3 Good thing anti-war protesters are headed to Madison, Wisconsin. It isn't like there are any wars going on.

4 So... does anyone care to explain... 1. What our mission in Libya is? 2. Why mass aerial bombardment will not result in large numbers of civilian dead that will "Create 10 Terrorists for Each Evil Enemy We Kill." 3. What happens if bombing is not enough, and we are already committed to No Ground Troops. 4. What type of government we seek for Libya? 5. Who exactly the anti-Ka-Daffy forces ARE? 6. Why our little metrosexual limp-dicked Liberal America Haters aren't in the streets protesting the "Rush to War?" Those are just a few of my questions this morning, when America finds itself in a Third Middle Eastern War just as our President flies off for Rio.

10 I can't shake the feeling that the ONLY reason America finds itself at war with Libya this morning is because the French thought it was a good idea. In other words, beyond Sarkozy hinting that Barry might get a shot a short excursion up Carla's Love Canal, Barry has NO CLUE why the Europens are so fired up about this and why America should be, too.

(Reuters) - Libya's government has begun distributing arms to more than one million people and will complete the operation within hours, the state news agency reported on Sunday.

Jana news agency quoted sources in Libya's defense ministry as saying they "expected the operation to end in the next hours to arm more than a million men and women."

What could go wrong?

20 Biden serves the valuable purpose of being a one-man bias test of any Sarah Palin critic.  No one who professes to have a good faith concern about Sarah Palin's intellect, but who does not also express at least as much concern about Biden's smarts, self identifies themselves as being a mere partisan seeking advantage.

Sort of like all those"No Blood for Oil" types whose silence this morning is deafening.

22 Unreal.  Here's is the WH spin:

“At every juncture where it was necessary for the president to engage in discussions with his national security team….we’ve carved out that time,” Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes told White House reporters during a conference call Saturday evening. “We’ve pushed back our schedule on multiple occasions today because the president wanted to make sure he had time be fully briefed up and pass his guidance on to the team.”

Politico covers for BO:

While the frenetic pace of calls, meetings and ceremonies clearly demonstrates Obama’s ability to multitask, the White House descriptions of the president’s day also intended to address questions that emerged just before the president’s departure — particularly, why he would take a less-than-urgent Latin America tour amidst a bloody government crackdown in Libya and a Japanese nuclear plant, crippled in a devastating earthquake, on the brink of a full-scale meltdown.
...

While ObamaÂ’s foreign travels may not have impeded his ability to act as commander in chief, the timing of the Libyan strikes did put his Brazilian hosts in something of an awkward position.

However, the sequence of events that the White House laid out in painstaking detail makes clear that Obama was intimately engaged in directing the U.S. military campaign from Brazilian soil
— making his hosts unwitting participants in the international use of force against Qadhafi.

.........
Politico hates Palin:

23 Good morning! After much thought, I believe Dear Leader had to go to Rio to avoid Moochelle either beating him and busting his lip again, or sitting on him until he cried "Wooky." It was spring break, peoples. No matter what is going on in the world, spring break plans must be met (remember, she left early for Hawaii at Christmas break, causing the tax paying legal citizens to pay up extra bazillions). The nerve of Japan melting down and the French causing another war! How dear they! The timing was not good for Moochelle. Dear Leader, diminishing in size where he can fit in her cardigan pocket, had no choice butt to follow her lead (he and Bo share the same choke collar).

29 The thing that I'm still trying to work out in my head is that President Jugear's justification for us smacking Fashion-Disaster-For-Life Ghadaffi pretty much all applied to Saddam Hussein (rape rooms, toddler political prisons, warehouses full of corpses, et. al.).  It was insufficient for him then, but now things have changed, because Obama's mouth has written checks that someone else's blood has to make good.

Announcing that the continued rule of that Froot Loop is unacceptable, then doing nothing about it, would make him look weak. He is weak, of course, but appearing weak is even more provocative.

Because having all these people scramble definitely makes the situation better and won't lead to any problems or mistakes...

38 It is reported that while in Rio, the president will tour a poor neighborhood facing Leme Beach, the scene of the Brazilian movie “Orfeu Negro” (“Black Orpheus”) that is described in Mr. Obama’s autobiography.

41 Gmac, thank you for that!  It succinctly expressed what I've been thinking ever since the possibility of us getting into this thing militarily came up.  How come Code Pink isn't on MBSNBC having a cow?

43 At a Friday fundraiser in Philadelphia, Vice President Joe Biden said that Republicans are employing a “blame the victim” strategy in addressing falling government revenue by cutting taxes and reducing spending.

So according to the Larry Fine of the hair plug set it's the government revenue that's the rape victim here? Because I know a lot of taxpayers with sore butts from dhimocrat spending.

Good ol' Ralph.  Dumber than a bag of hammers, but consistently dumber than a bag of hammers.

47 Why did the Commander-in-Chief "authorize" limited military operations to support a European coalition?

Should he be "commanding" them?

Is he trying distance himself from owning this action? To disown his responsibilities?

52 Oh we all all know that Barry picked slow Joe as insurance against any thought of impeachment or assassination ala "dont bother, look at what you'll get in my place" For me the attacks on Sarah as a VP candidate vs pretending Barry had any qualifying experience and Joe was not slow opened my eyes to the MBM. I am annoyed that I did not recognize that sooner and frustrated at how many people still don't see it.
