Uncle Delivers Smackdown to Facebook "Thug" Nephew. [dri]
— Open Blogger

The video below the jump shows an uncle laying down the law to his nephew who fancied himself a hard core gangsta thug on Facebook. The uncle obviously did not take kindly to his nephew's boasting and made him fess up to lying about his street cred with the aid of a leather belt. If only more adults would take control of their children they might be less inclined to beat up on transsexuals in McDonalds restaurants. After the beat down the uncle issues the line "now put that on your f**king (facebook) wall". Classic.... NSFW due to language. H/t Demitria from DC

1 My mom used to whoop my ass like that when I screwed up...that was 45 years ago...

When she was really pissed, she used the buckle end of the belt...it was always in the laundry room where my brother I an took our "schooling"

Mom and I had a  great Easter breakfast today...she came over to my place, and I cooked...Eggs Benedict with roasted tomato and mushrooms...Fresh OJ...sliced fruit

Thank god for mom and that belt

Somebody buy that Uncle a beer.  He just may have kept his nephew from becoming one of those silly negroes that are terrorizing the Black community, and he just may be sitting in audience during nephew's commencment.

5 Thank you Uncle. Not that you ran a belt across this youngsters hide but because you did not flinch when he needed it. The kid "needed" his uncle and the elder more wiser man did not let him down.

13 That uncle was a man! He 's not an uncle, he's a father! Good for him! Now, the government would charge this father for abuse for correcting his son! The man inflicted pain on his son's hide with a belt. Pain that will last a few minutes to a few hours.. but it can spare the kid from a lifetime of pain. If only life gave us spankings for our stupidity we would be so lucky. This uncle possibly saved this kid's life. Prison, drugs, crime, depression, bancruptsy, financial problems, divorce.. all of those things hurt so much more than a spanking.

If this happened roughly 10 million times more often each year, this country would be a LOT better off.  Kudos to this man.

I think back to what Bill Cosby said.  Spank your child every day.  Even if you don't know what he did, he does.

20 I used to hear those dread words at least once a week: "Wait until your father gets home." I would spend the rest of the time until he got home with jelly legs. Off would come the belt and the chase would commence. I hated his skinny black belt, it hurt like hell. I could handle the wider brown belt, but the skinny black one was like getting hit with a cattle prod. I still buy him brown everything to this day and think he is the finest man I have ever known.

Parenting tip #241

To demonstrate the sincerity of your discipline, tell your child something like "I will take away your X-box for a month", "I will take away the car keys for a week", or, as detailed in the video above, "I will fuck your muthafuckin' ass".

When I was young I got the belt and learned several lessons the hard way. I don't know what I expected as a parent but it definately wasn't what I got. I was blessed with 3 good children. Never once did I ever have to raise a hand to them. All 3 were active socially and in sports and went on to get good college educations. I would have corrected them if they needed it but all 3 were so eager to please that we simply never had any problems distinguishing right from wrong.

Yeah, ok. I hadn't considered that he was using his own belt and that's why the pants were dropping.

My dad had a paddle that hung on the wall in the Laundry Room. It had "Board of Education" written on it. I was the youngest of 5 kids and an observant child, so I didn't get paddled with it often.

43 My Dad AKA "You-don't-work-you-don't-eat" used his belt a time or two. Then! He'd sit down have a nice dinner and sleep very peacefully that night. Ack! But the greatest part about the spankings he administered is now that I'm grown...I call him and tell him he did alright at that parenting thing. Made that call more and more during my son's teenage years.

44 I'm taking bets on whether that uncle ends up arrested and prosecuted for schooling his nephew

Posted by: Jones at April 25, 2011 06:53 AM (cUNcx)

45 My step-brother and I had identical opportunities.

My dad used to tan my butt with a belt or a switch when I needed it.  My step-brother was protected by his mother, and was never disciplined when he got out of line.  As kids, my step-brother and I shared a room.
The police would come by to arrest him for selling drugs, possession, burglary or the like.  On one of those nights after the police took my step-brother away,  Dad told me that if I ever got involved in any of that stuff, he would break my fucking arm.

That was 35 years ago.  My dad is gone now. To this day, I've never taken an illegal drug or committed a crime.  I was able to become a Doctor and have had my own small business for 20 years.  My step-brother has spent most of his life strung out and homeless, in prison or on probation or parole.

I thank God that my Dad loved me and whipped my butt when I deserved it.  Spare the rod, spoil the child.

46 It's called "being raised right". Quality knows no race, creed or color. Good people want good for the people they care about. That video was not an exercise in violence. It was an exercise in humiliation. One problem with our modern culture is that we have removed shame as a disciplinary component.

Posted by: BigDaddy1964 at April 25, 2011 07:10 AM (pOcKt)

47 Good for the uncle! He is a man that has most likely seen the pain and suffering inflicted by gangs on their own neighborhoods. An early death is the inevitable outcome. If it were up to me, the uncle would be recognized for excellence in parenting.

As for the assholes in CPS, concentrate on the real abusers and stop believing that all corporal punishment is evil.

Ok, how many webcams can pan around the room following the action?

This reminds me of the bad TV episodes where they're watching something on a security camera that has the ability to follow somebody from room to room.

Maybe the nephew had a friend laying on the desk with a camera?

Or, do I need to get me a new webcam?

Posted by: Spurwing Plover at April 25, 2011 07:55 AM (vA9ld)

53 Hell yes. My parents never did anything like this, but I got spanked a few times when I'd done something really, really stupid--which to be fair, I did quite a bit. (Playing with matches, for example.) At any rate, discipline was in effect, and it worked.

After spending four years in college surrounded by irresponsible dickweeds raised in the entitlement culture, I couldn't thank mom and dad enough. Go, Uncle Belt!

Right before dinner he'd tell me to expect a well deserved ass whippin' as soon as he finished eating .

55 The whole country would be a better place if more people had a good beatdown. It gives you a bit of perspective. My wifes younger brother is 26 and is a loser and still lives at home. I tell her that he has never had his ass kicked and that is what he needs, a good beatdown to give him some perspective. If you have never had your ass kicked you lack a basic life experience.
