2 Ha!  Finally.  An Obama is a stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure.

3 Am I the only one here?

Posted by: Chuck Z at September 05, 2011 04:15 AM (OITDh)

4 You've got to be kidding me.  If I wanted to be all by my self with my pants off, I'd be in the park.

Posted by: Chuck Z at September 05, 2011 04:15 AM (OITDh)

5 Put your pants back on Chuck.  You're not alone.

6 second?  Chuck, its a holliday.  Go back to sleep.

7 Barack Obama is a stuttering clusterf*ck of a miserable failure.

And so, it happens, is my local electric delivery provider (Oncor Electric- formerly TXU Electric Delivery).

Also: Since I don't actually get the day off (stupid on-call schedule), why is it, exactly, that we celebrate a Communist holiday?

8 Lefty socialist Labor Day...I'd rather get some work done.

9 It's a holiday?  Someone should've told my boss.  I've been here for 8 hours, only four more to go!  (and 16 till another 12-hour shift.)

11 Atta boy, Chuck Z. I haven't taken a day off since last Feb. If I'm not working I'm just getting in trouble, so it's safer to work. I hope you enjoy your life as much as I enjoy mine.
Just another day. A wonderful day. Hello to Vic

16 The headline in the Detroit Free Press today: " Labor Day speech in Detroit will test Obama."
Not unemployment, not a terrified private sector, but a friggin' speech is what the bootlicking headline writers at the Detroit Free Press think will "test"  the SCFOAMF.

Elsewhere in the state newsletter of the workers paradise an editorial writer pleads  with the 51% of Detroit parents who neglect to send their kids to school on the first day to do so.  (As if any of them read the editorial pages).

And to top that off, there is another story listing the many reasons why organized labor is unhappy with the One.  Jimmy Hoffa Jr. is demanding that corporate executives who refuse to "invest" in this SCFOAMF's devastated economy be labelled "unpatriotic".

17 The SCOAMF is spending the day preparing for his big speech: Oh, yes, I'm quite sure that Sir Golfsalot is spending a lot of time addressing balls.

18 16 What is the literacy rate in Detroit? The parents probably can't read anyway.

19 16 Worker's Paradise,

right just like union people who refuse to honor their contracts and demand unrealistic increases in their wages and benefits will be labeled "unpatriotic" right?

*crickets*

20 Barry is in Detroit? I guess they haven't shut down all the golf courses there yet. As for his speech "testing" Obama, I hope the teleprompters held an "all-nighter" in preparation for today's big "test".

21 20 Snake,

well you know Detroit metro is DEFINITELY "hostile" to the old bamster right?

//rolleyes

22 In honor of today's 'prompter reading:

Oooh bet you're wonderin' how I knew
About your plans to make me blue
Some other guy you knew before
Obama is a stuttering clusterfuck of a miserable failure

23 This would mean he actually understands what he does not know, doubtful.

I had to stop reading the Free Press several years ago. Their incessant lies and cheerleading just got to me.

Typical Detroit Free Press article: "President Super Fantastic Miracle Worker Who Has Your Best Interests at Heart Stymied by Evil, Evil Republicans Who Want You to Die Penniless and Alone."

Racist!

/also, you do not need to know how to read in Detroit. We are a society that helps each other- the literate brothers and sisters here all work for the welfare office, and will gladly fill out all the forms to make sure those who are in need get more than their fair share for their entire life.

26 The book he should be reading is "Economics for Really Dumb Fucks".

Posted by: Blacque Jacques Shellacque at September 05, 2011 07:22 AM (dr4y0)

27 >>"Economics for Really Dumb Fucks"

This is exactly the first thing that went thru my mind at first glance.

Posted by: sTevo at September 05, 2011 07:25 AM (VMcEw)

28 OK, I'm trying to play catch up here. Is this the speech where the skies open up, skittles rain down on us, the sea levels lower and everyone gets a job? Or is this the speech where he explains how everything was Bush's fault? I hope it's the first one since the second one has been used too many times.

29 You can't fix "stupid"     affirmative action.

30 Perhaps SCOAMF can get some tips from Ms. Solis.

Posted by: Barbarian at September 05, 2011 08:11 AM (EL+OC)

31 SCOAMF is not yet ready for Economics for Dummies. He first needs a crash primer Economics For Those Suffering From A Severe Case of Cranial-Rectal Inversion course. From Urban Dictionary: 1. cranial rectal inversion: The act of having your head up your ass. Ex. "Are you really that stupid? You must be suffering from a cranial rectal inversion. What a dumb-ass."

Belated thanks, Scott W, for the Salon piece on why Barry should be primaried.  I'm reading the comments right now - so far my favorite:

Until you can actually do something and get someone who isn't completely unelectable on a national scale, which by definition excludes Sanders, Kucinich, Greenwald, Hamsher, Chomsky or whomever is the "dream candidate", until then, this whole thing is an exercise in intellectual dishonesty.

That's a list of "dream" candidates ?  A declared Socialist, a UFO abductee who once brought a pie chart to a radio debate, 2 bloggers and an intellectual who's far more reality-challenged than Barry ?

Makes we want to warm some pudding.
