1. No, the poor are not getting poorer. They're also getting richer.

That's why you never leave valuable junk in the attic or piled in the basement without marking it "don't touch" or something. Sometimes those women get a wild hair and start cleaning house, throwing away your old comic books and stuff. It's pretty frustrating, but if you plan for it you can keep the damage to a minimum. Off-site storage can be an option.

Gutter-spawned vermin. If justice were properly administered in this country, things like this would be rare. Instead we have paintywaist judges handing down minimum sentences, followed up by shortened stays in prisons lasting just long enough for the crooks to learn more criminal skills and make contacts.
Scum like this needs to dance at the end of a rope or face a firing squad.
This is also the result of social policy that pays slum dwellers extra cash to breed like rats. The worst and lowest are having many babies per female, while those who work for a living and follow the law have to make major sacrifices to have more than 1.

Truman, if you are going to be "Vic for today" you can't use the term "crony capitalism". That is a BS term made up by the liberals. Crap that goes on with companies like Boeing and GE has nothing to do with "capitalism".
The original term for it beginning almost at the founding of the Republic (early 1800s) was the American System. Supposedly it is a form of the old British Mercantilism. Personally, I call it outright corruption and some people should be going to jail.

Hey, Vic, the reason I use crony capitalism is because people know what that means-- at least a good portion of people who study this stuff. If I were to call it the American System, people wouldn't know what that is, and may not even know enough to ask. If I called it corruption, that's kind of too vague.

Ah yes - the usual resort to the 'racism' angle. Classic.
Islam is a choice, just like any other religion. It is not a race. People who choose it are my enemy, and whether you like it or not, they're your enemy too. Embrace them if you wish - but don't be surprised by the knife in your back. There is not one place on the ENTIRE EARTH where those people are not a menace after they reach about 5% of the population. There is no peace for any non-muslim in places where the muz make up a major portion of the citizenry, unless they're ruled by a dictator who is commited to civic order and is ruthless enough to enforce the peace. And those spots are rarer day by day. I'm not sure any even remain.

About 60 percent of those surveyed said “laws should strictly follow the teachings” of Islam’s holy book.
But is there a silver-lining?
Seventy-five percent of Egyptians surveyed had a favourable view of the Islamist group, though only 17 percent said the Brotherhood should lead the next government, the survey found. It said the margin of error for the poll is four percentage points.
Sure, there is a lining: The Egyptians may not vote for the MB guy with unkempt hair and smelling as if he hadn't washed six months screaming "Death to Israel, put the burka on all women, and stone homosexuals!" but they will vote for the Imam with no "obvious" MB connections screaming "Death to Israel, put the burka on all women, and stone homosexuals!"

Disgusting. Just disgusting. And this paragraph from the article makes it even more ridiculous.
In recent months, Wanda Sterling said, she noticed that [her son] seemed increasingly under pressure to make money and support his children. On a Facebook page under his name, Sterling repeatedly writes about wanting to make money. But his mother said he was so inexperienced making money that when he received his first paycheck from a job last summer, he didn't know how to cash it.
First off, he was apparently "man" enough to father two children with a younger "woman," so he's damn well man enough to get a fucking job and support them. Secondly, he's 18, a father of two, and he only got his first paycheck LAST SUMMER? What was he doing with his time? Clearly he wasn't attending school, since he dropped out at 18 with only enough credits to qualify as a freshman instead of a senior. And if he WAS in school, but just too stupid to pass, then again I have to wonder what the hell is wrong with girls today that they'd be willing to let an idiot like that get close to them, let alone get them pregnant. TWICE.
The only good thing I can say about this pathetic low life is that at least his mother helped turn him in instead of giving him shelter and protection. She clearly didn't do him any favors when it came to raising him, and he obviously didn't have a decent father figure around to bring him up right, but at least THIS she got right.

Yeah, he's hard to miss, but fiscal conservative only, and a muzzie apologist,
ta boot.
While he's done good work on the unions, would not want him for CIC - northeast liberal type republican.

I agree that statement was out of line and Un American. But of course you assume people know what he is talking about, when most of the idiots voting can't tell you who is Vice President, much less what "final solution" refers to.
I will say that mass murder is done openly and advocated by Muslims around the world, see Africa for the latest in mass murder by Muslims. Islam is a plague that must be reformed or eraticated.

I posted about the passport form on the "Happy Easter Implications and Circumstances" thread yesterday. The form is only proposed at the moment, but that doesn't mean it won't be approved for use in the near future. It's supposed to be for use when the party applying for a passport doesn't have a valid birth certificate. To which I and many other people have said, "Um, why the hell do you need to know about my mother's pre- or post-natal care in order to grant me a passport?" My assumption is their answer would be "So we can check the hospital records to find out when you were born, who your parents were, etc." To which, again, my response would be, "Then what poor schlub is going to be assigned the arduous duty of tracking down and verifying all the BS information I have to put on this form? Because unless that is someone's JOB, then this is just busy work on my end and filing on yours."
It's ridiculously invasive and unnecessary.
And as I said yesterday:
...I'd like to point out the obvious: an American without a birth certificate would, theoretically, have to go through all this malarkey in order to get a passport to travel somewhere as innocuous as Canada... but our Exalted Leader doesn't have to present a birth certificate to prove his bonafides to push the Big Red Button and start a nuclear holocaust.
Just saying.

I'm missing the part where you and I disagree.
You don't advocate mass murder the way that retard "reactionary" does.
You support a robust defense of our way of life, and the protection of our freedoms with force if necessary. Great. So do I, yet you called me a nazi apologist and defended the psycho.

second yellow proviso
Second yellow proviso pertains to this: "Castelano et al. v. Clinton et al."
First yellow proviso pertains to this: "Beginning April 1, 2011, the U.S. Department of State will require the full names of the applicantÂ’s parent(s) to be listed on all certified birth certificates to be considered as primary evidence of U.S. citizenship for all passport applicants, regardless of age. Certified birth certificates missing this information will not be acceptable as evidence of citizenship. This will not affect applications already in-process that have been submitted or accepted before the effective date."

That's what you get when you keep adding bureaucrats. They're constantly heaping on rules and regs to justify their jobs.
It's not like they do anything productive, in fact just the opposite, which is why they're perfect union stooges, and why the deficit grows like a time bomb.

Can anyone deny the simple, obvious truth of this? It is beyond dispute.
Who, then, believes for one moment that Islam can be 'reformed' or that anyone with any power has a real interest in doing so? The small hand full of people world-wide who seek to reform Islam are swiftly silenced, often through killing, by those holding the majority opinion of Islam. There will be no islamic reformation.
We have two choices. Choice 1 is endless war, and suffering constant infiltration and sabotage that worsens year by year. Worse yet - one day they'll get some followers smart enough to succeed. We've all been fearing it - and with good reason. We can't depend on their stupidity to save us. Choice 2 is to settle the matter once and for all by vigorously purging our land of the enemy, and eventually the world if possible.
Some people are content to live with a permanent war. They are willing to take the risks, and hope that the muslim victory happens in some future time. So be it. But I think that's a selfish and foolish abdication of responsibility. It's the same as the deficit problem - pushing off obligations onto the future, so we don't have to face the ugliness now.

How can you forget sending that Churchill bust back? If he just wanted to redecorate, he could have put it in the Smithsonian or sent it to the Bush library or over to the Hall of Statuary in the rotunda of the Capitol. Nope, he made a big public statement about it.
And let's not forget giving the Queen the iPod with his speeches, or giving Gordon Brown's children cheap toys and Brown those useless movie DVD's.
The press can make all sorts of excuses, but he wasn't invited and neither was Michelle. And I remember Nancy Reagan going as her husband's representative to both Charles and Diana's wedding and Sarah and Andrew's.
Obama got snubbed. And a Kate Middleton invited her butcher.
I am going to enjoy every minute of the wedding knowing that Michelle thought she was going to get to go. HAHAHAHA!

One of my friends insists that she was on the view and said that they weren't invited and that the view ladies were shocked and asked her if she did get invited would she go and she said yes. So my friend was saying that everyone thought it was an oversight which is why MO said she would go to let them know they could send the invitation with an explanation that it was an oversight and they would accept. But, I guess it wasn't an oversight. My friend is very annoyed over this, all the lib/dems are, they consider it a deliberate snub to "the most powerful man on the planet"

hahha well the internet is an interesting place. You can keep in touch with all your friends in so many ways so it would be a lot of people. I'm a very inclusive type of person. The paper of record has been punked by the paper of parody.
The New York Times' April 17 mini-retrospective on the "original teen-girl tabloid," Tiger Beat, included a sampling of the magazine's covers throughout the years. But as the Times learned the hard way, one of those things was not like the others.
The cover in question, seen at right, pairs teen pop trio the Jonas Brothers alongside President Obama proclaiming: "I Sing in the Shower." The problem is, no such issue of Tiger Beat actually exists, which prompted the Times to issue a rather embarrassing erratum in this past Sunday's paper.
"A series of pictures last Sunday of covers of the magazine Tiger Beat, with an article about how the original teen-girl tabloid has remained virtually unchanged since its inception in 1965, erroneously included a parody cover, produced by the satiric newspaper The Onion, that featured a picture of President Obama," the correction reads.
At this point the Onion is more reliable for news than the NY Slimes
