A couple of Senators try to block eco-tard commies from trying to ban lead in ammo
It seems that despite repeated evidence that there has been no problem with lead in ammunition demonstrated the eco-assholes have sued the EPA to get lead ammunition banned. The EPA has pulled the same useless and stupid argument that they did back in the Bush days with CO2; we don’t have the authority. How about the real argument you SOBs, there is no freaking evidence of a problem attributed to lead in ammunition! When they use the “authority” argument it simply means they want the court to order it because they know the down public will be outraged.
As for the Senators, I have another freakinÂ’ cluebat. Eco-tards suing EPA for some more GD regulation on lead is not the real issue. How about fixing the real problem which is it is far too damn easy for eco-tards to sue anybody for anything and do it without consequence. How about we level the playing field in these environmental civil suits.
But these Senators are lawyers so it will never freakin happen. Just one more reason for an Article V convention.

Interesting story in the Charleston paper about local and State politicians coming together to decry the union thuggary being done by the Obamanite assholes in the labor union board. I will not link to it, the point of the story is Dems and Repubs coming together to battle unions in SC. They only mention one Dem, the mayor of Charleston and the StateÂ’s most powerful Dem, 6th District congressman James Clyburn, is notably missing even though the damn Boeing factory is located in his district!. Of course the paper doesnÂ’t mention that, being a big Democommie booster. But that isnÂ’t the point of my post. It is this little gem included from a SC labor professor:
The state's animosity toward unions dates back at least to the aftermath of the Civil War, said Hoyt Wheeler, a retired professor of labor relations in Columbia and a labor arbitrator for 35 years.
I hope that is a misquote. This ranks up there with GolerÂ’s Great Pyramid statement. Yes, the nation of awash in unions at the end of the Civil War and SC got all those textile factories from the North because the unions had taken over the factories in the North in 1865.
As I recall what turned the South off to unions in the textile industry was in the 20s(?) when union bargainers came down and took a pile of money from workers and then skipped out and left. Union tactics since then havenÂ’t endeared themselves to Southerners either.

Scenes we like to see:
Norquist, in an interview with National Review Online this afternoon, called on Coburn to drop out of the “Gang of Six,” a bipartisan group of senators working on deficit reduction. “Coburn is negotiating with President Obama’s best friend in the Senate, Dick Durbin,” he said. “They are playing Coburn like a Stradivarius. Durbin is walking him down into an alley where he is going to get mugged.”
Take note Coburn. This is a fast damn way to get labeled as a RINO even when you have a good ACU rating. Crossing the aisle to "compromise" with commies on a tax hike is not holding to conservative principles. This is a major "fk you" to conservatives reminicent of John McCain exploits.Posted by: Vic at April 22, 2011 03:26 AM (M9Ie6)
They will say it is a "coincidence", but it is a long time tradition of the "American System" which took off at an exponential rate in the 1860s.
What it is is corruption and bribery at its highest but with congress policing itself and nobody ever holding a Democrat adm accountable it runs amuck.

NYT has a poll up which is very encouraging. 70% say country headed in wrong direction, 55% approve Ryan's plan, only 39% approve of Libya intervention, 13% increase in number of Americans who think economy is getting worse in ONE MONTH.
That last figure, I believe, is directly attributable to Trump. So whatever you think of him, he is definitely having an effect on Obama's numbers.

Yeah.. because Boehner did such a great job dealing directly with Obama?
You seem reluctant to realize we still have a Dem President and a Dem controlled Senate, Vic. Bravado, at this point - especially considering we don't even have the ability to shut down the government for this budget fight - seems a bit pointless. A compromise is the only way we will get a budget done for 2012. Unless you can lay out some other strategy.

Wow. that was pretty bad. Try #2... What's going on the Terry Jones and the Dearbornistan Judge having him go to a JURY TRIAL this morning to see if he needs to post a 100k bond to protest?
This should have everyone's attention and as this is such a breach of his 1st Amendment rights. I believe Ace touched on this yesterday but I don't think he mentioned the 100K bond or this Judge. A Judge for heaven sakes! Don't Judges take an oath to defend the constitution. Am I missing something here?

Mississippi Shows How You Handle Westboro Freaks (FoxNation)
A couple of days before, one of them (Westboro protestors) ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his arse waxed. Police were called and the beaten man could not give much of a description of who beat him. When they canvassed the station and spoke to the large crowd that had gathered around, no one seemed to remember anything about what had happened.
Makes me kinda proud to live in MS. Today. Oh, and RIP USMC Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers.

Answer: The price of gasoline for the next three weeks.
Funny you should say that.
Yesterday morning gas at our local station was $3.74.
About 10:00 AM it went up to $3.99. It did the same thing at all the other stations up Old Route 66, even miles away.
Then, suddenly around 2:30 that afternoon, it dropped to $3.89.
I'm used to big swings, but not in the space of hours.

President Obama arrived at his final fundraiser of the evening about 8:20 p.m. Thursday after traveling along the 405 Freeway, which had been shut down for the motorcade ride from Culver City to Brentwood.
The dinner was at Tavern, in a private room that held about 50 people. There was major celebrity wattage at the event: Calif. Gov. Jerry Brown and his wife; George Clooney; Steven Spielberg; Tom Hanks and wife, Rita Wilson; and Will Ferrell.
Obama was introduced by Jeffrey Katzenberg, DreamWorks Animation SKG's chief executive. Katzenberg noted that about three years ago, most “everyone in this room embarked on a great journey and adventure with you,” he said, directing his remarks to the president.
“I think we all would agree that nobody has ever inherited a set of challenges -- and nobody I think could possibly be better in tackling them. So we all feel very lucky to have you as our president for four more years,” Katzenberg said to the audience's applause.
“Four more years,” Obama said, taking the microphone. He added: “Technically it’s actually 5 1/2 more years,” which got a round of laughter.
“A lot of you got involved at a time when the prospect of electing Barack Hussein Obama to the Oval Office was slim. None of you asked for my birth certificate. It was complete leap of faith,” he said to more laughter.
Well, why don't we just redefine the calendar epoch to start with your accension to the predency, or if you prefer -- your birth, you pompus jackanape.
Also, how about you stop refering to yourself in the third person. Getting really weird, dude.

The unions will get their asses handed to them here and then it will go to the Supremes. By the time the case makes it to the upper appeals courts we will have Republicans in charge of everything except the courts and that communist union thug in charge of the labor board will no longer be around.

Police were called Thursday night after Koran-burning pastor Terry Jones accidentally discharged his firearm in the parking lot of a television station, where he had just conducted an interview, MyFoxDetroit.com reported.
"He claims it was fired by accident. The shot went into the floorboard of his car. No one was hurt. Police on scene."
Southfield Police confirmed the gun accidentally discharged. No charges were filed, and police gave the gun back to Jones before sending him on his way.

To a Dem compromise in Congress means Republicans do what we want or we call them racists.
To A Republican it means "thank you sir can I have another".
To a RINO it means "can I get away with one more cross-over".
To a real conservative it means surrender; and to quote a good movie "surrender is not in our creed".

35--West saying Obama was behaving like a third world dictator was also special. It's about time our side took the gloves off.
I loved that, too. Greta tried to make him apologize and put his remarks "into context" in the way that has become customary for cowardly Republicans of the Rove stripe. West would have none of it, politely but firmly insisting that he was speaking the truth. He's a good man, but most of the GOP is unworthy of him.

WASHINGTON -- Senate GOP leaders are backing Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana against his 2012 primary challenger, helping him raise significantly more campaign funds than state Treasurer Richard Mourdock this year.
The nearly $1 million that Lugar raised in the first three months of 2011 was six times what Mourdock has collected since announcing his campaign in late February with the backing of many county GOP leaders.
Lugar, who has been raising money since his easy 2006 re-election to a sixth term, ended March with about $3 million in the bank compared with Mourdock's $121,732.
Lugar got $34,000 from his GOP colleagues, including $5,000 from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and $10,000 from Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, who heads the campaign arm for Senate Republicans.
In addition, GOP leaders hosted a March 16 fundraiser for Lugar at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by the nonpartisan Sunlight Foundation.
The NRSC did not respond to a request for comment. But McConnell said in December that Lugar is one of the greatest senators in U.S. history and would have his backing in a primary challenge.

Huckabee, Trump, Romney Pace GOP Field for 2012
Trump leads among liberal and moderate Republicans
PRINCETON, NJ -- Donald Trump debuts in a first-place tie in Gallup's latest update of Republicans' preferences for the party's 2012 presidential nomination among potential contenders. Trump ties Mike Huckabee at 16%, with Mitt Romney close behind at 13%. Sarah Palin is the only other potential Republican candidate to earn double-digit support.
The April 15-20 Gallup poll finds Trump leading the field among moderate and liberal Republicans, with 21% supporting him. Huckabee is the leader among conservative Republicans. Huckabee's support and Trump's support differ between ideological groups, while Romney and Palin get similar support from both ideological wings of the party.
Among the lower-ranked candidates, Newt Gingrich's support and Michele Bachmann's support tilt decidedly conservative. Trump is the only potential candidate who shows notably stronger appeal to liberals and moderates than to conservatives within the GOP.
To stay competitive, Trump would need to maintain a decent level of support among conservatives, since they outnumber moderates and liberals by about 2 to 1 among rank-and-file Republicans and Republican leaners. For the same reason, Huckabee's smaller support among moderates and liberals is less of an issue if he maintains his top standing among conservatives.
So Huckabee is the great conservative hope.
Just dandy.

Morning, all!
So the NH Senate approved our Right to Work legislation (HB 474) this week, with amendments. Now it goes back to the NH house to agree to those amendments, at which point it would go to the governor. Our governor has vowed to veto it (he's a Dem), and overturning a veto would require a 2/3 majority vote in both the NH House and NH Senate. Provided the Repubs have no defectors, that shouldn't be terribly hard to obtain.
Naturally my lovely union, SEIU (*gag, spaz*) is throwing a freaking hissy fit/temper tantrum. They're planning a series of "HB 474 Actions" for tomorrow (Saturday) at various places in the state. I'd go just to laugh at the hysteria, but I honestly have better things to do with my time than listen to a bunch of union pantywaists whine about a bill that just says, "People don't have to join a union, and if they don't join a union they don't have to pay dues." Seriously, that's about the extent of it. Nowhere does the bill PROHIBIT unions from operating in the state. It doesn't abolish public sector unions like SEIU either, which I'm not too happy about. But if you listen to the union dumbasses moan and groan you'd think we were trying to tie people to looms in 19th century sweatshops all over again.
Here are SEIU's reasons for why RTW legislation is a bad idea for NH. Mind you, they call it "Right to Work (for Less)," because they're so smart:
> Do we want jobs with low wages? The average worker in states with “right to work” (for less) laws makes $5,538 a year less than workers in other states ($39,169, compared with $44,707). HB 474 would leave workers with less money to spend in local stores – which will hurt the economic recovery.
How much of that additional $5500 goes out of the unionized employee paycheck and into the Union's coffers? Because I'm thinking it's, um, ALL OF IT.
> Do we want jobs without health insurance? Families in “right to work” (for less) states are about 25% more likely to be uninsured. HB 474 would force many families to turn to state assistance programs and municipal welfare offices for help.
Being uninsured does not mean you are being victimized. Plenty of people choose not to buy health insurance because they don't think they need it. Their employer might choose to provide health insurance and take a portion of the employee's salary to pay toward it, or they might not. And the employee, in the absence of an employer-provided health insurance policy, may choose to use the money that would otherwise have been taken out of their paycheck to purchase their own plan, or they might not. Live with it.
Besides, since when did health insurance become mandatory for businesses to provide? Most larger businesses I know offer insurance as part of a benefits package to attract employees, but there are still plenty of employers who don't have benefits to offer because it's too expensive. One of my jobs a few years ago was like that. Basically the unions here are admitting to extorting businesses with union labor into providing health insurance regardless of how cost prohibitive it may be.
>Do we want unsafe workplaces? The rate of workplace deaths is 52.9% higher in states with “right to work” (for less) laws. Is this what we want for New Hampshire?
Gosh, there are over 50% more workplace deaths in non RTW(FL) states? Gee, that's a big difference! Oh wow!
Of course, they don't mention in what industries these deaths occur, which states they happen to be in, how many states are RTW(FL) states vs. not, nor what the workplace death rate is for each individual state, RTW(FL) or otherwise. In fact, I'd like to point out that they provide absolutely no references for any of their statistics whatsoever, which is convenient.
Here's the Declaration of Policy statement from the bill in question. Please note the bolded and highlighted statements:
273-D:2 Declaration of Public Policy. It is hereby declared to be the public policy of this state in order to maximize individual freedom of choice in the pursuit of employment and to encourage an employment climate conducive to economic growth, that all persons shall have, and shall be protected in the exercise of, the right freely, and without fear of penalty or reprise, to form, join, or assist labor organizations, or to refrain from any such activity.
In other words, "If you want to join a union, fine. If you don't, fine. Your employer can't stop you, nor can your employer force you, and nor can any other employee tell you what to do."
Unions seriously make me sick.

Yes, it is MooKow all over again. The NSRC will support another damn RINO in a primary. Keep in mind that the RNC is forbidden by rules in supporting either candidate in a contested primary, but not so the NSRC.
The NSRC is the Senate good old boys club and they get their money out of the campaign coffers of the individual Senators. We have to find some way of defunding the NSRC.
BTW, I don't think there is anyone who would not consider Lugar a RINO.

Mind you, there's a very good chance I'm going to get laid off due to federal budget cuts. I've already started job hunting (in the private sector, thank you very much!) to be proactive. I figure, if I DO get laid off, at least it means there really ARE cuts going on in Washington. It ain't much, but it's the least I can do to try and restore some fiscal sanity to this country.

RENO (Reuters) – President Barack Obama said on Thursday the U.S. attorney general was assembling a team to root out any fraud and manipulation in the oil markets that might be contributing to higher U.S. gasoline prices.
"The truth is, there's no silver bullet that can bring down gas prices right away," Obama said in prepared remarks for his opening statement at a townhall-style meeting in Nevada.
So then why put together the phony team to root out the problems? Aren't they supposed to get to the bottom of it and do something. Oh wait, what I am thinking. Barry just has to announce it to the MFM and they will run with it for him while gas goes to $6 a gallon

My hubby comes from a long line of always-vote-D-don't -trust-the-Rs-Union-men. Seriously, he used to walk out of the room when I claimed bias in the media (while watching the news.) He hated Bush the first year, grew to respect him the second year, and then began defending him. All the while hating every other R.
He hates politics because he figures they are all liars.
Then came watching me bawl my eyes out for three straight days after the election. I didn't do anything but cry. I knew how destructive O was going to be. I knew he wanted to take our freedoms and amass his power. My hubby couldn't understand this. At. All.
Then I started listening to talk radio in the car. I started talking back louder to the news. I started leaving great articles up on my laptop.
He no longer trusts the news (but won't admit it) and even argues with his union-card-liberal-IGNORANT-brother now.
Now that we have children (that was the KEY) he sees their life being stolen. He sees their freedoms being taken. He sees their potential being dampened.
He still won't talk politics with me, but I know he now agrees with me. Now, it is just a matter of him being wrong.
PS - He did help me put up Palin signs before the election and he did vote for her

That is nothing. For my 8th grade class photo, dad (used to drink beer and help the elderly in our area fix up their houses) got drunk and took me to JCPenny's hair salon. He gave them a picture of Farrah Fawcett (I didn't here him) and told them I wanted a hair cut just like hers (feathered bangs, etc.)
Only one small problem, I had long, loosed curled hair.
I walked out with huge feathered hair on both sides of my head, and these tight fucking curls because they layered the back/sides of my hair.

Pretty much by not talking politics with Mrs Hate. She watches those fuckheads on NBC and believes their bullshit so there's pretty much not a goddamn thing I can do. I'll occasionally request her to vote a certain way so as to not counteract my vote and she'll usually agree to it if I present it convincingly enough ie, not call her a brainwashed idiot lacking in critical thinking. For example, I believe I talked her into voting for Kasich over Twitch Strickland by pointing out what a complete failure the cocksucker from some glorified crossroad in Southeast Ohio had been and that the state would continue going down the shitter with another term for that dumbass. I think she's having second thoughts now because all her MFM buds have been slamming Kasich but I'll tell her to evaluate how the state is at the end of his term, which should be the sole criterion.
It was pretty funny a few years ago at my daughter's wedding. Usually I'm immersed in her moonbat friends where I pretty much kick all their asses rhetorically speaking while convincing none of the fuckheads to change their dumbshit ways. At my daughter's wedding my conservative cousins came and obliterated one of Mrs. H's fairly mild dumbfuck lib statement. I was pretty amused until I waded in and saved her when she was looking shellshocked. My cousins are used to dealing with dumbasses in Maryland and throwing their shit back in their faces,.

After Security Lapses at Newark Airport, TSA Official in Charge Promoted to HQ Post
Barbara Powell, who served as TSA’s security director at the New Jersey airport since July 2007, has been promoted to the post of “senior adviser in the Office of Human Capital,” TSA said in a statement this week.
Before she left the Newark post, Powell was reportedly the subject of a blistering internal critique that found “inconsistent leadership” under her watch and “a work environment that is often fueled by fear of reprisal and retaliation.”
... there had been five security breaches at EWR within 30 days. The included a case in which a dead dog did not undergo screening, a knife passed through security, and two individuals were allowed to go through screening despite problems with their full-body scans.
Following Powell’s resignation, the paper reported Wednesday that an analysis of security operations, conducted by her own team, found that under her leadership there had been “poor communication, inconsistent leadership, substandard hiring and promotions, lack of guidance and direction” that affected work performance.
The analysis described “a work environment that is often fueled by fear of reprisal and retaliation.”

I complete agree.
Sometimes I think the purpose of tenure at the college level is/was to sort of reward people for the amount of time they've invested attaining a "scholarly status" (as it were; I mean developing new thought, making discoveries, etc; something a school teacher or instructor doesn't do). Done properly that's a lot of years of being poor and really unable to get your life started, especially in the sciences where there's a long postdoc period. But I actually prefer the idea of 5-year contracts, pegged to performance.
Also, "academic freedom" is the most misused concept on the planet. Althouse was using it to defend the WI prof who was (quite clearly, imho) doing his political organizing using his state university computing resources.

Hard to say where it all comes from. She grew up on a farm in Iowa and her mother, who was a pretty common sense person in a lot of ways, had a reflexive hatred of Republicans (which I can at times get behind). Plus she took journalism in college which definitely doesn't encourage critical thinking although, to her credit, she always tried when working in that field to get to the underlying truth of the matter. The problem is, imo, that she attributes the same motives to others in the field which I don't think is warrented.
I love Maryland in a lot of ways but I could never go back to live there.

While growing up I liked how plugged in people were to national politics, although I suppose that could be irritating these days. Moving to other parts of the country was somewhat jarring in that regard. I still don't get local politics.
And I miss access to the museums and monuments in D.C.

The Liveleak video does not give location, which I find strange. I searched web and can not find location of McDonalds. You have any luck?

That's the headline it's under on the HipHop site. At least most of the comments note how outrageous it is.

Found it. Hannity radio show say it happen in Texas between Dallas and Lubbock don't have an account at his site, if you do maybe there are more details.
This won't go well for the Black muggers. Texas will have their asses in jail before the sun goes down.
God willing.

Just so everyone knows, The white girl getting beat, isn't exactly a Girl, she's a transsexual who went into the womans restroom, and when asked to leave got smart with the two other girls, which well you see what happened.

They are still in court. Prosecution is arguing that he shouldn't be allowed to protest because there could be violence. To me, that's not a valid argument, since there could potentially be violence at any protest. Also, they seem to be saying that if Jones holds protests, it could cause the koranimals to go apeshit in crapistan, and people will die.
[rolls eyes]
The liberal media is in full force here. I don't doubt that Jones will not be allowed to protest, will protest any ways, and will go to jail. If that happens, I hope he sues Dearborn for everything they are worth.

I think BS. if this was a Tranny getting beat for using a bathroom it would have been the lead on every nightly new cast.
At one point it does seem like the white girl is saying "Where should I go then?" and they are calling her a sick bitch. But why would they keep calling her a bitch and not say anything to the black guys present?

Rocks, I agree the tranny shit is just that random stupid. No one else but Hannity has any information on location, so his information might be BS too.
A bet, we'll know by this evening and McDonalds will be interviewed as will the DOJ.

At 1:07 they return to beat her and that is when the white girl loses the long brown wig and has shorter blond hair.
At 1:25 some guy clearly says "That's a man."
Through the rest of the video there is hair across the restaurant towards the door and that is from the black girl's weave.

Skinny yeah but not small. The black girls are clearly short but the white girl is at least 6-8 inches taller than them even hunched a bit. the black manager is taller than the black girls but he is still a good 4-6 inches shorter than the white girl.

The woman in the 'after ' picture looks like a woman who would get 52 plastic surgeries. She looks like some one who doesn't have what she wants.
The woman in the 'before' picture looks natural. But she also looks like some one who doesn't have what she wants.
The sweet, delicious, horrible, and hideous irony. God you tricky bastard.
