Most of them are thinking it would benefit the Republican Party because of of high population States almost all are permanent blue. That may well be the case but this is not the way to go about changing the Consitution.

This is also very dangerous in that the law of “unforeseen consequences” can really strike here. Currently they campaign most in battle ground States and in the early primary States trying to build the big “mo”.  With this type of voting they will campaign exclusively in high population States and play to their voters.

There is a reason the founders set it up the way they did. We need to leave this alone.
