Evidently, once you get elected your sole purpose becomes raising money to get re-elected. So, we should only elect people who don't want to be there. Except that, when they get there, they change their minds and want to be re-elected. It's just so darn confusing.
Also, I almost forgot about graft, perks and power. They like that, too.

As for the cowards, They should ALL read Obama's speech from 2006 stating that raising the debt ceiling is a 'failure in leadership' and hurts 'the chilruns with debt' Every member in both houses repeat it ad nausium, just like Dems do.
