3 I'm seeing reports (but still looking for source) that Mubarack is citing Obama's attempt to drive him out as a reason to stay. If so, this bumbling imbecile and his brilliant team are making a bad situation considerably worse.

6 Here's a partial cite from GatewayPundit:

Mubarak told the Egyptian people Thursday that,

“And we will prove that we are not servants to anyone and will not be dictated by anyone, and that no will take the decisions for us.”

You know that didnÂ’t go over well with Obama.

Stop bitching. Obama (pbuh) has done exactly what he said he would do. He stated on many occasions that he would change the world's opinion of the USA, and he has done it! We used to be feared and hated by our enemies, and now they sneer and laugh and act with impunity. But...that is CHANGE!

WASHINGTON – Showing deepening dismay, President Barack Obama is questioning whether Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's promised transfer of power has any credibility or meaning. As a defiant Mubarak stayed in office, Obama challenged the autocratic Egyptian government to explain its path toward democracy to its people and the world.

Without naming Mubarak directly, Obama issued a written statement on Thursday night in which he criticized the leader for a lack of clarity and direction. That assessment came after Mubarak surprised those protesting in Egypt's streets by saying, in a broadly watched speech, that he would shift powers to his vice president but remain in charge of the country.

I'd love Mubarak to come right out and tell Barry to go intercourse himself.

Yes, and it makes sense, based on the information in the article. Here is the relevant quotation:

If Ms. Giffords decides she’s game for a run and if her health permits, she would be virtually impossible to defeat, said Bruce Merrill, Arizona State University professor emeritus and longtime pollster.“If one assumes she’d be healthy enough to run, there’s nobody who could beat her,” said Mr. Merrill. “Now she’s got 100 percent name identification and 100 percent sympathy from the public. If she was well enough and she wanted the nomination, I don’t think there’s any question.”

28 So far it doesn't look that way -- maybe it's time for Americans to get rid of Democrats? (figuratively, of course)

These are either the most stupid and inept politicians ever, or the most corrupt and vile (be willing, obviously, to sell their own country down the river for their own advantage)...or the Dems are both.

And Gabby Giffords? If people will vote for her, then I put the American populace in with the Democrats: stupid, dishonorable, or both.  Has anyone checked the plumbing and/or the water treatment facilities' pipes for lead?  Maybe someone needs to.

I am now ashamed of a very large part of my country.

43 Just because Giffords could get the dem nomination doesn't mean she could win the senate seat in a state that hasn't elected a democrat senator since 1988. So, while the nomination is hers, why would the seat be a shoo in. I'd also like to suggest that I wouldn't be comfortable voting for someone with a major brain trauma (joe biden) so the "pollster" is full of shit. It's just the usual lib spin. But then again Obama won the presidency because enough tools thought that this non-american half black would somehow free them from non-existant racism.

Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has said the workers deserve bonuses even though the company lost money because of work they did in revamping or redesigning 16 models since the 2009 bankruptcy.

At GM, hourly workers are expected to get around $3,200 each, about 5 percent of their base pay, while they'll get $750 at Chrysler, about 1.2 percent of their base pay.

She will be lucky to be walking in a year, much less running a campaign.

The article leads in with "shoo-in" and "her's for the asking" then buries "yeah as long as she is healthy" at the end of the article and cops out by giving it as a quote.

Makes you wonder if it isn't a plot.  The public schools no longer teach trade skills (shop etc.) that are useful in making things work, but they focus on college prep work when there is a dearth of "intellectual elite" jobs; no matter that many of the students are not destined for intellectual greatness, college costs that require loans to get a degree are the norm, and then they tattoo the loan number on your forehead so you can't escape.

Hmmmm, Indentured Servants to the state (thanks for that federal student loan program Barry), sounds like a plan!

I get the feeling that this guy writing at the Corner doesn't think too highly of Romney's book edits. Can you find the clues?

The earlier version of No Apology included a dispassionate analysis of President Obama’s 2009 stimulus package. Seemingly more in sorrow than in anger, Hardback Romney predicted that the $814 billion measure “will accelerate the timing of the start of the recovery, but not as much as it could have.”

Paperback Romney is far less charitable. He calls the stimulus “a failure,” and denounces Obama’s “economic missteps.” He adds: “This is the first time government has declared war on free enterprise.”

In an inverse relationship with the cover of his book, Romney also morphs from soft to tough on health care.

...

In addition to the fresh and disturbing evidence that Romney remains a constant work in progress, one wonders how dumb he thinks Americans are.

Sorry if I make you all nauseated, but WSJ has an article today "The Capital's Unlikely Pals:  Obama and Senate's Dr. No."

The room was packed with dignitaries last week as President Obama addressed the annual National Prayer Breakfast.  But Mr. Obama singled out one person--Sen. Tom Coburn--as a particular friend and 'brother in Christ.'

'I keep praying that God will show him the light, and he will vote with me once in a while,' Mr. Obama told the crowd to laughter.  'It's going to happen, Tom!  A ray of light is going to beam down.'

Goes on to say that they became friends after both were elected to the Senate.

"Seated together at dinner during freshman orientation, their wives hit it off, and soon the senators did too.  They found common interests mainly transparency in government, and worked together on legislation to require competitive bidding for government contracts to rebuild the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina.

Aides say they knew their friendship was real when they saw Mr. Obama playfully running his hand through Mr. Coburns hair before a joint news conference in 2005, teasing him about his less-than-stylish cut.

...In recent months, Mr. Coburn has made clear, he is more willing to compromise.  He voted for the report of Mr. Obama's fiscal commission, which included tax increases.  And he began work with Senator Dick Durban and others to cut spending, building on the report."

I love how she thinks she can just throw her considerable weight around and bully people into giving up their right to free speech.  That's one thing about libtards.  Free speech is only for them.  Dissent is only patriotic for them.  The rest of us have to STFU.

86 Oprah hasn't connected the dots yet.  She denied Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father.

How long does it take?

I am now of the opinion that anyone who voted for Obama because his skin is black is the true racist!

Many believed that there would be an end to white man's guilt.  How'd that turn out?

88 Most people wear lace wigs because of alopecia or other hair thinning.? But some people love lace front wigs because it allows them to change textures, colors, and styles without damaging their natural hair. Most importantly because cheap lace wigs are not like other wigs, and they actually look like the hairs are growing out of the scalp.
