So the Romneybots think they can attack Perry easily eh
The Romney campaign says it is the beginning of a new phase. Aides say the time has come to contrast RomneyÂ’s record with those of his opponents, and they expect Romney will keep the pressure on Perry, specifically. Criticism on issues like immigration, Social Security and jobs is expected on the campaign trail, in an upcoming debate sponsored by Fox News and Google next week, and, perhaps, in TV and radio ads eventually.
If Romney runs on his record he will lose droves of voters all over the country. His record is shit. Most likely he will continue to draw a page from the Obama playbook and simply spread lies while flip-flopping and avoiding his real record.
Meanwhile Bachmann has drawn a page from RomneyÂ’s playbook and crossed the line on the Gardicil thing. Playing against the executive order was a legitimate campaign device but Perry had muted it by admitting the XO was a mistake. So she had to cross the line and actually accuse him of corruption. That is a Democrat tactic. She has been stricken from my short list.
Sorry Bachmann, you needed to keep it clean even if you are desperate.
Back with the article
For months, Romney sat atop public opinion polls across the nation and in early primary states, seemingly the top preference of Republican voters who had denied him their party's presidential nomination in 2008. He spent much of the year ignoring darts from his rivals.
What Fox in pushing their boy here neglects is that he sat atop the polls because he is an old establishment candidate who has not stopped campaigning since 2008. His lead in the polls was always based on pure name recognition. I have long predicted that he would drop off in the polls after labor day. PerryÂ’s entry to the race has only hastened that.
F&F keeps playing that interchange from Romney because they think it helps Romney. I donÂ’t. They put FDRÂ’s grandson on there who touted SS as an insurance plan and called Perry a liar.

And speaking of Fox, Perry, and Romney
Commie Karl Kameron tries to torpedo Perry for Iowa
Though the Tea Party debate took place thousands of miles away in Tampa, Texas Gov. Rick Perry's less-than-stellar performance Monday on key conservative issues is resonating in Iowa.
Snip
According to Vander Plaats, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum hurt Perry with conservatives over "illegal Immigration, forced vaccination, and pay to play politics."
Vander Plaats is head of the Iowa Family Policy Center, the author of a Pro-Life & traditional values pledge and ran unsuccessfully for governor of Iowa. He has yet to endorse a 2012 GOP presidential candidate.
The question is, how much influence does “Vander Plaats” have with the Iowa caucuses? If you look at the last three polls for Iowa at RCP Perry is blowing them all away.

The Islamic Tet is over and the Taliban has been squashed
But unlike the original Tet, the Cronkites of today will not herald it has a victory for the enemy even though they were squashed. That is because their worshipful God is in power now and they must not do anything to hurt him. Just imagine how this would have played out in the press if Bush was still in office.
But not to worry, a NYT reporter on F&F this morning trying to credit the Taliban with more “win” than they even got close to getting.

Palin has jumped the HPV shark as well
Sarah Palin says she is not afraid to call out fellow Republicans when she thinks they have been "part of the problem." On Monday night, Palin accuses Republican candidate for President Rick Perry of engaging in "crony capitalism."
"Michelle Bachmann pointed out that Governor Perry's former chief of staff who then went to work for a drug company who made the drug that would be required of the Texan government to mandate that our young daughters would have to be inoculated against a potential disease from this company that his former chief of staff was lobbying for. That is crony capitalism.
Actually “crony capitalism” is an oxymoron phrase coined by the Democrats. Republicans should never use this term. What the Dems call “crony capitalism” is what is going on with GE and all these stupid “green” companies like the one in CA which just went bankrupt. The government uses tax money to favor their desired industries and supporters while writing legislation to benefit those companies over their competitors. In a real capitalist economy there would be zero intervention in any company or market. We haven’t had a real capitalist economy since before the unfortunate war of 1861, and even then thanks to the tariffs of abomination it wasn’t a true economy.
The movement of government officials out of government and in to private company employment as lobbyists for the company is not “crony capitalism”. It is corruption and it is widespread in both Parties.
From this attack by Palin, I gather she is getting ready to either enter the race herself or she is getting ready to endorse Bachmann. Entering the race herself would hurt the Republican conservative branch by diluting the votes and make it possible for Romney to pull another McCain by winning the primary with 70% of the base opposed to him.
Endorsing Bachmann at this stage would most likely have little impact.

Remember crying Boner's deal for the 2011 budget that was supposed to limit the deficit to $1.1T?
Well it is already up to $1.23T and we still have two or three months of spending to go (depending on when this total was made).
That being said, the Hill seems to remember a different number for that “deal”.
With one month left to go in the fiscal year, the deficit has already cleared $1 trillion for the third straight year, and is on pace to approximately meet fiscal 2010's deficit of $1.29 trillion.
The number I remember after the “deal” was made was $1.1T for the deficit. (comments on other’s memory welcome here) Of course the actual numbers are almost impossible to find. The MFM doesn’t like spreading numbers that are not helpful to this administration. The Original Obama budget was for a deficit of $1.4T.

Also, notice the headline here from the Dem PR rag:
ManchinÂ’s strategy for surviving 2012 in a red state: Bash President ObamaSen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) might have found the formula for saving a vulnerable Senate Democrat facing a tough reelection bid in a red state: Bash President Obama and his policies.
My question; When did West Virginia become a “red State”? The last Republican Senator left office in Jan 1959.

LOL, F&F hitting the new regulations from the DOT on city street signs that will cost the already bankrupt local governments to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on new signs. This is all well and good but no question on where the federal government gets the authority to tell cities how their street signs must be designed.

hahahahahaha true desperation. Dems - Blame Bush!
Come on Clyburn – keep on with that chicken.
WASHINGTON — House Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn blamed President George W. Bush on Tuesday for the mountain of federal debt the S.C. lawmaker said accumulated through two unfunded wars and tax cuts for the wealthy.
Funny, I heard this same stupid BS from my one liberal BIL yesterday. No answer for how the deficit went from about $300B and decreasing under Bush to $1.4T under Obama.

Since I was getting to the end of these rags I thought I would put it out there. It seems to be one of the Democrat campaign talking points moving in to the 2012 campaign season post labor day.
GOP leadership, take notice and figure out a way to shit all over this propaganda for Obama from the MFM.

It is one thing (what thing that is we are not sure, but we have heard others say it, so like all good lemmings we will say it too) for Rick Perry to call Social Security a ponzi scheme. After all he is some crazy, foaming in the mouth conservative, as uber-Keynesian liberal Paul Krugman may call him. And that's fine. What confuses us, however, is why Social Security would be called a ponzi by the same liberal noted previously: none other than Paul Krugman himself.

She's got a pretty good shot. Scott Brown won't have the national money or energy he had last time, the Dem machine will be ready because this isn't a special election, and it's a presidential race in which his opponent will benefit from down-ticket voting (one of the few places where that's true).
Scott Brown is pretty popular in the state, but he's by no means invulnerable.

DETROIT (AP) - A U.S. woman said Tuesday that she endured nearly four hours in police custody that included being forced off an airplane in handcuffs, strip-searched and interrogated at Detroit's airport on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks—all, she believes, because of her Middle Eastern appearance.
Strip searched, handcuffed, and fingerprinted and no charges. Yes, I object to this.

"This time, they’re not just out to personally attack the President — they’re also out to mislead Americans about the record of accomplishments that he’s compiled. (Bloomberg) A majority of Americans donÂ’t believe President Barack ObamaÂ’s $447 billion jobs plan will help lower the unemployment rate, skepticism he must overcome as he presses Congress for action and positions himself for re- election.
The downbeat assessment of the American Jobs Act reflects a growing and broad sense of dissatisfaction with the president. Americans disapprove of his handling of the economy by 62 percent to 33 percent, a Bloomberg National Poll conducted Sept. 9-12 shows. The disapproval number represents a nine point increase from six months ago.
The presidentÂ’s job approval rating also stands at the lowest of his presidency -- 45 percent. That rating is driven down in part by a majority of independents, 53 percent, who disapprove of his performance.
Obviously the people they polled are racists who hate Barry only because of his skin color
