— Ace Maddow? Yeah, pretty bad, as she claims to be honest and "nice" as she traffics in absurd lies, slurs, and conspiracy theories. And always with that sidewider smirk. She seems to think everything is "snark."
Lawrence O'Donnell? Fake tv tough guy who, whoops!, missed his opportunity to demonstrate his courage in Vietnam?
Ed Shultz? Fat redneck cracker whose contribution to the national discourse consists chiefly of awkward sweating?
Al Sharpton? Absolutely, we much consider him, and we much, we much, we much.
But I gotta tell ya: It's Martin Bashir.
Honestly, he's the worst.

I would have to agree with you.
While the others are annoying in one way or another (and Sharpton is just downright cute!), Bashir is just teeming with hatred. It's actually creepy to watch.

While I do think he's a total douche, I honestly believe what he's doing is a schtick. I think he is a legitimate lefty, however I think he's being an over the top lefty on direction from MSNBC or he thinks it will increase his popularity with the MSNBC audience.
He strikes me as a Bill O'Reilly type in that he will say whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear, and whose real convictions lay closer to moving up the media ladder.

So the "wisdom" is that Obama will maybe win the election if the SCOTUS tosses Obamacare because the republicans won't have that issue to attack him with anymore.
Isn't that like Obama saying, "Sure I tried to rape you, but I was stopped by Johnny Law. You can't blame a guy for trying, right, baby?"

I keep reading more and more about the Elizabeth Warren scrunt's screed. Rush's words keep echoing: "Who, exactly on the left is there to compromise with?" When the mainstream position of the modern Democratic party is the Words of Warren, who the fuck is there on that side of the aisle that will be satisfied with anything less than the death of America as we used to know it? Which will, regrettably, they will tut-tut, include a few necessary deaths along the way.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Megyn Kelly. I just love her 10th grade mean girl routine. As a matter of fact, all of the fox news anchors look angry all the time. I mean real teeth-gnashing anger. No wonder you freaks love that channel.
For a little while there she was getting a little too mouthy but has returned to being firm and only a slightly mean girl without being over-bearing, and my adoration for her has been renewed.
I was thinking the other day that just as I had REALLY wanted them to give Brian Kilmeade a shot at the 5:00 slot, I would REALLY love them to give the 7:00 slot to Miss Kelly. They wouldn't even need a new show: Just plop her right down in Sheps seat and let her run.
It tickled me to read the other day that Roger Ailes keeps a "wary eye on" Shep.

Speaking of which, the last time I remember SNL being funny was as follows. The skit had the old doddering fool Charlie Rangel being interviewed by Rachel Maddow. It basically started out as follows. Rachel greets him and asks if he has time for a few questions. Rangel responds with "Yes, young man."
Good timing, good delivery.

Though I agree NJ needs Christie, I am not sure Christie will be reelected there. If they have any sense, he'll win a landslide.
I don't mind Christie running for president as well. There's room for more moderate Republicans. The frontrunning moderate today is Mitt Romney, who is not worthy of respect, simply as an unprincipled panderer.

Mika Bzzrzzezzziznzszkzi of The Morning Joe. The bubblehead reads talking points sent to her live, on-air, from the White House. I think that's even worse than Stephanopolous et al. getting their morning briefing from the White House and then going on air.
The other clowns are outrageously outraged for effect... like competing to wear the ugliest tie on Ugly Tie Day. They're characters playing to type and easily ignored because they're so wacky. It's the "pleasant, honest brokers" who keep a lower profile but still have a large soapbox who do the most damage. Case in point? Walter Cronkite. The face of news was two-faced in news. While Mika is no Cronkite, she's still going with subterfuge.

2) So by voting for Herman Cain the Tea Party is just hiding their racism
3) Herman Cain gets elected so now these racists are being "ruled" by another black president
4) They pull their support for Cain and Obama gets relected the current black president they hate because he is black
