— Ace The word "terrorism" comes not from me but from the professor -- she asks what the threshold level of public participation is required for "terrorism" to become "revolution" -- that is, using a "history is written by the victors" mindset, she is saying that the only difference between terrorism and revolution is the popularity of it, and she wants to know, ballpark, how many they need on board to have their terrorism categorized as "revolution."
Not that she's saying to hold off until that point, mind you; she just wants to know, for public relations purposes, how many she has to sign up for terrorism to get the more popular classification.
All the gentlemen scholars in attendance here are talking up "power coming from the barrel of a gun" and violent overthrow of democracy.
More of the Violent Instruction: Anecdotes demonstrate this isn't hypothetical or just talking about violence.
Guardian Writer Threats Violence In England: She claims that some members of her little monoculture will resort to special activities if "silenced" -- but no one's "silencing" her. What she means is that if she isn't obeyed, violence will ensue.

I've talked with any number that see no real difference between George Washington and Osama bin Laden, for example.

Awesome!
Not really. The problem with power from the barrel of the gun is that it is like hang onto a tiger by its tail: you best not let go.

In the class, the Professors not only advocate the occasional need for violence and industrial sabotage, they outline specific tactics that can be used. As one of our colleagues pointed out, its the matter-of-factness of it all that is so disturbing.

Minor quibble of semantics -
Here or there? Here can be interpreted as here-here, as in AoSHQ here. Swapping there for here would make it plain that the gentlemen scholars are over there. Or just leave out the word entirely.
Would M&Ms ever be mistaken for gentlemen scholars?

I've yet to meet a Leftist who doesn't find that video funny. The sheeple - the vote-the-party I-don't-actually-know-what-the-hell-is-going-on Dem voters may recoil, but the dyed-in-the-wool Leftists find nothing amiss with it.
It's also why they don't really have a problem with Islam. Islam has its way, lots of people die, easier to save Mother Nature, and social engineering works best when the gene pool is limited, so it's a twofer.
It's also why I am heavily armed, and won't be a pleasant person to deal with when the goons are out looking for petrol in the wastelands. I've got a family to look out for, after all.

Exactly. None of them would ever really do anything they are talking about because it would require something akin to 'work', but they really would like to sit on one of those boards making the 'big decisions'.
Leftists crave power for its own sake and believe they are entitled to it because of their 'intellect' and 'moral superiority'. They don't like the idea of working for it, so they love to sit in classrooms and have wet dreams about blowing up factories and killing CEO's. With the 'oppressors' out of the way, they'd have power.

Liberals consider themselves 'vicariously downtrodden' because of their strong empathy with those oppressed. That is why they are justified in using 'revolutionary' tactics.

Actually I think that this sort of talk is just a distraction because there was already a socialist coup. They took over the country without firing a shot and they know it.
They expose crap like this to get conservatives worked up and it helps take the spotlight off the truth that the revolution was televised and nobody noticed.

Kind of true. These people provide the 'flank' that makes 'liberals' look like moderates.
If John wants to blow up a factory, he makes Jim who wants to heavily tax and redistribute the profits look like a moderate. Radicals provide cover to liberals by making them liberals like part of the political mainstream.

I recently had a conversation with a lady restocking the milk shelf, and noted that milk in my area had gone from $1.99/gal to (now) $2.59/gal.
She sympathized, and couldn't understand why prices were rising so quickly.
I said "If you have to truck it in, you are paying higher fuel costs to get it here, but probably not as much increase for the actual product -- just their energy costs, like tractor fuel, etc".
ERGO -- Obama did, in that sense, also promise higher food prices. Movie tickets are another thing.

No freakin way I would step into that mess even if I thought it was a good idea.
So yeah.. they are all talk. But still, it would be fun if they started some half-assed revolution. I don't think the country is in any mood to put up with them like during the viet nam war. It would get very ugly, very fast.

Oh and on the subject of those gas pump signs. Don't, it is a trap. The quote is bogus and we will get called on it. Glenn Beck played video of Obama saying "Under my plan electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket." over and over for a year. Then he suddenly stopped playing the video and started just saying the quote was "Under my plan energy prices will necessarily skyrocket." Last week he must have been called out on it because he has went back to playing the video with the correct quote. Not that the Glenn's version isn't Truthier but we don't want to get suckered.

I doubt you will see this, but here's the scoop.
Whatever someone identifies themselves as is what they refer to them as.
So.. if you are a 6 foot 6 inch male with a beard, hairy arms, etc. but identify yourself as a "female", then you are a woman.. a she. And, it doesn't matter what stage of transition you are in.
So, those LGBLT sites should be taken with a big grain of salt.
And hey.. not that I am unsympathetic to the inner struggles that people with gender identification disorders go thru.. it really must be fucking whacked to have to deal with that. That's besides the point.

These Marxists think we're afraid of them? Guess again. Some of us welcome the opportunity to rid the world of their stench.
A man fighting for liberty will always be a more formidable warrior than one fighting to deprive others of it.
The "revolution" of which these aged marxists and their ideological descendants dream will never come to pass because a free people will never choose to enslave themselves.
With the exception of the insane, only someone who is already a slave can be fooled into embracing slavery, and then only because he does not know what freedom is.
The Bolsheviks in Russia succeeded because the people were so accustomed to slavery under the autocracy of the czar that they had nothing better to compare Marxism to. Without knowing freedom, they were unable to recognize further enslavement promoted as liberation until it was too late.
The same cannot be said about the US.

But these Marxist academics are working tirelessly to gradually convince generations of American schoolchildren and college students that freedom is evil; that free people make bad decisions, consume too much, and need to be controlled for their own good and the good of the planet. It will be a bloodless revolution, as freedom-loving people will eventually become extinct. The Long March Through the Institutions is paying off.
