7 Sorry folks no news this morning. I still have invasion of in-laws. I will be fixing steak & eggs for MIL and wifey this morning.

She (MIL) has fed us the whole weekend so its my turn now.

Of course steak must be on grill.  Hello 'Nam Grunt, even though it is 47° out now I am lighting off the grill.

8 I want Perry to be the guy. I will have to accept his less than stellar immigration stance knowing that everyone else who talks about electrified fences and crocodiles for our moats is just leading me on and pandering.
Gingrich always sounds good too.

I can think of a few in this Administration that fit.  With Obama overseas, wonder how he'll find a way to vote "present" over there, something he seems to have found a creative new way to do here ... http://bit.ly/qVdDUt

Perry's my guy, too. His policies should be getting more attention, but then again, we've should've know more about the stuttering clusterfuck of a miserable failure that the idiot 52% managed to elect.

And Vic, I'd like like two eggs, scrambled, with bacon. And you can cook the bacon right alongside the steak if you want for the best of both delicious worlds.

I'll stop and get beer on my way in...

Beat me to it on that one.  This is a great example of the fungibility of critical commodities in the global market.
Soon, thanks to the Zero, we will be borrowing money from China to buy oil from China.  That is really the way out of a recession.  Full employment (redefined as 10%) must be right around the corner.
Indeed, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that Obama is a stuttering clusterf**k of a miserable failure, in other words, a true SCOAMF.

...still kicking ant hills, this SCOAMF never grew up. Thieving Lincoln, exactly the potus Obama FIRST feigned to reincarnate '08. Barry's confidence is gone, so his pack of wolves steal, readying to point fingers while cashing in on the booty. Watergate was nothing in comparison to each Obama affront against America. Occupy 99% shit: thieves "deserved" to cash in on something that was just sitting around.

The point remains, whatever happened is all recorded, and not being reported.

They replied yes we did in fact torture our troops. I don't think they believed that, they just wanted an out. But fuck that! I replied back: Ok, so if we tortured out troops, we have been doing so since the 50's. Why has there been no outcry? One of the idiots responded to the others: He's right. Pirates-
Yeah, I'm hoping I don't have to go at all, but if I do I will touch base with a few people to see if they want to join me.

Mike- If the City Council has been following local media or the MSM, they know nothing about the expense/crime/damage at other sites. Well, they probably do know the truth, but the media gives them plausible deniability when the whole thing blows up. If I do go, the potential expense will be one of my main points. Of course the Occupy worms will just keep promising to behave, to clean up, to obey the law, etc. until they set up camp, at which point all that stuff will go out the window and they'll revert to their natural state of shitbaggery.

The costs of extra police, food, sanitation, clean up, noise, etc. Plus, how many are really locals that camp out in these obamavilles?

Just reading an article at PJ Media, linked by InstaP.:

Romney looks and sounds presidential and is by default going to be the last man standing after Cain-mania settles down. This is not exactly pleasing to the conservative base, but there is “hope and change” coming for conservatives on the 2012 ticket and his name is Governor Bob McDonnell of Virginia.

Hmm.

Sexual Assaults and crimes against the young are usually by a pathological criminal, which is very different from your run of the mill career criminal. And those crimes are usually high profile, so it is more akin to a Major Case squad.

A full time reporter based on her extensive experience in the news media and all of the years of hard work she put in to reach that position. I'm sure she fit right in with the non-biased approached to the news that NBC has always taken. If the definition of non-biased is left wing party propaganda machine.

134 When Jerry Sandusky was initially arraigned, as previously reported by Sara Ganim, prosecutors requested $500,000.00 bail and that Sandusky be required to wear a leg monitor. District Judge Leslie Dutchcot, however, ordered that Sandusky be freed on $100,000.00 unsecured bail. She ordered that Sandusky be freed and pay nothing unless he failed to show up for a court hearing.

Kinda unbelievable?

Posted by: nevergiveup at November 14, 2011 08:23 AM (i6RpT)

Not unbelieveable if this is the same judge who worked on his charity(?)/foundation. She should have recused herself.

Saw something 2 or 3 days ago about Sandusky having done recruiting for Penn State as recently as this past spring? Yeah, they're really ashamed of having had a pedophile on staff. Every single person on the Penn State payroll...coaching staff and admin who had anything to do with the football program should already be out looking for a job. But the little bastard weasel who walked in on him with one of the kids (and did nothing but run away) hasn't even lost his job yet...he's on admin. leave or something like that.

I think it's pretty telling that when Paterno went out and hired himself a high powered lawyer for this, he didn't get a civil attorney as if expecting lawsuits...he went and got himself a high powered criminal attorney. Methinks this is going to get much, much uglier than it already is before it's over and done with.

142 Well, since we've opened the subject of guys making trouble in a West Philadelphia neighborhood, I should mention that the street corner shooting on my block remains unsolved after seven weeks. So far as I can tell, neither Philly paper and none of the four TV news stations has ever published a word on the matter. Four shots in the back and one in the head doesn't make news.

The shrine of stuffed animals tied to the telephone pole stinks of mildew. The  circle of empty candle jars seems to have stopped growing. Someone came through and harvested the unopened 40s. The dead guy's girlfriend and her family moved away in the dead of night. There seems to be unanimous agreement as to who did it and why, but the no-snitch rule gives the cops little to work with.

The neighbors demand action, mainly by feeding hearsay to students on the block, with the expectation that they'll take it to the cops.

Two and a half more years. Head down. Mouth shut. Eyes averted.

The problem with this plan is the same as with all government programs aimed at cost control:  The more money you put into a system of supply and demand the more upward pressure on prices.  This is the trouble with education, medical care, and any other area where government expenditures take the place of private investment.
