CNN had Obama at Buckingham Palace. He had his hand over his heart during the national anthem, which CNN curiously pointed out. Apparently he knows when it's politically disadvantageous to not do 'such nonsense' now. Patriotism and religion can be useful I guess. Asshole.

It still horrifies me to think of that gaffe.  If at that point there was anyone left who didn't think Obie was a total narcissist, that incident should have disabused them of the idea.  Even Hitler was not so proud of himself.  Mussolini was not known to go around visiting foreign heads of state and gifting them phonograph recordings of his harangues.

I hate this administration and all who serve it with a hot, hot hate.  May each die in a fire.

TRIPOLI, Libya – NATO launched its most intense bombardment yet against Moammar Gadhafi's stronghold of Tripoli Tuesday, while a senior U.S. diplomat said President Barack Obama has invited the Libyan rebels' National Transitional Council to open an office in Washington but stopped short of formal recognition.

Does Barry even know or care who is behind the Libyan rebels? I'm not supporting Gadhafi but these rebels are hardly the Continental Congress.

JOPLIN, Mo (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Tuesday he will visit a devastated section of Missouri where 116 people were killed by a monster tornado, as rescue efforts resumed in the small city of Joplin.

Obama, making a statement from the U.S. ambassador's residence in London as he begins a state visit to Britain, said his message to those affected by storms in the U.S. Midwest is that the federal government stands by them. He was to visit Joplin on Sunday.

"All we can do is let them know that all of America cares deeply about them and that we are going to do absolutely everything we can to make sure that they recover," he said.

Oh that ought to fix everything and probably bring the dead back to life. Remember how George Bush created Hurricane Katrina and killed all of those people? Now look at how our non-biased media is giving Barry a total free pass for vacationing while all of this is happening.

51 Report on Michelle's outfit to visit the Queen,  during a day event.
Also present were the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince  William and  Catherine,  Duchess of Cambridge.

Dresses:

Queen Elizabeth in a watercolor print daytime dress in low heals and stockings.

Duchess of Cornwall in a cream linen suit with matching heels and stockings. (Also a hat because she and the Prince of Wales were the escort to Buckingham Palace and were outside.)

Catherine,  Duchess of Cambridge  in a tan tailored dress in linen, no jewelry, and wearing stockings

Michelle Obama, FLOTUS in a SHINY BLUE print cocktail dress,  wide skirt, belt (of course) with HOT PINK SHINY swing bolero jacket and squirt flower brooch, BARELEGGED,  in sling back high heels in GREEN

I know you all are so proud.

57 I can't speak for the demographic on this poll, but several things are apparent. Either seniors are easily scared by Democrats and haven't read that under the Ryan plan for age 55 and up Medicare will be left unchanged for that group. Or they are dumb, deaf and blind and just don't care about facts. Or lastly, they just want their ba-ba and don't care if future generations have Medicare- because by everyone's account it is going bankrupt.

Closing point; Democrats know it is going bankrupt. THey don't have a plan and would rather play seniors like a bunch a mentally challenged 8 year-olds for their votes.

58 Can we have a Sarah Palin thread every day for a week or so?  I think it's necessary.  I used to like her but the threads over the weekend convinced me she isn't going to be the candidate.  Heck, I knew this back on the day she resigned.  I was sad.

Repeat:  I was sad!  I wasn't pumping my fist.  I doubt any of her fans did.  Because we all knew she wasn't going to be president after that.  It's incredible how everything she does is proof that she's our one-true candidate.

I think a week of flaming would show how ridiculous Palin fans are.  I mean, more than they have the last couple days.

The pilots forgot to open the window, climb out, and use a toothbrush to clear the ice from the faulty airspeed indicators. Icing on the "pitot tubes" had caused 32 prior instances of faulty airspeed readings.

Dude modern airplanes are equipped with "Pitot Heat" to keep that from happening. All you have to do is switch it on. So yeah, pilot error.
