It's a decent show, probably the most-popular shooting show on TV right now, almost 3 million people watch each show. Yes, it's Survivor with guns. You'd prefer Survivor with skittle-farting unicorns?

Well, I'm watching it, and I shot a three-gun match last week and I'm shooting a USPSA match this weekend, a .22 match next week and the Superstition Mountain Mystery Three Gun next month. One activity (watching a gun show) doth not preclude the other (actual shooting).

My father and his buddy build match guns. We shoot all the time. I don't like shooting with strangers, though. I skip matches and club shoots.

Add another one. There's one this weekend I'm almost certainly going to miss in my area because I didn't know about it until today.

I just changed scopes on a couple of rifles and have only laser-sighted them so far, need desperately a range day.
