This is the exact kind of shit “fix” that I used to get into arguments with Monty on some of his doom threads. They did this kind of shit twice already with Medicare and SS and every damn time they did it because Congress REFUSED to reduce spending they spent the “fix” and the system stays broke. Not only did the not reduce spending, they damn INCREASED it because this was in effect, a tax increase and it supposedly gave them more revenue to spend (but as we know only for a short period of time).

Folks do not listen to the appeasers on the squishy bench. The ONLY way to “fix” this shit is to cut spending.

Fine.  Doug Ross only searched for the word that Chris Wallace specifically said people were using.  And people were not using it.

And he is way off base.  Way, way off base.  You know who is a flake?  Mitt Romney's a flake.  Ron Paul is a flake.  Herman Cain is somewhat flaky.  Jon Huntsman is like unto a bowl of Frosted Flakes.  Tim Pawlenty looks like a flaky hobo type.  There are a ton of flakes in the GOP field, and Michele is not one of them.

This was a Charlie Gibson looking-down-his-nose-through-his-spectacles moment.  Chris Wallace wants to be known around the cucumber sandwich eating garden parties as the guy who shot Liberty Valance.  Michele is a goddamned honest to God threat to the GOP establishment, and you're going to see elitists from every clique in both parties going for her throat at every opportunity.

That is just so f'n sad. I love dogs but I wouldn't trust a pit at all. I understand that dogs are what their owners make them but pits just have that killer instinct and are brutal. and it's always someone elses kid. Damn. So sad.

When I was a kid we had a pit bull (back in the 70's).  It was an ideal dog.  You could train 'em to be mean, but the same can be said of Rots or Dobermans or whatever other dog you've got.
