— Gabriel Malor Remember that while the flee-baggers were hiding in Illinois, Wisconsin teachers were abandoning their classrooms to join protestors trashing the Capitol. In something of a role-reversal, the teachers were giving fraudulent sick notes to the schools to get out.
Some of the doctors giving out free sick notes were disciplined last week. But 10 more have gone unpunished:
The 10 additional doctors identified in the records, like some of the seven doctors reprimanded, used sick note form letters listing badgerdoctors@gmail.com as their contact information. The district cited that as grounds for declaring all notes from those doctors as fraudulent. When asked Friday why the state didn't investigate the additional doctors and if the state reviewed the school district's sick notes during its investigation, Gasper didn't directly answer the questions.
"We received hundreds of emails from concerned citizens seeking to bring this issue to our attention," Gasper said. "If new complaints arise, they will be responded to through the normal process, given a fair review and acted upon by the Medical Examining Board if they believe such action is warranted."
The State Journal is not naming the additional doctors because it could not be determined if they have been accused of any wrongdoing.
Uh huh. Don't hold your breath.

Based upon how professional and mature the Wisconsin state spparachiks have been over the course of this whole kerfuffle, I must say that this is entirely unexpected and out of character!
I would have expected jail time for the whistleblowers instead.

Speaking of Michigan...
Gov Snyder convinced the DOT and idiots in Detroit to scrap their plan for a $600M "light-rail" system that would "attract new people and businesses" and "spur economic activity" and lower greenhouse gases.
(Funny how every dollar the Democrats waste on stupid shit is great for both the environment and the economy, eh?)
Snyder suggested they instead improve the existing bus line.
btw, we all know that it would cost at least twice the projected $600M for the stupid Lyle Lanley train

I may have made up that second one.

Can you imagine the balls on these people.
Blowing $600M for a rail system in Detroit???
Apparently, the federal govt and Detroit has money to burn.
And if that's the case...Lower Our Goddam Taxes.

Hmm, it sure is funny that the left thinks that selective enforcement is just all kinds of cool, despite it being just a tad illegal.
Means, ends, justifying, some assembly required.

9 Kudos to my little sis who's a teacher up there and not only refused to participate in this nonsense, but has decided to withdraw her union membership.
Good for her, Lurker. .....Double kudos!

shows how much they take their responsibilty to taxpayers or their students seriously. (for the children is so yesteryear)
the Doctors, I actually did find their pitting themselves against taxpayers rather interesting. if not shameful.

Every one of those note-signers should lose their licenses. .....If they would do something like this, then they would do other unethical things too.
It's crap like this that raises the cost of malpractice insurance. And the cost gets passed on to the rest of us in higher medical costs.

Same deal in Colorado. I think 6 doctors were writing a high percentage of all the prescriptions. I listened to a conversation on a bus. One guy was saying it took him about 10 minutes to get a prescription from his Boulder gynocolgist.

26....But I just want to get the bastards for helping out liberals ruin our country. Am I wrong??
No you're not wrong, CoolCzech. ....They should lose their licenses for that alone, I was just trying to give some other basic reasons why that should happen.
If their ethics are disposable, then they have no business being doctors.

That's what they keep saying... Noticed some things.
-still a gas pipeline into the white house
-Obama paid off his credit cards
-his children don't use public education
-his children don't attend a school full of illegals.
-his family doesn't live in a neighborhood full of illegals
-his travels use natural resources and money in general like he is Brewster from Brewsters millions.

I was a young mother and my husband and I, at 18, didn't have a pot to piss in. We worked more than FT jobs, but didn't have anything to spare. Of course, at 18 and married, things like Hey, we can't afford a baby didn't really cross our minds.
Well, a really terrific Catholic hospital offered no cost or discounted Obstetrics and I qualified for discount services. All participants were required to attend a a group orientation about the program, and part of that orientation was instruction on proper hygiene.
28 years ago and I am still appalled at the thought that it had been shown necessary to tell people to wash their asses before going to the doctor.

Hows about that harsh punishment of Barry Bonds, eh? Thirty days home confinement. After Congressional hearings, millions spent on investigations, a full jury trial.........30 days home confinement. Boy, that had to sting, huh Barry?
The system sucks.

I used to wear perfumed lotion and powder and during one of my visits to the hospital during my pregnancy, the young doctor was making conversation while down there and commented that I smelled nice.
I knew immediately that he was mortified. There was all this tinkering with the gadgets down there and then suddenly he froze. I believe if there had been any way possible for him to shrivel and die he would have chosen to do so. When finally, perhaps 3 or 4 minutes later, he regained his composure, he closed up shop and got the hell out of there. I never saw him again.
I can't imagine how he asked to get off the rotation.
Posted by: Niedermeyer's Dead Horse at December 17, 2011 08:17 AM (piMMO)
Rotation?
Yep. Not an assigned OB but whoever was available when I arrived at the appointment. Well, that was early on. Nearer to the birth I had only one doctor.

Yeah they're not supposed to make comments like that, are they. This guy wasn't mortified at all. .....That's why it was creepy. I switched to a nice little old granny gynocologist after that.
