Ohio Demoncrat calls a black TEA person "Buckwheat"... BLM snores
“I ran against Traficant buckwheat ... so take your personal shots, and shove them where the sun don’t shine.”

I've about had all the damn global warming I can take this year.
Bring me da spring!

We've spoken about this on various threads; the Tatler ties it up nicely
Flashback: Democrats go un-democratic when they lose, and then they lose some moreThe mess in Wisconsin has happened before. In 2003, faced with a new Republican majority intent on redrawing an electoral map that preserved power for Democrats that the voters no longer gave them, the Texas Democrats fled the state. And in 2009, rather than allow a vote on an election security bill that they didn’t want, the Texas Democrats brought the state legislature to a halt — killing the voter ID bill and everything on the calendar that followed it.

...Or, we can just give half the money we would have used to fund the UN directly to Lara Logan, and still come out ahead.

Yeah, BUT that was a short term victory, in the next election they kicked their asses and they have been silent ever since.
I think the WI house should start redistricting immediately. The fear of God? An elected official getting ready to lose his gerrymandered district.

The entire Hagan family, which includes former country commissioner Tim Hagan, a Kennedy wannabe who at one time appeared to have a functioning cortex until he lapsed into total commiecrat idiocy, was sired by one of the dumbest fucks who ever entered politics, Bob Hagan senior. Imagine Will Rogers only very very retarded. He thought of himself as some great wit but always ended up looking like an asshole; his letters to the editors that got printed looked as if they came from an insane asylum. That his dumbfuck kid lets out with a "buckwheat" slur and then acts like he didn't do a fucking thing wrong isn't surprising.

Yes, I am disappointed this needs to be explained at AoSHQ.
Here is a start. Roberts Rules rule parliamentary procedure.

They way I read it, without getting into bylaws, they have a quorum.

You are right, have a bloody Mary fuck the coffee.
The WI legislators are NOT fugitives in any way. Federal Marshall's can only apprehend FEDERAL fugitives.
Take two shots valu rite, come back in 10 minutes.
Trust me I was pre med, or was it pre law?

You read it incorrectly, see post 20.
A quorum is HALF the members. The organization, the WI Senate has a reliable register of members AND the constitution of the state sets out the EXACT number for a quorum.

19 In that case, why the fuck didn't the GOP vacate in advance of the Obamacare votes?
Dems would still have had a quorum.

When's did you last spend quality time in the raising of your bastard daughter; which you promised to do when the MFM found out about her?

Quaint notion, but it doesn't really apply in lawless defacto dictatorships ruled by czars though, right?

Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.

It takes a 2/3 majority for a rule change, BUT that is of the members present, so leaving does not help the minority.
I served in the legislator when we had a minority, trust me, I know every way in hell to stop shit that is legal.
The most fun? Motion to adjourn, it is non debatable and takes precedence over all other motions. Talk about fucking up the works, Nuclear!

This raises something of a nightmare scenario for the GOP, a convention fight in the politically most important city, in the nation's most politically important state, with the GOP's nomination hanging in the balance. The stakes could not be higher. In a wide open Republican primary with no obvious front runner, a few delegates could end up having a major impact on the race.

No other country in the entire UN delegation has to put up with this nonsense. The world actually thinks they have a say in whether Israelis can build homes.

Heather pointed out on another thread that the 3/5 quorum is only for fiscal matters.
They can proceed right now with non-fiscal matters and she proposed an airtight voter ID law.
I think it's brilliant. ID laws are very popular.

Youngstown should be Exhibit A in what happens to a thriving local economy when the unions gain sway. Unemployment with no hope of improvement, rampant organized crime and corruption out the ass; iow a democrat theme park.

This entire thing will go away in fewer than 3 months if only there were the will to do so.
These people are pirates, not substantively different than Blackbeard, Stede Bonnet, Bartholomew Roberts, the Barbary Pirates, etc.
Were I President...I would authorize a "black" operation, stationing a submarine or two off the Somali coats, with some SEALs on board...(there are only a handfull of ports that these characters sortie from, satellite and UAV surveillance should be fairly simple to organize....
Each night, some number of Somali pirates, along with their mother ships would simply cease to exist.....No claims of success or responsibility....just the hungry sea claiming a few more brave sailors....twas ever thus....
I suspect that only a very few months of attrition would make this a much less lucrative profession than we currently enable it to be. If we, as a nation, only had the eggs necessary to make such a thing happen....
