4 Apologies to the Moron (Beedubya?) who posted this yesterday, but it's definitely worth repeating.  Remember Angelo Codevilla, extolled by Rush for his piece on the "country class and the ruling class"?  He's got another one out about the presidunce and the cozy relationship it appears his grandparents had with the CIA.  IOW, our own gubmint created this monster.  While he does say some of his info isn't verifiable and that some of the sources are shaky to begin with, descriptions of photos and timelines make this sound plausible.

5 Mock not the Chicken Littles of the climate change cargo cult science, for they are devoid of capacity to reason. Instead, keep them occupied by breaking a CFL bulb in their vicinity so that they can clean up the mess according to their divinely inspired ritual. Or you may challenge their "thought process" by inquiring, "And what, again, is the source of the electricity to recharge your 'pollution-free' electric vehicles?"

6  @5--Are you certain you weren't at our gathering last night? We were discussing this very subject, about recharging EVs, and I asked that same question. So one individual looked at me, got up, walked to the nearest outlet and proclaimed "Right there, dipshit". ( Honest, I'm not making this up, this nitwit is related by marriage).

Just stunned me, I couldn't muster the will to continue the argument.  Just feel VERY sorry for his wife, she's such a sweet girl.

I wouldn't have been able to conceal my snort.

8 Mark Steyn channeling Shelly.  If not for being so true, 'twould be funny.

In order to fund Obamacare and the other opiates of Big Government dependency, the feds need to take 25 percent of GDP, now and forever: The "new normal." It can't be done. Look around you. The new normal's already here: flat-line jobs market, negative equity, the dead parrot economy. What comes next will be profoundly abnormal. His name was Obamandias, King of Kings. Look upon his works, ye mighty, and despair. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare, the lone and level sands stretch far away.

My reply would have been: "The electricity doesn't just magically appear at the socket, you ignorant piece of shit."

11 Heck, that outlet probably isn't even rated for what it would take to charge the car. It probably needs some 3 phase 220 volt juice or something.

12 I went looking for the latest developments in Dyson-Harrop satellites, hoping to find that magic electricity, mostly for the EVs that will rule the roads in China soon, but I got side-tracked by our Dawn probes immanent arrival at Vesta. What a rock! Hope it spots some LGM footprints.

I clicked over to NASA TV at the rumored 10PM Pacific, expecting to see *some* sort of coverage, even if it was just a room full of people intently staring at a monitor.

Nothing.

sigh.

If any of what Cordevilla pieces together in that essay is even remotely accurate,
we are indeed witnessing the planned dismantling of America.

14 ... "...expecting to see *some* sort of coverage..." Well pooh, that stinks!

I know, I know, (*waving hand in air*) they DID find footprints or maybe pieces of the Nostromo!

18 Because I'm sure you all would want to know... The boiled chicken breast diet for the dog has been a success. He loves it. I still have to "prime" the pump, but once he starts eating, he does it with gusto. He had a blood glucose curve test done yesterday which he aced. The Vet was extremely impressed by his results. He even lost a lb. If he loses another lb, he'll be back to his svelte self of 11 lbs.

19 Oh, there is a drawback of being exposed to warm, moist, funky chicken farts. I guess it could be worse...
