A Tribute To Breitbart, In His Own Words
— Ace

Down at BlogCon (where I'm not), they just tributed Brietbart.

Neat portrait of him, made up of his quotes.

40 cool, Breitbart encapsulates our struggle as individuals that happen to also be conservative.
He clearly represents the struggle against the Left which is tyring to swallow us and make us all robots for the state.
He helped teach many How to stand tall, and actual suggestion on how to mock those that mean for us to have no opnion other than the opinion They say is correct.
He had the savvy, he had the charisma , he had the ability to draw many of us together in purpose for the individual and each of our liberty.
some of us had forgotten how to fight back.

countrydoc & CoolCzech:   I recognize the validity of your points, but I would likewise remind you that Breitbart    was more than just another conservative stalwart.   In many ways he is among the pioneers of the conservative domination of new media.   It's right and proper for the BlogCon attendees to remember him and pay tribute to his memory, and it     is right and proper for those of us who never knew him but who were inspired by him to likewise keep his memory alive.

AB helped us break the old media shackles.       I don't think this is at all about mourning; it's about celebration.

54 I was talking about maybe we should stop having more Breitbart tribute threads at AoSHQ and move on now.

Eh, Blog Con is sort of "A thing" and the Tribute was as much for Team Breitbart as it was for the man himself.  I don't see a problem with this one.

But I agree it's a thin line to walk.  Also, I get the idea that, if not "friend-friends," Ace and Brietbart were at least friendly.  Which would merit the occasional AB post.

I kind of love that    Pollack went on Soledad O'Brien's     local     cable tv access     show    to talk about the Derrick Bell video        so soon     after AB passed away.   It would have been easy to think, "Shucks, with AB gone will the Bigs still have the same clout?"     That interview right there, right off the starting block, was a big resounding, "HELL YES."

AB would definitely have    been    proud.

Keith Olbermann will sit in on the political roundtable on ABC News' "This Week With George Stephanopoulos" on Sunday.

118 Ive said this before, but the 1-2 punch of Breitbarts passing and Romney taking the nom, left us all aware of our aloneness, like in Enders game when Graff (sp?)  would abandon Ender even when he was in danger.  So that Ender would know he had to deal with things himself, that noone was going to come along and solve it for him.

We may each only be one little flame but together we are going to keep setting thousands and thousands of little fires against the leftist establishment lies and corruption.

209 I would remind the complainers that the death of a leader sometimes serves as a catalyst and an inspiration to fight on.

Examples of leaders whose deaths inspired their followers to push on to victory:

Joan of Arc
William Wallace
Martin Luther King, Jr.

While I am not saying that Andrew Breitbart is as historically important as these 3,  the result of a loss like this often spurs the troops onward in ways that cannot be predicted.

So I think it is good we remember and take what lessons we can from his life and from his dedication to the cause of freedom.

I'm talking baseline. Points can be added or subtracted for looks, etc. But she's an automatic 5. And with Automatic Fives, one must have damn good reasons to subtract points.

She's a strong 5, in other words. Big boobs, big-big, are 5's, like, practically  written in stone 5.

Breitbart, who ran the news aggregation website Breitbart.com, as well as a number of other conservative outlets, including Big Government and Big Journalism, died on March 1 at the age of 43. “No significant trauma was present and no foul play is suspected,” the coroner concluded from the March 2 autopsy. No prescription or illicit drugs were detected, and Breitbart’s blood alcohol level was at .04 percent. Breitbart was reportedly walking from The Brentwood bar in Los Angeles to his nearby home when he died suddenly. The coroner said the final report would be available in two weeks.
