Moody's Threat of US Downgrade Departure from S&P's Warning

Watered don House bill on illegal war in Libya

Boner hopes to dodge a bullet with this bill. The House had been free-wheeling its bills this session with Amendments galore until this issue with Libya came up. Denise the menace forwarded a bill calling for complete withdrawal from Libya and it had widespread bi-partisan support.

That worried Boner so he has submitted his own.

Teh Fred signs on to the BS "popular vote" movement

Well, there goes some of his conservative bonafides. This crap is blatantly unconstitutional. Most of them are thinking it would benefit the Republican Party because of of high population States almost all are permanent blue. That may well be the case but this is not the way to go about changing the Consitution.

This is also very dangerous in that the law of “unforeseen consequences” can really strike here. Currently they campaign most in battle ground States and in the early primary States trying to build the big “mo”.  With this type of voting they will campaign exclusively in high population States and play to their voters.

There is a reason the founders set it up the way they did. We need to leave this alone.

Manhattan appeals court orders city to fund homeless rent subsidies

More court ordered BS, but that isnÂ’t all of it. How about this little jewel buried in the story.

The $200 million, two-year city, state and federally funded Advantage program aims to move families from city shelters to self-sufficiency. Blaming state budget  cuts, Mayor Bloomberg ordered it shuttered in March.

It seem people in Hoboken are financing housing for people in NYC. This shit needs to cease.

LOL.  I sure hope they try.  Usually the short memories of Americans work against us, as Republican presidents are usually left cleaning up Democrat messes.  In this case it can finally work for us.  The Dems in the executive are saddled with the mess the Dems in the legislature created.  Most people can look back on the Bush years and remember that things were a lot better.  Only the un-convertable brain dead libtards, who will never vote our way anyway, will convince themselves otherwise.

Friday Look Ahead: US Jobs Growth Could Signal Worrisome Slowdown

The May jobs report, expected at 8:30 a.m. Friday, has been in hyper focus as markets navigated a flow of negative surprises in manufacturing, housing, and the jobs front this week. Thursday's trading was contained after Wednesday's more than 2 percent stock market selloff on a sharp drop in the ISM manufacturing survey and a shockingly small showing of just 38,000 new jobs in ADP's private sector report.

54 My administration has ordered a thorough review of how unemployment statistics are compiled and reported. It is obvious to me that people should not be considered "unemployed" during times when they would not be working anyway. Let me be clear! Most people sleep between 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. How can anyone called them unemployed during those times? What time they spend eating, going to the bathroom, and screwing their wife? Any reasonable observer must agree that means they are only about 50% unemployed. There! I just cut the unemployment rate to less than 5 percent! B Plus, Baby!

These people have no idea about economics, business,  or anything remotely useful.  The alternative is that they DO know and are deliberately tanking the economy.  Either way is scary and bad.

Okay, this is hilarious.  From the Telegraph, via Weasel Zippers:

MI6 attacks al-Qaeda in 'Operation Cupcake'

British intelligence has hacked into an al-Qaeda online magazine and replaced bomb-making instructions with a recipe for cupcakes.

The cyber-warfare operation was launched by MI6 and GCHQ in an attempt to disrupt efforts by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula to recruit “lone-wolf” terrorists with a new English-language magazine, the Daily Telegraph understands.

When followers tried to download the 67-page colour magazine, instead of instructions about how to “Make a bomb in the Kitchen of your Mom” by “The AQ Chef” they were greeted with garbled computer code.

The code, which had been inserted into the original magazine by the British intelligence hackers, was actually a web page of recipes for “The Best Cupcakes in America” published by the Ellen DeGeneres chat show...

More at the link.

That last bit is especially priceless.  Not only did they hack the site with CUPCAKE recipes, but cupcake recipes published by a talk show hosted by a lesbian.  That's just all kinds of awesome.

The trick is to realize that to the left, deviency is morally superior to normalcy.  Polygamy is superior to monogamy (at least when it's because the wife is a slut who wants to sleep around!), homosexuality is superior to heterosexuality; people with full arm tatoos, ear gauges and enough piercings to make Pinhead wince are somehow seen as more authentic and attractive than those who dress conservatively, hold down a job, and strive to have a nice comfortable life...

With all of the bad economic news who does it hurt the most according to AP? Why Barry of course.

Only fucking leftists could look at socialism fail to be able to see all of harm, death and misery it has caused and could look at its utter universal failure and still want to implement it.

Posted by: Hussein the Plumber at June 03, 2011 09:19 AM (jx2j9)

That is because the current lefties can do it better because... well, because they are smarter than all of the failed socialists of the past.

I think I blamed the Easter Bunny last time so this time I'll say it was all the tornados, yeah that's it.

Those unexpected tornados really did a number on me.

Then we are screwed. It is only a matter of time before Obama's (pbuh) policies revitalize the economy. If we make this election about the economy, we will lose.

103 Yes, since YouTube provides the means by which to embed videos in web pages, they support outlawing the practice

Yeah, check out my earlier post about u-tube videos. They want to make it a felony to imbed them in your site.

Make no mistake about it. This is not about copyright infringement. It is about limiting the ability of the internet to post political messages. The internet is the last place that the Dems don't own and they can't have that.

They want the "fairness doctrine" back to silence talk radio and they want control of the internet to silence it.

Thank goodness!

My godmother is in Springfield, but I haven't heard from her (spoke the day before the tornado) so I think that means she's ok.  (Maybe I should call.)  Most of my extended family are in central Mass.
