In the stupid is as stupid does category
Black Student Sues Minnesota High School for Celebrating 'Wigger Day'A black student is suing her former Minnesota high school for celebrating "Wednesday Wigger Day," where white students pretended to be black during homecoming week, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Wednesday.
The idea that a school is so stupid as to make this part of an official school function simply astounds me to death. And they actually defend the practice. Now imagine this, if this same case had happened in Alabama or Mississippi. It would be on the news cycle 24/7 for weeks and Jesse would be there.

Connie Mack on F&F this morning explaining his debt cut plan. First freeze the budget to the same spending that they have now (note this new “deal” that we have doesn’t do that and he even said it. It only cuts the rate of increase). Once we have frozen the budget then cut actual spending by 1% every year for six years.

This is the new fight in Washington, picking the BS super panel
Congressional leaders have until Aug. 16 to name the 12 members of the newly created “supercommittee” to deal with reducing the deficit, but special interest groups are wasting no time in pushing their choices for the panel.
As I said yesterday, the Dems will appoint 6 hardcore commies because they make up probably 95% of their party. All it will take after that is one RINO from the Republicans and we are screwed. HereÂ’s what they say here:
One wrong pick, lobbyists on the right and left said Wednesday, could swing the panel toward a terrible compromise. So they are not taking chances.
These sources are already urging leaders to pick top lieutenants who will stick to party positions — no entitlement cuts for Democrats and no tax increases for Republicans.
What I say to McConnell and Boner, pick Tea Party terrorists for our 6 or else because you created this mess of a shit panel.

More on the Cell Phone crap. On F&F they reported that this free stuff is in PA and that the decision to make it a “right” was made by the bureaucrats not the legislature.

Another story The Judge talked about this morning
Bureaucrats run amuck with imperial power and fine 11 year old girl $535 for saving baby woodpecker from cat. After the media got hold of the story they have backed off. This illustrates to the American people how little freedom they actually have in today’s regulatory environment. Everything is regulated and there is a law for everything now. Bachmann said we needed the “mother of all repeal bills” starting with the EPA. We need some more candidates to take up that cry and we need so-called “mainstream” Republicans to quit calling people like her “fringe”.

It all depends on the Holder definition of "wrongdoing"
I bet wrongdoing == whistle-blowing and preventing the desired outcome there will be a public sacrifice and then several months later retribution for those who dared to stand up and do the right thing.

Jeff Bezos is a corporate jet owner (and even if he isn't he should be), his company makes a consistent profit, provides good service, competes in a free market system, and employs people and suppliers.
Obviously we need to tax his corporate jet, increase his taxes, decrease his profitabity, regulate his suppliers, and ensure that he SHARES in the sacrifice of his business to a Marxist theology.

"On their way home, they stopped at a hardware store and a woman who works for the Fish and Wildlife served told them it's illegal to transport baby woodpeckers. They're protected under the Federal Migratory Bird Act."
So the woman could have helped by telling them who to contact, or even making the contact herself and directing mom and Skylar to a local licensed rehabber. Instead she pretty much ensured that if Skylar sees another bird in need she'll do nothing.
Another great job by nanny government.

A little OT, but I didn't see this mentioned in the L.B Cooper story:
One of the M&Ms suggested watching Decoded's episode on the hijacking, so I called it up on Netflix last night. They make a pretty good circumstantial case against their suspect, but there was one niggling (whoops! I denounce myself) thing -
According to the show, the suspect made $500 a month working as a purser for Northwest. After the hijacking, he had nearly $100,000 in the bank, paid cash for a house and loaned someone $5000. Pretty interesting, except. . .the FBI copied the serial numbers on every $20 bill they handed over to Cooper, and except for about five grand that turned up in a river in the 1980s, none of that money was ever seen again.
So if Decoded's suspect was D.B. Cooper, how did he manage to launder / find / come up with all of his money if none of it was the marked bills? Any M&Ms put me some f'n knowledge here?

I was thinking about that the other day. The WH Press Secretary has a lot to do with how cynically a President's policy changes will be interpreted.
I always thought Bush was hurt very badly by that doughboy Scott Whateverhisnamewas who followed Ari Fleisher. Ari was awesome, as was Tony Snow later on.
In Obama's admin, Gibbs was unbearable asswipe, but he at least controlled the room and got O's message out clearly. Carney physically twists and turns at the podium (he reminds me of Gollum), mewling half-truths and walkbacks so regularly that the press corps is starting to mock him. Not good.
If I were an incoming GOP president I would ask Brit Hume to be my press secretary.

The legal wheels have finally turned an Obami and his rule edict on Gun Control is being sued
I fully expected this and what I would like to see is a suit that challenges them on the merits of “rule by decree” so that it will open the gates for all of these Obama “so let be written, so let it be done” executive decrees.
The specifics of the suit are not mentioned in this article only some gripes by dealers and a discussion on the government being the ones who actually did the gun trades with the drug dealers that created the mess to begin with. My feeling on this is that is exactly what they did so that they could get new laws via executive fiat. When they were caught red handed they had to settle for this new obtrusive “reporting” law. But never fear, this another “camel’s nose in the tent” law. Within a few years every dealer in the country will have to be making the same reports, and it will be on ALL guns, whether they are ugly or not.
IÂ’m sure we will be hearing more about this suit down the road.
