I saw the headline and imagined she'd be a bit of a beast as exhibitionist women usually are. (That's a link to a picture of Professor Muffy McDildoCooch at Northwestern.)
But she's not. This story is not really interesting or even all that political -- I really don't have an opinion on it, and can't pretend I do -- so I guess I'm just linking it because she's cute and strips down to her skivvies in the video interview on the NY Daily News site.
Oh, I guess there is an angle: See, no one had to pay $60,000 a year to see this. Nor did I have to put on a professor's cap and "instruct" anyone on how to watch a cute girl strip to her underpants.
See? All of that happened without any formal pedagogy behind it.
Weird but true: People are interested enough in sex (and any number of pleasurable activities, like watching, no judgments, Survivor: Redemption Island) that we really do not have to issue academic credits for this.

Guess its a better way to spend 150 and feel better about it afterwords than going to the local strip-club. And there is less chance of catching STDs.

"I'll give you a stay for seven (7) days IF you expedite your appeal to either the 11th circuit or the Supremes."
11th Circuit - conservative.
Going to the Supremes with the ruling from Vinson would be much tougher than the rulings from the other districts. And he's flat out stated that this is, indeed, an immediate invalidation for the 26 states in his case.

They'll just ignore it like they did the drilling moratorium contempt charges. They consider themselve above the law and only follow it when it is what they want.
Rush said that if they ignore it, then the 26 states in the suit can declare Obamacare null and void.
Posted by: runningrn at March 03, 2011 10:34 AM (ihSHD)
It'll be harder for them to pull this one off than the drilling moratorium.
They expect the states to be implementing ObamaCare and will threaten funding for not falling into line, which will be another court case and/or a reason to expedite the case to the USSC.

Posted by: runningrn at March 03, 2011 10:36 AM (ihSHD)
Naturally.
But:
1) They'll come before the Supremes with sanctions hanging.
2) Aetna, Blue Cross, & etc. aren't going to get 'governmental immunity'.
The permitorium is about government doing stuff. Tough to make them do stuff if they're willing to flout things.
Obamacare is mostly predicated on making private companies do stuff. (Although there's a hell of lot of new government too - and the end goal is to kill the companies off, granted.)

Just like their drilling moratorium is null and void. These assholes don't care. They believe themselves to be the royalty of the US and can do what they want.
I think that the states in this suit didn't file it to just ignore a ruling that benefits them. They cannot afford Obamacare (with the huge influx of people it's going to dump on state medicaid roles). I think they will act on this ruling, and even if Obama ignores it, they will not. States cannot print money, and a lot of them have balanced budget ammendments.

What if I don't know how to properly eat a bag of vending machine Skittles at 2:30 every day when I get tired of pretending to work? It's kinda tricky. Vending machines don't just give you that stuff for free. It's, like, all locked down and shit. Like I'm some sort of criminal and the vending machine thinks it's better than me or something. Fuck you, vending machine.
Also, I'd like to become semi-addicted to Coke and/or Pepsi, but I'm not sure of the proper way to drink several cans a day to get through my work-week. I pour it into my face, right? But not through my eye holes? Cause that really stings.
Lastly, how does pornography work? I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to do something with my dick ... but I'm not positive. It's confusing. Probably on account of all the sex-negativity.

I know you all will think I'm being catty, but there were several things that bothered me about her. First of all, the outfit she wore was so dull and drab, it was absolutely necessary that she take it off. Her necklace didn't match with the outfit, plus her bra straps were visible under her top (and the one on the right was twisted!) Also, you'd think that if you are going to strip for clients, you'd try and up your game a little. She could have at least worn a nice matching bra and panty set--the underwear looked old and tired and certainly was not attractive at all.

As much as I love that quote, I don't think anyone has determined who the author is. It's most certainly not Tytler. It might just be a notion that sounds good (because it's mostly true) without any historic attribution.
