Just got Home from the Grocery store. I almost crapped My pants. Tomatoe's $3.49LB, head of lettuce size of a softball, $1.79LB, so then I scratched my head, and the passed on the planned salad. Found some meat specials, but the appearance and sell before date freaked me out. Then I remembered about the soup special I caught about a month ago and with a grilled cheese, it will have to do. (let the other half bitch, I just say get a second job).

22 You know I just want to point out something that I've been thinking about.  If the president were a woman, hillary or even Sarah Palin, and the president was behaving the way BO is behaving, don't you tell me that snarky men all over the world wouldn't be blaming the behavior on the fact that the office holder is a woman and it could be that, "it's that time of the month", "she's preggers", "her hormones must be off", "she's in menopause", "she's not in menopause" ad infinitum.

and, looky here, the person with the behavior is a man.

24 Where are the Japan nuke site updates and experts?  I'm depending on Vic and his gang of nuke experts to let me know when it is fixed, so I can crawl out of my bunker.

Despite incredible quake and tsunami,

and  some (maybe prideful) foot dragging by a company that has lied and cheated for years

and storage of dangerous used rods in less than safe place and outside containment (instead of buried like ours)

It seems there is still almost no damage to anyone except MAYBE to a few of the workers.

Of course the news is run by Soros activists it would seem.  And even the Obama administration told Americans it is probably a good idea to buy potassium iodide tablets.  Then finally Obama comes out and said they don't expect any problem is the US (but you never know!).  Instead of saying it is goofy to worry about it, no way this will hit us.

So ... "Is it Safe?"

25 It is time brothers that we unite and demand valu rite for the copy we provide this blog.  Hours of defending it against trolls, suffering through flame wars, and the worst, stupid kitten pictures.

I say ORGANIZE NOW.

26 Do I really need to point out that Country is a completely different genre of music from Bluegrass? Yes, yes I apparently do.

Elwood: What kind of music do you usually have here?
Claire: Oh, we got both kinds. We got country *and* western.

29 and storage of dangerous used rods in less than safe place and outside containment (instead of buried like ours)

There are temporary SFP Spent Fuel Pools everywhere.  The rods need a few years underwater decay cooling before they're movable.  They don't immediately melt but even smokin hot can be way bad.

31 good point Dave .. I just read that 34 of 104 sites are designed with above ground storage.

Too bad Obama and Reid are blocking Yucca mountain as a safe place.  I wonder if the new designs put storage underground ... seems that must be the design of the other 70 plants.

33 New DOJ website is interesting: http://www.justice.gov/
Killed the red white and blue and replaced with black. Apropos.

Quote on masthead:
The common law is the will of mankind issuing from the life of the people.
C. Wilfred Jenkins - International Labour Organization.

Guess a quote from a Founding Father or an American for that matter would be a bit much to ask huh?

Additionally, one of the rotating banners reads:
Defending the Affordable Care Act:
The Affordable Care Act was enacted on March 23, 2010. This comprehensive health care reform law makes health insurance affordable for millions of Americans and protects them against potentially catastrophic medical expenses. This law has become the subject of several lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the provision requiring Americans who can afford it to maintain basic health insurance coverage. The Department is vigorously defending the law in these cases.

So, they don't care how the court already came down on this - but rather plan to defend it against the states. Our tax dollars at work.
