That FL healthcare ruling gets better everyday.
AK governor refuses to implement obamacare based on the ruling. Obama DOJ has gone to FL judge for “clarification”. Hahahaha

Small earthquakes in Arkansas due to gas well drilling activities?
You know, 25 or 30 years ago I would have given this serious consideration and though, um, its possible. But given the activities of this administration and the injection of politics in every agency in the gov that is supposed to be involved with science I don’t believe a word of it. Instead I’ll say this “How about the damn New Madrid earthquake you idiots.

The article mentioned 14% of Alaskans without healthcare insurance year round. Isn't that a low figure, given the state's record of citizens who are drug/alcohol abusers/addicts, and the indigenous native tribal populations living far outside of urban centers who might not boast traditional union job employment with healthcare benefits? The big oil companies would provide benefit packages, but what of independent fishermen, and "survivalists", etc.?

Yes, that's right. That did provide a rough fix, central clinic with general practitioner, for the tribes living on reservations pre-Casino independent wealth era. I don't recall that measure being the deluxe insurance policy which provides everything necessary to sustain life for a premium price.
I was wondering, if ObamaCare were to go into effect, just how long would any of the other pre-existing federal welfare/healthcare programs targeting "special classes" (the Indigent: Elderly, Native Tribes, etc.) stay as-is rather than be incorporated within the ObamaCare everyone-in-one-basket entity? I suppose DHS provides the template, as all pre-existing national (intelligence) entities remain intact, given the permeating DHS behemoth smothering efficiency while entrenching authoritarianism, proving the malignant mutation of the "promise" that bought public submission.

Youngstown is exhibit A in how unions can turn a productive town into an organized crime ridden shithole with no future. Maybe that dago cocksucker Russo should include that in some of his bullshit lectures.
Speaking of cocksuckers, Twitch Strickland has gone up to Madison as a payoff to the union humps that financed his four year disaster for Ohio where everything he touched turned to shit, I hope he stays the fuck away since whatever glorified crossroads north of Athens is probably happy to be rid of the worthless turd.

White House press secretary Jay Carney says the Recovery Act added several million jobs and lowered the unemployment rate. According to Carney, the "goals" of the stimulus package "have been met."
A reporter asked Carney why unemployment is at 9% and not 7%, the percentage projected if the stimulus worked. Carney dismissed the question. "We've said repeatedly that we don't want to relitigate the battles of the past," Carney told the reporter.
How brilliant. It worked because they said it did so don't try and bring facts into their little reality

I have already spent a few moments this morning trying to explain to some people how this latest bit from Wisconsin is really, in the long run, a great big union busting trap (but not one perpetrated by the R side of the house) and works very neatly into the hands of large, multinational conglomerates and statist politicos. In short, they are bringing down their own demise with this, as well as taking the rest of us with them -- but some people have a hard time connecting the dots. Oy; perhaps it would be better to just stfu, sit back, and enjoy the deluge.
I wonder how many teachers from this district called off today? And we are not in WI, nor does it look like they will have any troubles getting what they want any time soon...but being "a part of it" is sooo very tempting to some (who have obviously not emotionally matured past high school).Gah!

Barking moonbat ex-wife tells me yesterday (first notice) that son is having troubles in middle school and there's a conference with the school counselor at 10 AM today. She wants to withdraw him and homeschool.
Look up counselor on school's website: degree in Marketing from a HBC, taught middle school Social Studies for 5 years then went & got Masters in Counseling from another HBC. Now in 1st year as school counselor at new school. Has Malcom X quote re education on her webpage.
Should be an interesting morning.

...and these people aren't liberals. They may think they are, but they are not. What they are helping to accomplish in this country is the exact opposite of true liberalism. It's time we stopped allowing them to take and shit all over that fine term, which was the basis for our constitution and our country. Time to stop allowing them to use that fine term to cover themselves and as a feel good -- they don't deserve it. They deserve to be called what they really are: leftists, statists, fascists, and commies. If they protest, too bad; they need to know what they truly are -- even if it hurts their feelings.

Ah teamwork:
Senators Mary Landrieu and David Vitter of Louisiana are blocking confirmation of an Obama administration nominee in an effort to force a resumption of offshore oil drilling in the Gulf....
Vitter, a Republican, will oppose acting on Daniel Ashe to lead the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service until the government issues 15 deep-water exploration permits, he said in a statement yesterday. Vitter is using a Senate procedure that lets a single lawmaker block action on a nominee.
“I support Senator Vitter’s hold on the confirmation” of Ashe “until the Interior Department issues new deep-water permits,” Landrieu, a Democrat, said today. “Louisiana’s congressional delegation will continue to apply pressure on the administration to end what amounts to an ongoing moratorium on oil and gas drilling that is costing Louisiana thousands of jobs.”

I'm thinking of loading the wife and dog into the wagon and making the two-day drive over. Wife's old dad, who is in a nursing home here, owns a fully-furnished house only 80 minutes away, right near where all those cocksucker Wisconsin Ds are staying. We've a free place to stay, for however long this takes.

I sure wouldn't call counter-protest in Madison a strong strategy. If they really did bus in rent-a-punks, they're spoiling for a fight, and know how, more or less, to make it look like your fault. And if the police or NG throw themselves in between, that's Fascism! usually misspelled Facism!
A more, er, nuanced approach would be to send in well-disguised agents provocateur, stand well back, and watch the "activists" beat each other up. Oh, and then fire every teacher, individually so there can't be a class-action for the back pay, and dock those state senators, pro rata.
Didn't there used to be a couple of steps between "losing election" and "taking it to the street"? This was only fun'n'trendy the first few dozen times. Nobody takes street marches seriously as an expression of public opinion; they've been completely stage-managed since the late 60's. It's like goldfish-swallowing, or bobby socks. Where's the change?

"It was a peaceful demonstration for 'the children', until an organized group of right wing fanatics showed up and proceeded to incite violence with hateful rhetoric and threats(as they report next to someone holding a Hilter version of the Governor)
