2008 while he was in Saudi Arabia to perform a form of Muslim pilgrimage, the umra. Ali Hussain Sibatwas sentenced to death by a court in Madina on 9 November 2009 after secret court hearings where he had no legal representation or assistance. Amnesty International is concerned that the charge of “sorcery” and others arose solely from the peaceful exercise of his right to freedom of expression. March 10, a court in Madina upheld the death sentence. The judges in a statement said that he deserved to be sentenced to death because he had practised “sorcery” publicly for several years before millions of viewers and that his actions made him an infidel. The court said also that there would be no way to verify that his repentance, if he should repent, would be sincere and that imposing the death sentence would deter other people from engaging in “sorcery” at a time when, the court said, there is an increase in the number of “foreign magicians” entering Saudi Arabia.

I kinda thought it was over for Perry, but then I see the new Rasmussen poll that shows him beating Obama 46% to 42%, and I think maybe there's still a chance.
I think Perry is in it for the long run, and if he can get covered by the press in each of the individual states as he does his stump speeches, he may still surprise us. Aside from that looney speech yesterday, he's usually pretty good. I'm not sure how many voters have really seen his debate performances.

Same here. The "scandals" being run down about both strike me as ultimately trivial, particularly when compared to the stupendous pile of felonies the stuttering clusterfuck of a miserable failure has racked up.
Compare both Cain and Perry to the Repub opposition and the story is similar. The Newt strikes me as lazy (what has he done since quitting the House? Talk a lot, that's what), Romney is -- I'll be polite -- inconsistent in his stands, and the rest slide downhill from there.
I'm sure Ace will have some new accusations to heap on Cain today, but that's hardly a disqualifier in my book. Sad that he joins hands with Bullshitico, Tepid Air and the MFM on Hate-on-Cain-and-Perry routine.

It is very interesting here in SA. The neighborhood we rented in for a while would get vans full of kids from the "south side" who would pull up, drop the kids off in the neighborhood and then park in the playground parking lot.
Halloween was the one day of the year I really disliked living in Del Rio. Busloads of kids from across the border, bumper to bumper traffic with parents driving while the kids walked, kids with no costumes, ADULTS with no costumes and no kids with them, etc.
The vibe was just...off.
Last year was great here, but this year wasn't as good because it was Monday. Tons of people come into the neighborhood because it's big and has sidewalks. Our street is pretty quiet, though. My husband was disappointed that there weren't more kids. The kids had to do a lot of walking because so many houses didn't have their lights on.

If he had sat on the couch and lectured her on what a scam AGW was and how that bill of her's would destroy America I would have said OK, he's cool. Instead he supported that POS. Look att eh 8 Republicans who voted for that POS, DIABLOs all.
No Republican could support that bill and call themselves a Republican, much less a conservative.
And that isn't his only problem. He has been out there THIS year actively pandering to Hispanic groups talking up the latest version of amnesty, which he of course, denies is amnesty.
He also supported Dede Scruntacosa, and attacked the Ryan plan as "social engineering" when the Party was trying to get it through congress,
And on top of all of that since it has been so long since he was actually in office his record is outdated and all we have to go on his rhetoric, much like Cain. And with Newt we know that he can not be trusted past the front door of his house.
In short, he is worthless. I'll take crazy Bachmann over him, Gardacil and all.

We had very few T&Ters last night in my neck of the woods. We rarely get many because we're at the far end of a loop road and our driveway is longer than those of our neighbors; and also 'cuz, you know... New Hampshire. If you don't live in an actual city you don't get a ton of kids.
But this year was on the low side even for us. Usually I have at least one hour of the three allotted for Trick or Treating where I'm answering the door every few minutes, and usually to groups of four or five kids at a time. This year I only had about half an hour when I got any volume of kiddos; I spent the rest of my time watching "Halloween: H2O" on AMC and screaming at Jamie Lee Curtis to just bury her fireaxe "in Michael's head, fer Chrissake! KILL HIM!"
I blame the snow. I suspect parents were keeping their kids close to home in a tight circumference so they could get home earlier than usual and not be out in the cold too long.

I think this was an instance of not managing soundbytes well. Erin Matson, a vice president for the National Organization for Women, said the women in question should be given the benefit of the doubt.
"It is deeply insulting that this is being called political," Matson said. "Sexual harassment allegations are always about a woman who is simply trying to go to work."
I wonder if that's what Erin said about all the dirt on Bill Clinton or any other Democrat. And for that matter where was NOD (National Organization of Dykes) when Sarah Palin was being viciously attacked on a daily basis?
Still, for some the desire to oust Obama could trump most anything else.

Exactly. I was thinking of supporting Cain (before Perry got in) and have, in fact, voted for him before (US Senate primary in Georgia in 2004), but almost every time he opens his mouth (unless it's something scripted), he tells me he's not up to the job of beating Obama or governing afterwards if he lucked up and did win next fall.
