— Guest Blogger So the SCOAMF has a presser scheduled for 11 am. Forget him, let's make fun of his supporters instead. We make fun of these freaky protesters because we can.
Here you have someone named Xiaojie Liu, who we'll call the face of the Occupy Boston Movement. Dude sure looks like he won't be needing caffeine any time soon. His fellow anti-capitalists appear quite amused.

The Boston Herald has a story on the self-important, pablum-puking pinheads and their self-serving drivel about being the 99%. It's really getting tedious. Then we have this person (can't quite figure the gender) in Manhattan yesterday. Apparently it's the desire of the "99%" to beat us into submission through the clever use of signage.
Without money we'd all be rich. OK! But how the hell would we pay our bills and for the police to keep you maggots in line?

Then it get's weird. Now this may be simply a lifestyle choice or he's really serious about the government getting further up our ass than they already are.

The New York Post's Andrea Peyser crossed paths with this freakazoid.
Three weeks into the revolution, there is no common theme.Meanwhile, to no surprise, once the union goons showed up Wednesday things started getting violent. At the periphery sit well-heeled thrill-seekers whoÂ’ve traveled from Virginia Beach, Seattle, Ohio and Portland, Ore.
Others come from Mars.
Like the guy who marched with a sign announcing that he was the “Fart Smeller.’’ Say what?
“It’s not a joke,’’ he said, as serious as open-heart surgery, showing me a photograph of his important work. “I go up to women and ask to smell their ...’’
Imagine my surprise.
The NYPD carries batons for a purpose. More of this, please.
Follow me on Twitter or visit here.
(The SCOAMF is still droning on but no one is listening, so I bumped this back up- DrewM.)

Good Lord, the stupid is strong with these people. So very strong.
"Without money we'd all be rich!"
Right! And without money no one would be bothered to protect your sorry ass from being raped, murdered, and chopped up for hamburger, you useless scrunt.
How about this picture, posted at Big Peace, of a couple of gay OWS protesters cuddling on the steps of Manhattan's federal courthouse. I wouldn't care particularly, except that the shorter of the two is holding a sign that says, very sweetly:
"Queer Kids - Why kill yourself when you can KILL YOUR PARENTS?"
Viva la revolucion! Only with more murder, less "viva."

#2 Okay. What do you offer in exchange?
#1 I have an apple orchard. I will give you 13,000 apples in exchange.
#2 But the apples will rot before I can eat them.
#1 You could trade some of them for other things you need.
#2 That seems like a pain in the ass. Do you know how much 13,000 apples weighs? How am I going to cart all those things around? Tell you what, how about you just sit there in the mud without any shelter?

A now former acquaintance has been taken in by this movement. He forwarded Move On dot orgÂ’s push for the protesters. I took exception, called it class warfare and suggested how dangerous and violent a path this was for the country to go down.
He fired back “yes this is class warfare” and more chillingly, asked me how much money I made. As if he’s taking a financial census to determine whose heads shall be placed on pikes.

When I was down at Duke in the 1980s, we had more kids camping out to get tickets to basketball games at Cameron Indoor Stadium than this. And basketball was a winter sport, with the key home games in January and February. If it wasn't Indian summer in Boston and New York, I suspect very few of these college student/grad student know-nothings would be so willing to camp out to protest whatever it is they're protesting. Which leads me to a grander point -- why is that when a few hundred layabouts pick up megaphones and make signs with crayons expressing their idiotic leftism it's news, but when thousands of kids on the same campuses are going to class, or going to internships, or going to work, it's not news?
I've seen this over and over at a Jesuit university in my hometown. Ten losers with a Pro-Life sign on the Quad: that's News! Ten thousand kids going to Mass on Sunday: not News.
By the way, has anybody checked to see if the first guy in the post has an ar15 t-shirt and a Larue Tactical hat?
Won't get fooled again.

When we discussed corporations it was all negative.
The professor mentioned that people only owned stock for the dividend which big nasty corporations would dole out in pennies.
I tried to tell her that the owner of a share of stock in a corporation owns a part of the corporation and that stockholders actually wish the corporation grows in revenue.
I was roundly booed and the professor said I was mistaken.

They all need to be sat down in an auditorium and given a history lesson on the USSR, lines for toilet paper, gulags, just the evil that is communism.
They do this because of some romantic notion that they're protesting "fat cats" when what they are protesting is their own lifestyles and our country's wealth machine -- the free market capitalist system that gives them a prosperous lifestyle.
They embrace socialism and communism because their empty brains have been stuffed with this drivel by their left wing professors. In 20 years most of them will have learned a thing or two and done an about face.

So we are going to take an extended hiatus while we cogitate about what kind of course we should take with S&L.

I'm reminded of an excerpt from Terry Pratchett's The Last Continent, when the God of Evolution was telling the faculty of Unseen University about the difficulty of controlling your followers without the use of smiting...
‘I mean, I tried. God knows I tried, and since that’s me, I know what I’m talking about. “Thou Shalt Lie Down Flat in Thundery Weather,” I said. “Thou Shalt Site the Midden a Long Way from the Well,” I said. I even told them, “Thou Shalt Really Try to Get Along with One Another.” ’
‘Did it work?’
‘I can’t say for sure. Everyone was slaughtered by the followers of the god in the next valley who told them to kill everyone who didn’t believe in him.’
Long story short? "Can't we all just get along?" is for losers.

This looks very similar to the tactics taken some years ago in Europe. Mysteriously, anarchists were bused to various G8 meetings by labor unions.

This 99% crap makes me realize that I know where I can get a 1% patch.
Biker gang, Ace of Spaces, wearing 1% patches. Maybe we can ride through New York.

So Obama's long message-delivery nightmare is at an end: use hippies and union goons! Brilliant! Be sure to remind them to leave room on the signs for the name of the local Dem congressthing or congressthing-wannabee too! Spread the stink love!

Without money we'd all be rich
Actually, without money, your food and personal belongings would be taken by the person with the most readily accessible firearm.
Watching these stupids in action is incredible.

So now all you younger ones are getting a first hand look at what we on the right endured in the 60's. Aren't they just the most pleasant to interact with?
This is the fruit of an older generation, carefully nurtured--on other people's effort.
Given everything, with nothing demanded of them. So y'all have a clear choice here, roll over for them, or get in their collective faces and deny them the chance to implement their agenda. If you stand up and stop them, I' will stand with you--if not, then go die.
Do you remember the Chinese curse? "May you live in interesting times"? Pretty elegant statement.

Should have had a warning-
Prolonged viewing may result in you sucking the liquid out of your flat screen.

So they could send me all of their money and become rich while I could bec ome lazy. Sounds like a win-win.

“This is why we chose to declare our war against the New York Stock Exchange. We can no longer stay silent as the population is being taken advantage of for the sake of profit. We will show the world that we are true to our word. On Oct. 10, NYSE will be erased from the internet. On Oct. 10, expect a day that will never, ever be forgot.”
What a great way to destroy those people living on pensions, and interest/investment income. Only by taking all the retirees and sending them into bankruptcy can we show the elderly that saving for your future and planning for your retirement is wrong and you should starve in the streets.
How dare the middle class have any assets or investments; they should all burn... or something. Anyone think the union pension fund will be untouched if the NYSE folds? I think the plan to use violence to shut down the NYSE might not be well received by those who are retired and living on that as tiehr sole source of income... which would include all union pensioned retirees wouldn't it?
Oh wait, do they think only the rich people own stocks? Wow... they are in fact stupider than I thought they were.
