Fox (TV) is reporting a major attack against the U.S. Embassy in Kabul by the Taliban. They are reporting massive casualties but very few details. This is the danger of placing Americans in harmÂ’s way with very little military. That is the Democrats normal policy when they do commit military. It is always too little too late and usually in the wrong place.

Fox's take on the CNN debate

Evidently they jabbed at each other but no wholesale attacks. I donÂ’t know, I missed it due to visiting in-laws. I would ask what the other Morons though that actually saw it but that is useless. The Perry supporters will say he was great, the Romneybots will say he sucked and Romney was king, the Paulbots will do their thing and the Palin holdouts will say the debate was shit because she wasnÂ’t there.

CNN's take has it being more combative - not surprising

F&F this morning of course pushed mainly Romney. They quoted the LA Times who said Romney “won” then played the “jobs” debate between Romney and Perry. I saw no “win” there for Romney. I thought Perry actually made it to the top simply stating the facts.  Anytime you hear anything from the LAT on politics you can pretty much bet that it is a lying slanted POS.

They also played BachmannÂ’s attack on the HPV thing which Perry owned up to as a mistake. We all knew that was coming and I covered it in the Perry eval. However, she went across the line and essentially accused him of being bought for $5K from Merk. PerryÂ’s comeback was good but this kind of shit is totally uncalled for among Republican candidates.   Bachmann is now off my short list. Desperation is not an excuse for shitting on fellow Republicans and giving the Dems ammunition, even if it is BS duds.

F&F also played Newt beating the living dog shit out of Obama with side swipes at the press. Newt is providing a good function here as he did in the last “debate”.

The Weekly Neocon sides with the LAT - no surprise there

House will pass a bill to halt the union thugs at the NLRB

It will not make it past the Senate of course, and even if it did the head commie ‘n chief would veto it.  Based on that, this has to be a purely symbolic guesture by crying Boner to embarrass the Obominites. That will be partially successful but the press will mute the message, just like they have never reported that all thee union thugs were appointed without Senate approval by under the table Obama moves. The only way the House will halt the NRLB is to defund them via a “take it or leave it” budget bill. That was the 2010 campaign strategy but crying Boner has shown that he is scared to use that strategy.

Details of the phony jobs bill emerge

Mr. Obama proposed limiting itemized deductions for families with taxable income of $250,000 or more a year, ending tax breaks for oil companies and corporate jet owners, and cutting out a tax break for investment-fund managers. The White House says the tax changes would take effect in 2013 and estimates they would raise $467 billion in additional revenue over 10 years.

Keep in mind that when a commie talks about ending “tax breaks” 99% of the time they are talking about eliminating business expresses that are routinely subtracted from gross revenues in order to determine profit.

That is not exactly the case with the “jet” shit but what he wants to do is almost negligible in actual revenue enhancement. What this bill is is just more the same Obama shit, tax and spend socialism rolled out in an election campaign daring the Republicans to kill it so he can parrot the commie message and the PR rags will dutifully report it.

Thomas Sowell's take - as usual clear, concise, and on the money

Crying Boner and Misty McConnell better find a better way to combat the PR rags because they sure as shit havenÂ’t been good at it so far.  And crying Boner has better not do another one of his famous “compromises” for another bag of magic beans and unspecified cuts down the road.

FCC pushing net neutrality through despite no support in congress and a previous court order telling them they did not have the authority

Amazing how this administration simply thumbs its nose at the courts when they lose. Jackson and his infamous dealings over the violation of the treaty with the Cherokees doesnÂ’t hold a candle to this crew of lawless assholes. A Republican would have long ago been impeached.

California "Republican" will support tax hikes

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon (R-Calif.) said Monday, if forced to choose, he would support tax increases before further cuts to the Pentagon budget.

This is why I thought this frakin super committee was a POS.

NRC staff calls for speedy evaluation of earthquake, flood risks at nuke plants

Let me rephrase that headline for you.

NRC staff, at the push from Markey goon chairman, calls for even more useless regulations requiring even more expensive modifications using  earthquake and flood risks at nuke plants in Japan which have very little or no bearing at 99% of the plants in the U.S.

This is a raw political move designed to increase operating costs to shutdown the plants on the margins of operating costs.

For those of you who are not in the know look at this way. Suppose you bought a new car in 2010. Somebody in Germany had a car of somewhat similar design and had a wreck on the autobahn while doing 150 mph in the rain.  Along comes the NTSB and orders that you have your car modified by ripping out all of the breaking system and replacing it with a new system that may make minor improvements in brakingÂ…..at a cost of $10,000.

Democrat PR rag carries water for Romney in SC

They use T-Paw sloganing for “electability” as a crutch. I guess they have to do that for Romney in SC because he has absolutely NOTHING else to offer SC voters. All the other candidates have to do to assure Romney comes in dead last in SC is get out his MA record on healthcare, gun control, and AGW. He will be a dead duck.

28 I caught the last part of the debate live, then the rest in rerun.  The big loser last night was Obama on the economy (on turning it around and also on the Fed).  He got his ass kicked with sound and unique reasoning by each of the candidates and I don't even think the O was mentioned while they did it, but it was the elephant in the room of how clueless the O really is.

ZH's take on the phony jobs bill:

overall AJA plan will cost $250,000 per job created (excluding the interest expense) and $312,500 per union job, er job created (including interest). And that's how much it costs for Obama to purchase one vote... created or saved. Keynesian efficiency strikes like a Swiss watch yet again.

30 Hi,  Vic.  Thanks for the news on the Kabul embassy.  I don't have the TV on yet and didn't know.

Regarding debates: tea party audience not helpful (probably a lot of Paulbots there as well); Guardasil argument was both irrelevant to big issues and managed to derail efforts to talk about Obama's failings, plus made Bachmann and Santorum look a little fanatical; Ron Paul should be banned from further debates for his comments on terrorism; Perry probably guilty of some crony capitalism,  but it pales in comparison to Obama and the DNC; little discussion of foreign policy,  as CNN hoped; finally - glad not many people watched!

31 We have over 100,000 troops in Afghanistan, Vic.. sure, not all in Kabul.. but..

The fact of the matter is the military wanted a surge of over 3 times the amount Obama finally sent late. They are scattered too far and too thin to accomplish the objective and Obama intendeds to reduce them even further making this kind of shit even more likely.

He is doing this solely for political reasons. The worthless sucker of cock is using the lives of American troops for political expediency and I hold him in nothing but utter contempt.

Now he wants to reduce troops in Irag down to 3k.  Tell me that isn't a damn invitation for attack. And finally I have been through this SHIT before and I said never again. FUCK.HIM

When he decided there was no objective he should have pulled them ALL then, not sent a pittance of what was needed.

We lost an objective after a few months in Afghanistan.

In last night's debate a woman who had been born in Afghanistan asked a questionlike "What will you do as president to protect the women and children of Afghanistan from radicals?"

Most of the candidates say we should bring the troops home.  And I agree.  Even triple the troops would not be enough.  It's not even a country.. it's a bunch of tribal regions artificially bound together by an artificial border.

The day we got rid of the last Al Quaeda training camp is the day we should have pulled out.

The vaccine thingy is a hit, but he has owned up to it. Pushing it will not help Bachmann so she aught to shut up on it.

In any case that positively pales on the shit Obama has done. The only people it will influence are the ones who are already in the Obama camp anyway, and even there if it were a Dem who did it they would fully support it.

I thought Newt continued his surprise with his return to sanity.  I really could see him as a VP for Perry because Perry would keep his AGW BS in check.

Romney still looked good as a polished candidate.  His positions though are still the same.

Cain I though did better.  At least for me, he lately just hadn't looked presidential.

Bachmann still the same in general, although I thought she did better this time.  Most of her points were good and but she just doesn't have anything to point at for a record.

Ron Paul was more cogent last night but he still eventually got into his spaceship and took off for worlds unknown.

Santorum has decent answers; he just isn't well known.

Then there was this guy there named John, or Jon, or something.

Unsustainable "police/kinetic" actions are another example of megalomania on the part of the ruling class. It is obvious that we can't police the world. Hell, we can't even police Detroit! But the establishment is firmly committed to trying (overseas, ot so much in Detroit), in spite of all the evidence that it doesn't work. As a rational citizen, I believe that only answer is a declaration of war from congress, followed by total war ending with unconditional surrender by the enemy. The answer is most assuredly not leaving a few (3000) troops hanging at the sharp end of the conflict with no intent of real support. If congress doesn't care enough about a conflict to call it a real war, then save money and lives and stay the eff out. Right now, the weak horse is looking positively anemic.

From the comments on the link in the sidebar about Michelle Bachmann, a special kind of crazy--this poster, naturally, identifies as a Democrat:

The reason that Rick Perry is so in favor of HPV is because most Texas republican girls can't remember being deflowered. Indeed, all they remember is what they're told to remember. You see, the Young Republican clubs in Dallas and Houston started it, of course when George W. Bush "Junior" was at the helm. The permission slip they get signed by parents to join YR informs parents of the strong likelihood of drugs and sexual activity. The unusually frank form is usually considered a prank or as a barrier to entry by the parents, designed to limit membership to the staunchest supporters of the republican cause. What it really is, is license making parents complicit.

Young Republican girls are drugged with a clear vaporous liquid with the consistency of vodka. They sniff the vapors or they are forced to sniff the vapors from a snifter, then the party begins. The girls loose all ability to resist demands made upon them, they retain no will at all being drugged. While influenced by the drug, they remember absolutely nothing of their rapes. When they come out of their ordeal, they are influenced to give their parents the story that they had a wonderful time and want to return. Indeed, without knowledge of their own sexual abuse by leaders of Young Republicans, 'they live for it'.

The same drug was used to 'convince' Jared Loughner to shoot Democratic representative Gabby Giffords. It is the same drug that George H.W. Bush used to 'convince' all of America's spate of assassins in nearly every political death in America of the last fifty years. Frame jobs are a specialty of the group entrusted with death squad work in the USA. Wilbur Mills did not voluntarily wake up in a fountain with his stripper mistress, nor did Teddy Kennedy drown Mary Jo Kopeckne at Chappaquiddick. Vince Foster was not a closet homosexual, he was murdered and framed by the republican Death Squad.

Harriet Miers, before becoming presidential counsel to George W. Bush and one of his supreme court nominees, was the madam of Bush's house of ill repute. She would collect up the girls (and boys) for the meetings and special parties for republican party officials, who universally participated. John Tower never missed a party and obtained more sexual favors than anyone. Tower, unfamiliar with the drugs usually used to prepare the young women, managed to embarrass himself repeatedly when he found YR victims working in Washington, DC and accosted them sexually. That is why he was not confirmed as Secretary of Defense after his nomination by George H.W. Bush. Miss Miers was denied confirmation to the US Supreme Court because of her licentious behavior, too--and most of the US Senators of the republican party had been to Bush parties and knew of her involvement therein. Conde Rice was a 'lead girl' of the ring in the early seventies, but her culpability was limited due to her being drugged and raped repeatedly, perhaps that is why she was confirmed while Tower & Miers were not?

Rick Perry must know of this debauchery. It probably continues to the present day, and Perry would know of the many 'unfortunate' infections of HPV in girls who genuinely consider themselves innocent. Doubtless HPV inoculation is now a condition of acceptance into the Texas Young Republicans club, so making that easier would become a Texas priority.

81 Buses for planes sucks ass.  I'm 100 miles from a major hub and we got a runway capable of supporting significant aircraft right here in this county and we don't have subsidized flights.  Cab fare for that distance is over $100 so making business flights from out here in the sticks is a serious pain in the ass before I even get molested by the TSA.  Been many years since the last time I flew commertial.  If it's only 700 miles away I drive.
