— Ace Come on, we're not really going to do this, are we?
21% Romney, 17% for both Hucakbee and Trump.
If we're really desperate for a different candidate with a celebrity edge -- how about begging Fred Thompson to try again? But this time, not late to the party, and not slapdash-staffed.
As others have pointed out, people like Pawlenty aren't worried at this point because a lot of it is just pure name recognition stuff. And Romney's lead is very paper-tiger-ish.

Either Trump will turn out to be a good candidate or he won't. He will have to go through the primaries like everyone else.
His son was on Fox and Friends this morning and went into a rant about how our foreign policy is embarrassing and how our economy is being destroyed. He also said he would be thrilled if his father ran.
I am merely enjoying the fact that SOMEONE is talking about what a terrible president Obama is. I will vote for the Republican nominee, and if it's Trump, well, he is STILL better than Obama!

I cannot take Trump seriously. There are some wackos in the GOP but I don't even think Trump is a Republican except in the Bloomberg sense and he is certainly no conservative.
At a time when the GOP should walk away with the election, are we going to honor tradition and shoot ourselves in all our feet and a few knees while we're at it? I sincerely hope not. But it is way too early to be mixing up the hemlock just yet.

If that dead polar bear in Germany (Krout? Col. Klink? a K name) would say what Trump said on O'Reilly I would vote for the polar bear, may he RIP.
Trump says, without fear of special interests controlling his thoughts or mouth or future, what many Americans are thinking. His interview last Thursday (on pompous-pants O'Reilly) was supposed to "make our heads snap back" on his stance in Iraq (he believes we should stay and have them pay for our money and blood in oil---zacktly what the Code Pinkers protested with Bush). My head did not snap back, O'reilly. Instead, big surprise, you moderate preening jerk (O'Reilly is who I am talkin' to), I agreed with Trump on most of what he said, and admired his straight talk. Trump has a point: these countries should owe us for freeing them from dictators et all. He wants to put a tariff on China, who are bleeding us dry in money and jobs. He wants Obummer to put up or shut up on the BC issue. He has nothing to lose in speaking what a huge number of Americans think, and I admire his courage. He simply does not care what the media or elites think about him as he has nothing to lose. I like someone stirriing the pot of political correctness. Go for it, The Donald.

Increase Obama's negatives with all of his talking over the next couple of months.
Give other candidates the courage to speak truthfully and clearly about the situation we are in.
Get people to imagining how it would be if we had a president who didn't actively hate the country.
And (drum roll) get people to imagine a first lady with some class and good taste.
I am waiting for Trump to ask about the scar. He hasn't touched that one yet, and I think that issue is every bit as mysterious and important as the birth certificate.

One more thing, as I am hawt in more ways than one, dudes, the GOP has got to get past their namby-pants ninnyhammer polite crap in only promoting elite Senators or Governors. I voted for Rick Scott in Florida, as what the heck, let's see what a businessman can do for a change with failing budgets and stuff that career politicians promote. When he screws up royally, I will be the first in line to say, "oopsie" but, come on, Bill McConnell is the best the GOP could do? Keep in mind, as well, my little monkeys, Rubio was also the dark horse in this race and I think he rocks and I voted happily and often for him.
The second thing is this: no dang GOP or conservative can freaking nit-pick after the primary is done and on the books in 2012 or I will make your life a living hell. Just freaking get behind whoever this person or kumquat is and vote against Obama. That is (maybe) all.

Ryan/Rubio 2012.
Imagine Ryan debating The Won on the economy. Rubio debating Joe on anything (heck, I could debate Joe). The two of them would clean their clocks, sweep them out, and sew this up, and bring back American "exceptionalism" which, I think, Rubio coined. Yet...they "don't have experience." Wednesday is the day that the paypal transfers clear into Ace's bank account.
By Friday afternoon, he'll be fully dehydrated and out of cocaine again. The past 36 hours a blur, his pelt matted with vomit and feces - some his own.
His need for sleep will be great, but not as great as his need to feed...come Saturday morning he'll barely have enough money to buy a ticket to see the $5 matinee of 'The Adjustment Bureau'. But he will have a shopping cart filled with aluminum cans, newspaper and the mismatched shoes of a Hobo to barter for his large Popcorn and medium Sprite at the concession stand.
On Sunday, he'll find an attractive pile of trash in which to sew his seed. Once again, he'll rest needing only to tan the Hobo hide from this weekend's hunt to complete another week.
He will greet us no later than noon on Monday when the cycle starts anew.

So, on comes Palenty, who says "I believe that the president was born in the US." Or Huckabee comes on and talks about how he has some things in common with liberals, as surprised as they might be. Or Gingrich shows up and everyone remembers him on the couch with Pelosi.
And then Trump comes on, and he is the ONLY one talking about what that guy on the couch was wondering about.

Police arrested Robert Richard Titcomb, 49, of Waialua on suspicion of prostitution Monday night. He allegedly offered money for sex near the intersection of South Street and Pohukaina Street at about 9:40 PM.
Titcomb and the President have been close friends since high school. The two are frequently seen golfing and dining together when the Obama family visits Hawaii. http://tinyurl.com/3tb9dq7

His fab cabinet and czars are made up of donors, people he owes for bundling his probable illegal funding to get him where he is, and socialists who will help him bring us down to third-world status. Only Huckabee is close to him in sptaneous glibness, and if I had to choose between Huckabee and Trump, well, that is easy.
Fearless? I don't know, but he feels he has nothing to lose. Is he sincere? I don't know. Is he a trojan horse for the Democrats to poison the Republican primary race?
How could the Republican primaries get worse? Huckabee SECOND?
That should bother people a lot more than Trump. At least Trump knows the value of a dollar and won't go all in for some Socialist -collectivist scam such as Obamacare.

When Daniels is faced with opposition he does not know how to handle it. He emboldened the Dems by criticizing his own party legislators publicly. Stupid stupid. He didn't get his agenda pushed through and he allowed the minority party to hold his entire legislature hostage. Has his education reform passed yet?
The contrast between Walker and Daniels - or even Christie and Daniels - has not helped draw support to Mitch. He's losing ground to Pawlenty, for pity's sake.

True for me too, the question is who will those damn squishy indies vote for?
I dont think anyone could have beat Obama in 08. NOBODY.
disagree, yes Obama was the fav to win and yes there was a recession and unpopular President hanging around our necks, but yet Mac who ran one of the worst campaigns I've seen got 48% of the vote, almost half the states, and put up a Hell of a fight in swing states like FL & OH, and even won the usual bellwhether of MO. Plus, until the financial meltdown that lead to palin being pushed out of the spotlight to allow her to defend herself, Mac's inconsistent message on why to vote against Obama, and so on and so forth of Mac's many mistakes- Obama was losing to Mac after a pretty damn good RNC (albeit the last day was a downer) that broke TV ratings for a convention watched-more then Obama's stadium filled w/ zombies telecast.
Polls clearly showed that had the GOP turnout and the moderates in the GOP not given Obama a chance (not a majority but a good portion of moderate GOP leaning voters went to Obama), Obama would have lost in a close one (to be fair who's not to say he may have still pulled it out, margin of fraud and all). In the end, Obama was much more beatable then he should have been in that bad a GOP year but the GOP was unexcited and Mac didn't fight hard enough. It will be diff. in 2012

Whoever runs against the unicorn man is going to have to have the heart of a lion...it will be a potential career ender: either the campaign or the presidency or both, and yet we can't afford to not have that person step forward. What we really need are more no-chance, unelectable candidates engaging in a vanity run out of their belief that no venue could possibly be complete without the awesome awesomeness of their presence and completely unique platform.
I mean, we only have Trump, Bachmann, Gingrich, Ron Paul, and Cain so far. It would be a shame if the nominee had to get more than 10% of the vote in any given state to win it. Besides, they should only need 10 seconds each to answer a debate question; any more and there wouldn't be time for all 18 candidates to have a fair chance to resond.

Nice try, junior, but I remember watching Reagan campaign for Goldwater, so don't try teaching your Daddy to suck eggs.
Republicans may nominate whoever they wish, but the general election is going to go to whomever wins the most electoral votes, which means winning a lot of states. Alone, the Republicans don't have the votes to win the election. They have to capture a portion of the middle. Who can do that?
Trump may not be your "brand" of Republican, but it is just possible that he may win a national election IF (a big if) he wins the primaries and is strong going into the general election. That's a long road to hoe.
Trump isn't my brand of Republican either, but it is also a question of winning. Somebody has to win, it's not about purity or avoiding losing. Somebody has to go out and WIN.
Dear Sarah has too many negatives, period. She's a find lady, but she could not win the general election. Two years as governor of Alaska and mayor of Wasilla. Really? I'd vote for her if she was the Republican running against Obama, but she won't get that far.

Who else do we have?
Christie isn't running. Ryan isn't running. Daniels has shown himself to be a squish. Palin and Bachmann probably can't win. Pawlenty's a milquetoast, Romney's a big-gvoernment moderate, and Huckabee is a nice guy Christian in the mold of W., who will lead with his heart and not his head. Ron Paul is nuts.
As Monty notes every day, we're doomed. We need a person of action to help fight our huge structural financial problems. Trump is famous for never having a meeting longer than 5 minutes, whereas the Won has voted present for more than 2 years. I think Trump's a patriot who will both respect our military while disentagnling us from some of the nonproductive crap we're doing now. Trump is energetic and decisive--I like that. He may be socially moderate or liberal, but he strikes me as a Christie type--he's not so dogmatic about his social beliefs that they'll affect his fiscal decisions.
The birther stuff is a distraction, but I admire his cojones for bringing it up. Can you imagine any of these other cowards bringing it up? Can you imagine the sensation if Trump shows up at a debate and drops a parcel on the podium: "There's my birth certficate, complete medical records, college transcripts, passport information, social security information, etc. I've shown you mine, now you show me yours."
People respond to charisma; that's how we ended up with the current dope in chief. Do any of the Republican contenders (who are actually running) besides Bachmann and Palin have charisma in any measurable quantity?

Paul Ryan is a brilliant and hard working guy. I wish he would run. I'd crawl over broken glass for him. But he's not running. Period. He said so, and unless he is drafted in a brokered party convention (which hasn't happened in LONG TIME), he will not be the Presidential nominee for the Republicans.
Also beware of the madness that is Ron Paul. If he runs as an independent, he'll have JESSE VENTURA as his running mate. Ventura has been talking this up on the talking head shows the last few days, and while it is the madness of Jesse, who knows what is going on behind the scenes? And Ron Paul as an independent is the prescription for Obama getting re-elected. He only has to peel off 4-5% of the Republican/Independent vote to hand the re-election to Obama.
If this election is total bullshit, which is the way it is starting to look, then why not have a major league bullshitter in Donald Trump? If the Republicans hold the House and capture the Senate, the real power will be in the Congress anyways. Most of the Party stalwarts will never trust Trump, but you never know.

@225, I was all a-flutter over Mitch Daniels until he 1) called for a "truce" on social issues and 2) defended the Indiana fleebaggers.
It's one thing to be a socially moderate to liberal person like Chris Christie, who ended up defunding Planned Parenthood because the state couldn't afford it. It's another to be a social conservative and abandon the field before you even get there--that way lies George W. Bush and Huckabee, and the desire to be "nice." Running away from the debate before it even begins is exactly the opposite of what Trump's currently doing. The fleebagger stuff is just contempt for the rule of law and contemptible. Daniels is great fiscally, but he's lost me.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - One of President Obama's closest friends is scheduled to appear at Honolulu District Court next month, after he allegedly solicited sex from an undercover officer posing as a prostitute.

Empire of Jeff 2012.
Look, I figure I did already vote for Palin in 2008, so I would obviously do so again. That said, I do not believe she could win, no matter how much I like her. She started the war, and for that I am forever grateful. I think she should be like Rush Limbaugh and make money while stating opinion.
Post 2008, lessons to be learned, as time is short on the Mayan calendar: do not divide the party after the primary in a big pout, or stay home on your self-righteous couch on election day 2012. If you do, don't come whining when socialists take over worse than they have.
The FIRST lesson the GOP needs to learn is to stop being so elitist (re: "experience" or "gravitas") and to find someone with cohones. Yes, Alan West would fit that ticket quite well. Personally, in another universe where Americans ruled, a Bolton/Wes 2012t ticket might do the trick of stopping some of these radical Islamists in their yak tracks.

I would argue he just did stake his career on it. He comes from a lib union district and, while they've thus far been supportive of his reforms, they might start wondering now. RE TARP, he thought it was necessary at the time because the markets were seizing-up and about to spiral due not only to economic factors but also b/c Bernanke and Paulson were out there creating hysteria. As for GM bailouts, I've heard his explanation for that but it was likely to please his district.
Still, I don't think you have any reason to worry that he'll steal Palin's thunder. She did want him to run, but he didn't and he's repeatedly said he won't. So why all the fuss if he isn't about to jump into the race?

Posted by: Jackwagon
Daniels is a smart guy who has done well in Indiana. He has substance. We need 50 smart men and women as governors doing what he has done. But Indiana is not a paradigm of the United States. There will not be the time or the atmosphere for America to "get to know" Mitch Daniels. I wish him well. He would probably be a good President. But he has to WIN. Nobody is going to give anybody this job. The MFM will do their best to make him look like a nobody.
Consider again what an empty suit Obama was and is, and how the uncritical and pandering Media campaigned for him. This is one way to win, regardless of how bad it has been for the country. Appearance and the perceived image can count as much or more than substance. Whoever wins (if possible) against Obama will have to fight through the anti-buzz created by the MFM.

The problem for any Republican thinking about running is the knowledge that the playing field is totally tilted left. The MFM is going to savage them in small and large ways. The reporting is going to be stilted and all the good will lay unreported.
That's the problem. In a debate, that was fairly administered, almost all of the potential Republican candidates should be able to put the beat down on Chicago Jesus on his fucked up record alone.
However, it won't be fair, will it? No. Now, if you are a Republican Candidate with maybe something to hide, a dwi, a little sword fight action in band camp, a little weed and whatever, you KNOW the MFM is going to lower the boom on you in October right before the election.
Trump, on the other hand, doesn't have to worry about this. All the shitty things about him are already out there. I'm not sugessting that he is a good candidate. I will say that I will vote for Satan if it means the end of Obama.

The last presidential election broke all previous models, so it's hard to compare it to a particular situation. Though I do have to wonder what the turn-out would have been had more conservatives voted. Met some people who either didn't vote or went 3rd party; didn't see that as much back in '04.

though I can argue a case why he'll probably be re-elected, History is not on his side.
1. He'll lose votes from 08 and only 2 Presidents have been re-elected to a 2nd term, w/ less votes in their re-election then their 1st election (Madison, Wilson)
2. less then 50% of our Presidents have been re-elected, even when you count VP sucessors who got an elected term it's less then 50%
3. other then 1801-1825 we haven't had 3 straight 2 termers and at that time it was pratically a 1 party system. we're due for a 1 term President.
4. Only 1 President in recorded History has been re-elected w/ 7%+ unemployment (Reagan)

My fellow American's it's true, I have prospered and failed and prospered and failed many times in my life. Did I let that stop me? No, I learned what wouldn't work through many hours of hard effort and started again.
By many measures I am a rich man. It's true I have a great deal of money, BUT what I really have is a wealth of knowledge, that I earned the hard way. Who better to take our present poor economy and turn it around? Do you want to continue the unchanging and hopeless policies of President Obama?

so 4 more years not a big deal to you?
Currently as I see it Palin has the best chance of winning the general.
huh which one is it, can she win or do you not care if she can? give some of what you're smoking if a woman who polls against Obama worst then loony uncle Paul can win. and no that's not just any poll, that's a RASMUSSEN poll you know the one that got the lection on the nose idk every time.

BBS: No argument, but I think it is even worse than that--they don't even understand basic Constitutional limitations placed on the three branches and have andicated their responsibility to we the people. I think the Libyan misadventure is a big freaking mistake, but I (futilely) expect my Congressmen and Senators to take a stand on such an action. I would feel better (but not by much) if they gave a rousing endorsement to the O's approach to limited kinetic action-then they would at least have made a documented stand on something.

I wouldn't credit his campaigning unless he or his people are doing something REALLY brilliant behind the scenes. There is just no objective criticism of him based on objective reality.
Everything he does is magic, even when it's wrong. This mess in Libya- ANY other President I've seen in my life would get raked over the coals for not getting a resolution from Congress for this. But not Obama. Hell's bells, Rand Paul only musters 10 votes for a resolution stating principle. This situation is ROTTEN. How do you continually pierce and talk over the wall of noise and curtain of stupidity that has descended over this country?

They would do nothing to advance conservatism and would actually harm it and give us another liberal. The O is already neutered with a GOP house. I'm not going to give my first pres vote to someone like them. If it's pawlenty propbably. RESOLVED, That Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following article of impeachment to be exhibited to the Senate:
ARTICLE OF IMPEACHMENT EXHIBITED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN THE NAME OF ITSELF AND OF ALL OF THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AGAINST BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF ITS IMPEACHMENT AGAINST HIM FOR HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS IN USURPING THE EXCLUSIVE PREROGATIVE OF CONGRESS TO COMENCE WAR UNDER ARTICLE 1, SECTION 8, CLAUSE 11 OF THE CONSTITUTION.
ARTICLE I
In his conduct of the office of President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has usurped the exclusive power of Congress to initiate war under Article I, section 8, clause 11 of the United States Constitution by unilaterally commencing war against the Republic of Libya on March 19, 2011, declaring that Congress is powerless to constrain his conduct of the war, and claiming authority in the future to commence war unilaterally to advance whatever he ordains is in the national interest. By so doing and declaring, Barack Hussein Obama has mocked the rule of law, endangered the very existence of the Republic and the liberties of the people, and perpetrated an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor as hereinafter elaborated.
I. THE IMPEACHMENT POWER
1. Article II, Section IV of the United States Constitution provides: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
2. According to James MadisonÂ’s Records of the Convention, 2:550; Madison, 8 Sept., Mr. George Mason objected to an initial proposal to confine impeachable offenses to treason or bribery:
Why is the provision restrained to Treason & bribery only? Treason as defined in the Constitution will not reach many great and dangerous offences. Hastings is not guilty of Treason. Attempts to subvert the Constitution may not be Treason as above defined--As bills of attainder which have saved the British Constitution are forbidden, it is the more necessary to extend: the power of impeachments.
3. Delegates to the Federal Convention voted overwhelmingly to include “high crimes and misdemeanors” in Article II, Section IV of the United States Constitution specifically to ensure that “attempts to subvert the Constitution” would fall within the universe of impeachable offences. Id.
4. Alexander Hamilton, a delegate to the Federal Convention, characterized impeachable offenses in Federalist 65 as, “offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or in other words, from the violation or abuse of some public trust. They are of a nature which with peculiar propriety may be denominated political, as they relate chiefly to injuries done to society itself.”
5. In 1974, the House Judiciary Committee voted three articles of impeachment against then President Richard M. Nixon for actions “subversive of constitutional government.”
6. Father of the Constitution, James Madison, observed that, “Of all the enemies of public liberty, war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other…. War is the true nurse of executive aggrandizement.”
7. James Madison also instructed that “no nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”
8. The exclusive congressional power to commence war under Article I, section VIII, clause XI of the Constitution is the pillar of the Republic and the greatest constitutional guarantor of individual liberty, transparency, and government frugality.

Another term for Obama and we will not recover. We will have no allies except for the radical Muslims who will no doubt be emigrating here in droves. Israel might end up as a grease spot on the Mediterranean. Obama will consider his mission finished when we are all wandering the landscape barefoot and in rags, fighting for scraps with the dogs.
Young people think they are invincible. I remember this feeling, for I was once young, too. Your reponsiblity as a citizen is to defend this nation. If Palin can do it, I am all for her. But if she does not get the nominations, you are going to have to be a man, suck it up, and vote for whoever the nominee is.
It is your duty. If you fail in this, you fail your country.

OT- That Yahoo news article in the sidebar about Obama cavalierly suggesting that you trade in your vehicle if gas prices are too high. I know Obama said that - I read about it elsewhere. However, the Yahoo article does not have that quote in it at this time. If it ever had the quote, then it's been edited out.

As a news source, Yahoo is kind of like MSNBC. They have a long history of lefty bias, "disappearing" news stories, and passing off partisan propaganda as news.
I hate going to my ISP's web page because the "news items" that scroll on the front page and you can't get rid of read like the Workers World Weekly.

As for the birther issue in general, it is mostly useful as a culling tool for other Republican wannabees when the media tries to get them to denounce the 'crazy birthers'. If a candidate can't handle an easy trap question like that they should go home and try again later. The only acceptable responses are to either go all in like Trump or answer with something like this: "How the hell should I know? You wanna know, go ask Obama since he is the only one in a position to answer the question and you are more likely to get an interview with him than I am. If you asked me to put $100 on it right now I'd probably take the 'born in HI' side unless you were laying pretty good odds.... of course there would be no way of settling the bet and some people have a problem with that uncertainty. But since you brought it up I have a few questions for you, why does asking the question make the questioner a racist, why has Obama spent over a million dollars avoiding the issue and why are you water carriers running around asking people like me about this issue when we are in no position to speak with any knowledge on the issue?"

You're young right? I hope you get a good job to pay for all this debt even though under Obama 25% of your peers can't find one, any job. By the time you reach 30 100% of our budget will go to pay interest on the debt and entitlements. You know what that means? It means your taxes at your McDees job will be about 50% so the government can fund the other crap.
So you sit home and play video games on election day and then get to work because I will be retired by the time you are in your 30's and you will owe me.

Both, it takes about 28 days for concrete to fully cure. All that time the water it absorbed while being mixed is being squeezed out by the curing process. As the concrete gets denser there is no more room for water.

HONOLULU (AP) -- One of President Barack Obama's close friends has been arrested in Honolulu on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute.
Honolulu police say Robert "Bobby" Titcomb was one of four men arrested in an undercover sting operation late Monday and released on $500 bail.
The 49-year-old Titcomb attended Punahou School in Honolulu with Obama. The two often golf, play basketball, go to the beach and dine together when the president returns home to Hawaii for vacation.

Trump has supported Clinton and then Mccain/Palin, yes that is true, there were many dems who supported Mccain/Palin, there are many former dems like Hillbuzz (and voters like me) who support Palin, there are no circles of exclusiveness here of people who are dems and supported Mccain/Palin in 2008. In the general in 2012, there will be 2 sides, for Barry or against Barry. I hope people remember that.

Why? A lot depends on where she lives. I'm in California - my vote doesn't count for shit either way, as Cali will always go communist. If she's in a similar state, so what if she doesn't vote. It also doesn't matter if she's in some place like Utah, that will pretty much always go GOP. Her vote only matters if she's in a swing state.

It matters for other reasons other than just winning. The fucking dems will use a TWO vote victory as a mandate. You need to happen what happened in Wisconsin last night, they threw everything they had into this fight and the best they could come up with is a virtual tie. A much more even vote tally might have knocked "some" of the fucking smug look from the jug eared fuck's face in '08 had the vote been much closer, but a lot of conservatives stayed home. You have to stand and be counted.

How so? Not voting (actively not voting, as opposed to simply blowing it off) is simply stating that you have no confidence in either candidate to do a good job. If we get the standard choice of SOCIALISM NOW! vs. Better Managed Socialism Soon!, I have no right to complain if I don't vote for one of the Socialists?

There a buttload of cement types:Cement used in construction is characterized as hydraulic or non-hydraulic. Hydraulic cements (e.g., Portland cement) harden because of hydration, chemical reactions that occur independently of the mixture's water content; they can harden even underwater or when constantly exposed to wet weather. The chemical reaction that results when the anhydrous cement powder is mixed with water produces hydrates that are not water-soluble. Non-hydraulic cements (e.g., lime and gypsum plaster) must be kept dry in order to retain their strength.
Since Quickcrete is Portland based I guess it would work okay. Hydraulic cement was only re-discovered somewhere around the late 1700 - early 1800s.

Obama's family has also attended barbeques at Titcomb's beachside home in Waialua.
Titcomb and Obama last spent time together in Hawaii during Obama's most recent vacation over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. The White House had no comment. <=
Titcomb has not publicly responded to the charges, and he wasn't immediately available for comment.

1. Trump being a businessman has likely donated to and offered public support for many a Democrat in the past. It's analogous to paying protection money to Fat Tony and Jimmy Two Times.
2. Trump does have name recognition. Everyone knows who he is, which in a way works for him because there aren't any surprises.
3. I do believe that a big part of the reason that Trump shows well in this poll is that he's kicking Obama in the nuts. He's the only potential candidate who is doing this. That makes the news and it also appeals to people who despise Obama.
4. Trump can afford to kick Obama in the nuts, literally. He doesn't need to run and he doesn't need to be elected so he has no reason to be a pussy like any of the others. Politics is everything to those guys, they have nothing else, so they have to follow the conventional wisdom.
5. People know that Trump isn't afraid to say what he thinks and I think this is very appealing because no one trusts politicians.
I doubt he will run, he'd have to take too big of a pay cut, I don't think he's anywhere near the ideal candidate, I don't know anything about the rest of his politics, but I hope he stays in for a while because at the very least he will say things that a lot of people are thinking. In doing so, he may also embolden one or two of the candyasses who are also going to run.
If the choice were Trump vs. Obama I wouldn't even think twice.

So again, when I have a choice between a socialist and a socialist, I am required to vote for one of them? Sorry, but no. If neither candidate will act in the best interests of the nation, will not follow the constitution, will not hold the government responsible to the people, then no - I will not vote. If you vote for limited socialism, you're still condoning it. If you voted for fewer liberties taken away than the other guy, you're still condoning it.

Trump has always been a liberal democrat in the past. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. Honestly, as someone else on this thread suggested, I believe he is trying to help Hillary, who he supported in 2008. Who would benefit most from Obama being tossed out? Hillary's favorability rating is still in the 60s... Maybe Trump is just doing her dirty work... That's my theory anyway.
There is way too much liberalism in Trump's past for conservatives to actually consider him. I am floored that anyone is actually falling for his "newly converted" routine. It was only a few months ago when he donated to Rahm Emanuel's mayoral campaign. Trump has a history of supporting universal health care. He has called himself a dem and said the economy does better under dems.
Trump told Human Events that he would solve the deficit by getting other countries who owe us money to pay up. Not one word about cutting spending. Does he not know how much money WE owe China?? If we elect this fool, we deserve what we get.
