While a planet busting super laser would prove to be overkill for our needs, it sure would be nice to have one that could be dialed in to wipe out an entire country in one shot.  Especially if it could be a weapon without nasty radioactive byproducts.  I'd be commencing primary ignition daily until people started to straighten out and fly right.

10 Columbia students boo and hiss a Purple Heart Veteran and Columbia University freshman colleague in "debate" whether to ever allow ROTC on campus. It's supposedly about sex, whether DADT to the rape of enlisted females to the refusal to acknowledge transexuals within the military community. But somehow, the outrage stays stuck on stupid expressed via the "racist" slur.

It's the same scenario as before, spitting on Vietnam Vets as they returned home, name calling "baby killer" and eschewed by the general "academic" population.

Counting alumni votes, the only abstinence that Obama ever practices rests within his absent support for our troops. His silence is acting stupidly as he remains as ever against ROTC -- "our" self defeating potus -- refusing to at least make a statement supporting ROTC at his alma mater.

30 Why Wisconsin is so important.

When the war in Afghanistan started the very first thing that the US Military did was put our soldiers in the unsalable fortress of Afghanistan; the place where in the history of the world no foreign soldier had ever stood - not the British, not the Russians, nobody - we took that away from them and held it as long as we wanted.

Madison Wisconsin is one of the most leftist cities in the United States; there is a massive college population available to the left wing. If the democrats lose there - they are done and they know it.

In Madison, the Left has put up preferential treatment at all times for themselves and told the tax payers and constitutional rule of law to shut up.

Waiting for Democratic “bipartisan” participation supporting anything remotely conservative is an activity that occupies those staying stuck on stupid, standing on their own public pedestal of tolerance for vitriol, spitting with the wind in their face.

There is no collegiality from radical Leftist provocateurs that include the legislative saboteurs who refuse en masse to attend duties within their duly elected legislative session.

37 Btw, the “Hitler wiped out unions” argument doesnÂ’t hold validity under scrutiny.  Hitler revised union affiliation using union tactics to facilitate the reorganization. Now, regarding our contemporary current Madison events, and the teachersÂ’ rant that “Hitler destroyed Unions”, argue that he transformed trade unions in Germany into the ultimate German Union.  It all boils down to the socialist line, "There can only be one!" king of the mountain.

Hitler usurped all the unions’ affiliation from Russian Communist into his German National Socialist Party. True enough, he busted organized communism in Germany. It wasn’t that unions were “destroyed” — but the trade workers’ affiliation and LOYALTY was transferred from official Communist Russian affiliation (German civil revolution first half of the 20th Century between the World Wars) into official Fascist function maintained by nationalists for their "most perfect union". The Fascists promoted UNION loyalty to their own national GERMAN interests rather than loyalty to international Communism (Russia and Germany vying for Socialist world domination).

We should recall that this 21st century population of union leadership throughout America is functionally headed by President Obama whose first exploits in Chicago with Bill Ayers receiving Annenberg funding was the beginning of the American  public education systematically transformed to methodically propagandize socialism throughout the American population. Labor Law Attorney and UC Santa Clara Professor Stephen Diamond published thorough research (available online) as Obama won his state senate office and throughout the '08 Potus primary campaign, later rescinding availability and his own bibliographical references to these publications after the '08 general election.

Today we witness the propaganda/educational unions protesting their legitimate Governor and Legislature. The unions are attacking constitutional rule of law wherein we are all equal under the law. Unions are demanding to exist as more special than other people, truth made irrelevant via “convenient” ignorance that expresses its own bigotry.

God that's painful to read.  But that's the whole POINT of sanctions; to put a strain on a corrupt government.  The West can't bend under this.  Does anyone think Kim Jong Il would actually give food to the starving peasants who need it?  Of course not.  It would end up hidden away in a personal food fortress, for consumption by himself and his more elite supporters.

I really hope that someday the NoKos uncow themselves long enough to throw that regime out of power.  I don't know what they'd do with themselves after that, but if it doesn't happen soon they're all going to end up dead of starvation, exposure, and government abuse.

55 I visit a lot of pro-Michelle Obama blogs and they usually post things everyday or every other day.

Michelle is in Vail, and none of them have posted for a week.

I find that weird.  Either they were asked not to ost about it because it doesn't look good for MO, or they are in Vail with MO mapping out strategy to get her husband re-elected.

I think it is the later.

I have nothing to go on, but what are the chances that MO is in Vail to 'secretly meet' with bloggers, etc., to map out election strategies and implementation of the 'fake people' in online communities plan.

We already know BO has met with tech community to do the same thing.

We also know that the 'fake people' in online communities (which will be used to prop up the Pres.) is already being put to use (recently)

Can anyone find info on what exactly MO is doing in Vail?  Don't tell me she is skiing cuz she hates the cold.  She told us a million times in the last few years and you can see it in her face when she has to step outside into the DC winter.

Given Adm. Mullen and Present Obama, what could such adventurers really expect should worse come to worse? Do they expect the nation to rally behind the argument that it would have cost less for the Navy to provide an escort? No need to wonder why US tax payers be obligated to provide the excessive funds for foolish and self indulgent personal ventures of idiotic US citizens who place themselves, knowingly and purposely without merit, where Americans are not welcome and do not belong, namely Somalia, a place that our Military won't patrol.

Yet more whining about budget cuts from asshat Dem PR rag

House budget writers Tuesday are dealing with a $700 million gap that comes after federal bailout cash has dried up for the budget year that begins July 1.

That money mostly helped shield public schools, colleges and the stateÂ’s Medicaid programs from steep cuts during the past two years.

The above is a flat out lie.   The porkulous package did not contain education funds to assist with preventing “steep cuts” during the collapse of the economy. Anyone who actually read that porkulous bill that was passed would know that the education “stimulus” was targeted to hire teachers and principals at “under-funded minority” schools. IOW, make permanent jobs for Obama voters (and unions in blue States). This is why a number of governors opted out of these funds. That included Mark Sanford who was over-ridden by the State FDR legislators. Now we have a bunch of newly hired teachers and principals in those schools.  Will they be the ones fired?

Of course not.

81 O/T:  on this one I"m with Ruthie and Sonia, yeah I know it's congress' fault and Scalia has his hands tied by the law but it just doesn't seem like the right outcome:  "Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the court, said Congress set up a special vaccine court to handle such claims as a way to provide compensation to injured children without driving drug manufacturers from the vaccine market. The idea, he said, was to create a no-fault system that spares the drug companies the costs of defending against parents' lawsuits."

There are going to be more and more home schooled kids as, you can't put your kid in school if they aren't vaccinated.  Some people don't want to vaccinate their kids, this is going to cause all kinds of repercussions and stresses in our already stressed society.

82 82 If you have to have Miraacle Whip and love Oreo cookies stock up now.  Kraft is raising its prices.

Yeah, everything's going to go up.

We are waiting to see what taxes leave us for a down payment and then hoping to be able to buy a place with a yard big enough (and sunny enough) for a decent garden.  A lot of the folks here (LDS) have raised beds and sections of their yards cordoned off for gardens and there's a lot of expertise to tap, so I'm hopeful.  Most of the houses also have dedicated food storage rooms, another benefit of living in a predominantly LDS area, so we'll probably start doing the Costco thing once we get settled into our new place.

Since moving, I've been really watching spending on groceries and have actually been able to bring it down quite a bit.  (Food is a big thing to us, so this is an accomplishment.)  But because of that (changing where and how I shop), I haven't really "felt" the price increases yet.

83 From curious' link:

The vaccine court has paid out more than $1.9 billion to more than 2,500 people who claimed a connection between a vaccine and serious health problems.

An astonishing sum.

84 yeah I know it's congress' fault and Scalia has his hands tied by the law but it just doesn't seem like the right outcome

The problem isn't vaccines or Scalia. The problem is the damn ease of lawsuits and jackpot awards. Until congress fixes that this shit will never stop.

Since congress is run by lawyers it will never be fixed.

85 I have that Badger Sleep Balm.

What does that say about me?  I feel like a nasty badger today so don't poke the badger with a spoon.

Yep, especially considering the whole thing turned out to be a specious argument.

89 If Michelle Obama and the 'Obesity' Nazis had their way, that old lady whom the pizza delivery lady saved would be dead now. How many people must die for the sake of Moochells ego?
