This is the kind of shit that makes my ass want to chew tobacco and spit

DEAUVILLE, France -- Leaders of the Group of Eight rich nations said Friday that international development banks could give more than $20 billion to Egypt and Tunisia to support countries that overthrew dictators this year and are trying to establish free democracies

So the G8 is going to “give” the Muslim Brotherhood $20B??????

President Barack Obama and other G-8 leaders meeting in France said in a final statement that their countries will also "mobilize substantial bilateral support to scale up this effort." The statement did not provide breakdowns of what aid specific G-8 countries would provide.

What that means is that since Europe is on the verge of collapse the U.S. will “give” them this money. Money we do not have. They couldn’t find a 100M to cut from the 2010 budget, where are they going to find $20B.

And BTW, there is no “give” in this shit. What that means is that the U.S. government will provide “loan guarantees” for commercial banks to loan them money at low interest rates. That is the way these IMF grants work. It only becomes “give” when they do “debt forgiveness” and the government has to pay those banks for the bad loans.

I only hope that the House finds a way to block this bull shit, but with Boner on his continuous thank you sir may I have another I donÂ’t have much confidence.

I am posting this link and headline not because it is an interesting story. I am posting it because it IS a story.  The libtard MFM manages to get in a story about Pelosi every damn day. I had hoped once we bounced her ugly botoxed face out of SOH we wouldnÂ’t continue to be deluged with her crap anymore.

But they do include a warning from Jim DeMint which they are glad to play up.  This is a warning that I have made myself here many times:

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), a member of the Tea Party Caucus, said itÂ’s likely a Tea Party presidential candidate would run in the 2012 general election if Republicans nominated a centrist to challenge President Obama.

The Washington Post continues to try to nominate our candidate

What is funny is the outright lies they print with it.

Former governor and ambassador Jon Huntsman is an articulate, attractive, cerebral, urbane internationalist. HeÂ’s a proven conservative with a reassuring, moderate tone and a model family. His vast experience in state and federal government, including service as a diplomat, clearly makes him qualified to be president.

A “proven conservative”.  You lying asshole he is a damn DIABLO so you can kiss our ass.

37 OT:

A couple of days back I posted a shameless bleg to the Moron Nation to support me on a 50 mile bikeathon I'm doing this Sunday for the Hole In The Wall Gang camp in Ashford Ct (we're cycling the length of CT from north to south).  In case you forgot, the camp is proof that even a dumbass liberal twat like Paul Newman occasionally gets it right - over the last dozen years they've given the camp experience to over 140,000 children with life threatening illnesses.

I thought I'd reach back and thank y'all for your generosity.   Thanks in large part to the M&M's , I raised almost $2,500 for the camp.   Since this year's money goes entirely for their hospital outreach program (which was one of the highlights for my son when he was going through chemo), it's particularly gratifying.

Also, if you manage to rouse yourself from your over-indulgence in roast hobo, Valu-Rite and Ewok PrOn (that means you, Ace) and you still want to contribute, here's the link.

62 I denounce this fear-mongering.

Projected long-run program costs for both Medicare and Social Security are not sustainable under currently scheduled financing, and will require legislative corrections if disruptive consequences for beneficiaries and taxpayers are to be avoided.

The financial challenges facing Social Security and Medicare should be addressed soon. If action is taken sooner rather than later, more options and more time will be available to phase in changes so that those affected can adequately prepare.

79 Raw, green onion stalks instead of zucchini slices were what Chartwells, the D.C. school's food provider, delivered as part of Michelle Obama's federal initiative to enforce healthy snack food for young children in public schools.

For little kids?! Smell, taste and texture aside, these green onion stalks are notorious carriers of germs from the fields and handling, even after being washed in water.

After washing, we soak the trimmed/sliced stems' finally in vinegar; then usually into the hot pan for stir fry or into boiling broth for soup, though green onions are great in vinaigrette salad or Texas Caviar. Maybe y'all have enjoyed that cold side dish with your BBQ.

Kids would like the black eyed peas; but if not plain and veggies are required, mix celery with sweet bell pepper rather than onion and jalapeño so the kids actually eat what they are served.

I'd think the only sure way to introduce onions to kids is with onion rings, only good when hot so a no go at class snack time. Besides, Michelle prohibits others to eat HER fried foods.

93 I'm really sick of the Romney bashing here.  The bashing is about as grounded in fact as Palin bashing by the libs, and to be honest, as grounded as the Palin is our savior loving is.

Romney had to govern, so he actually has a record.  You need a boogeyman to prove that you're a "real" conservative, and Romney is a convenient target.  Romneycare should be about 5% the formula by which he is judged.

Fortunately, 90% of GOP voters, and 95% of  all voters will weight Romneycare appropriately.  But bloggers, and full time commenters live in a kind of comic book political world wherein all the negatives need to be inflated.

Whatever.  Romney for me, but not for thee.  My #2 in T-Paw.

94 There is some part that seems to direct the defrosting cycle? The first time the defrosting leaked into the freezer and made a giant block of ice in the bottom, now it's leaking outside through the hardwood and into the basement (unfinished there so no ceiling that god). We've got it wrapped in plumber's putty and a pan under it but now the fridge is 3 feet from the wall. I don't know if it messed up the hardwood long term. I would get out the specs and order the part but that would probably take just as long to get.

I did a search to see if anyone had written about the Nazi-Muslim Brotherhood-Egypt-Syria-Baath Party stuff recently, due to the extreme relevance to what's going on.

I found an op-ed in Casper, Wyoming.

We have teams of so-called 'experts' who were proven wrong about 'Arab Spring' within a week of Mubarak going under arrest, but they've since doubled down on their supidity.  A few news articles about Islamist (just traditional, 7th C., Islam really) power growing have come out however.  I read one at the NYT on my phone app the other day.

One.   Weeks of being wrong and one article which proves it with no mention of all the other previous idiotic articles.

Tonight we're gonna party like it's 1939!

97 But Barney’s problem with this latest “bias and vitriol” is that it doesn’t come from the Herald. It comes from a New York Times reporter, Gretchen Morgenson — a Pulitzer Prize winner — in a new book, “Reckless Endangerment.”

Morgenson accused Barney of getting a job for his boyfriend on a show a couple of days ago on, of all places, National Public Radio.

Another bastion of anti-gay bias and vitriol.

First Lady's Office Holds ‘Listen Only’ and 'Invitation Only' Conference Calls for Reporters

On Tuesday, the office of First Lady Michelle Obama sponsored several conference calls featuring administration officials discussing Mrs. Obama's Â“LetÂ’s Move!” campaign to combat childhood obesity but “with listen-only lines for the media,” according to The Washington Daybook. On Wednesday, Mrs. Obama personally conducted a conference call for “online media” that was Â“by invitation only,” according to the Daybook.

The Washington Daybook is a service widely used by Washington, D.C., news organizations that provides detailed schedules and contact information for federal government events and federal officials at least a day ahead of time.

The Daybook sent out on the afternoon of Monday, Feb. 7, said that on the afternoon of Feb. 8 the office of First Lady Michelle Obama would be sponsoring a series of conference calls on the first anniversary of her "Let's Move" campaign that would feature U.S. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro and Flint, Mich., Mayor Dayne Walling. The Daybook listed as the contact for these conference calls the "First Lady's Press Office."

The Daybook distributed on the afternoon of Feb.8 listed another event for Feb. 9, also to mark the first anniversary of the "Let's Move" campaign, this time sponsored by First Lady Michelle Obama herself. The Daybook said of this event: "2:30 p.m.: Conference call with online media to discuss her message to parents and the new PSAs. By invitation only." The contact for this "invitation only" event was again listed as the "First Lady's Press Office."

I do think he needs to roll out his own Roadmap for Healthcare soon, something that dissects Masscare and Obamacare while also laying out his own detailed plan.  He's supposed to be smart and policy-centered.  He needs to prove it.  (And I say that as someone who is more than willing to vote for him, but expects him to disavow govt-run healthcare more firmly than he has to date.)

Yes. The NAZI leadership either fled or faced prosecution.

Consider well where all of the fascists "went" when the war was "won". Who were the French Resistance but the French Communists? "Good" German, Italian and Spanish Marxists were not exterminated. The "Good" British and French communists were not exterminated. The Socialist military defeat was a material one, but evidently did not destroy the psychological philosophy of authoritarianism since Europe is as socialist today as it was at the beginning of the 20th Century.  We realize that it isn't as if all of the Marxists of various banners were conquered by world wars. We can count how many leaders were prosecuted and convicted. But we cannot count how many leaders chose to relocate elsewhere, often into the Arab and Latin American regions. But certainly the remaining masses including all sorts of socialists were left to rebuild AT THE EXPENSE OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS. The populations simply applied behavioral science utilizing the politically correct mannerisms of deceit -- "good manners" facade -- in order to survive and succeed in public life. But it isn't as if group think has ever died. Indeed, it has spread. Take a look at America to see how we've embraced Europe and Asia, trying so hard to be liked, and have become the very authoritarian government that we fought our many massive 20th Century wars to defeat.

Our "nation building" efforts began with Wilson. WWI ended many months prior to the extended winter military campaign that was supposed to determine the outcome of the Russian Revolution in favor of Wilson's and Britain's own particular authoritarian global interest. PBS rebroadcasted the atrocious account of what Pres.Wilson did to our American troops, commanded to be under British rule in northern Russia during WWI, battling futility through post-war combat, annihilated by the Russians until the few Americans troops finally mutinied from their Wilsonian British commanders in order to negotiate their own return home, but on condition of silence or punitive action.

I've seen young American posts recently that promote neoconservative nation building. I doubt that they've studied what Wilson did to obliterate our Constitution. They write that America was spreading democracy by rebuilding Japan, Germany, etc. after WWII. Although the propagandized notion was to avoid repeating the disastrously violent void that Germany experienced after utter destruction between WWI-WWII, we should take note of current fallacious conclusions fabricated in effort to substantiate the rationale for perpetual "compassionate" warfare (instigating revolutions abroad). First, we didn't bring democracy to Germany which already experienced its Democratic Republic that suffered revolutionary defeat by their own German Marxists. German fascists battled the internationalist German communists in the streets, factories and voting booths for total authoritarian control. After WWII, what the US rebuilt at our taxpayer expense were those socialist European nations. The EU is utterly socialist. And so far as Asia goes, the way that power plays out in Japan amounts to socialism as well. Sure, they're all "democratic" because there are more socialists than not. Just as today, in "Islam" democracy exists whenever the majority sect rules the minority. Every revolution instigated by outside interests against another nation is simply warmongering. And war is hell. And there is no humanitarian rationale that rules during a war, especially no humanity now since the Geneva Convention is as "irrelevant" as our Constitution is treated by those in government. Our military and our taxes are being abused by globalists who most certainly are authoritarian. And in this process, indigenous minority populations are being annihilated, denied all human rights including the right to exist ANYWHERE.

That is the sickening reality resulting from the application of compassionate conservatism by this kinder, gentler nation. It's disgusting to realize what we've been bamboozled into either believe or support out of patriotic loyalty. However, disillusionment need not result in "defeatism". And certainly, there's nothing wise about jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Nonetheless, facing the truth is what makes us free though usually, the truth hurts. It is when the vote coagulates around blind comfort zones rather than around the Constitution that America loses itself in defeat to the global feudal order of authoritarianism.

I supported Fred Thompson for POTUS because he wouldn't play the puppet of masters. He'd certainly fight the good American fight. But he wouldn't be a push-over dupe for the global corporation. (Romney is, and so is Palin.) Thompson's policy takes form AFTER considering the long term affects, and would be based upon constitutional principles honoring State's Rights. He refuses to campaign again. And there isn't another like Teh Fred out there. But as I've consistently stated, we should stand on the Constitution as our political platform, and support the candidates who support the Constitution.

I refuse to support weenies for ignorant group think, particularly abusive weenies who play Alinsky as if to "compassionately" convince me to submit to Deceit.  I also retract support for candidates who play the Tea Party card in order to be elected, only to turn about and call the Tea Party "anarchist" in order to perpetuate the current status quo, the Republican Leadership that eschews the Tea Party. The US Constitution is NOT Anarchy, and the Tea Party supports and defends the US Constitution even though, as often as not, the Republican Party evades it as an inconvenient encumbrance.
