Here's Taranto on how he became "solidified on the right." He was converted due to an incident in which he defended free speech in a college newspaper column... and was suspended by the faculty for having done so.
A Survey of Selected Racial Dog Whistles: Michelle Malkin complies a partial list (who could ever compile a complete one?).
She reaches back for some gems you may have forgotten. Do you remember that "Professor" is a racial code word for "uppity"?

Basically they're the establishment their kind fought in the 1960s, they are the mainstream and they want these damn radical kids fighting the establishment to shut up.

And then they run out to make a movie extolling the virtues of people like them during the McCarthy era. Lacking in self-awareness, they are.

And he never noticed it before the college newpaper situation. I guess some are slow learners, or I should say, slow to recognise through raw observation.
But he did learn. And he was wise enough to start changing his views.

I think his upgrade was to a Barack-o-lounger, according to the last thread.

We're in a war with evil. Not hyperbole and I am not being hyperbolic, I'd wager about 15-25% of our friends across the aisle are evil. There is a wide gulf and we need to be happy warriors to keep the people in that gulf from siding with the foe.
Ideally our battle with the tyrants will not lead to blood shed, and I am not going to humor or pretend to be thrilled at that prospect. Our greatness as a people is based in our theoretically mutual love of freedom. We must be as lighthearted as circumstance allows, but as hard as fate demands in protecting that liberty.
Mankind is not perfectable, and the people who would wield the power needed to even try are not surgeons.
The path we on the right have to march is long, and for some of us the city shining on the hill will not be reached by some of us before our personal tomorrows end.
Duty and compassion say we must still march to help our brothers and sisters march to the hill.

Liberals always project....
So when they accuse the RIGHT of McCarthyism... they don't realize that in their own rhetoric, Consevatism, Libertarianism, and NOT being a MAN MADE Global Warming believer, are the new Communism...

If/When Romney and Ryan win this thing, the number one task on their "To Do" list needs to be repeal ObamaNoCare.
Replace can take awhile, to get it right, but repeal needs to be right away.
Task number two on the list needs to be stopping voter fraud. As per the item here on AoSHQ yesterday (I think), that showed that 60% of presumably black voters in Milwaukee are unaccounted for and unable to be located.
Every big city is stuffed to the gills with phony voters, Chicago is the poster child for "vote early vote often". It needs to stop, I'm sure the toadies who benefit from fraud will cry the "R" word, but it needs to stop while Mitt and Paul are in their honey moon phase.

On...The Five....they are getting ready to give their 'take' on the Clint Eastwood performance.
This should be good.
At least...I hope so.
I would hope that Greg Gutfeld would at least 'get it' that Eastwood was doing a version of the classic comedy shtick....'the rambling old dude with lethal zingers'.
Maybe he is too young to get that, though.

I had always voted for whatever passed for conservatism in the Great White North, but only because they simply seemed the least retarded. I had little to no properly formed political convictions and didn't much care.
But after 9/11, I started paying a great deal more attention. Came across Steyn in the National Post and started to realize just how totalitarian the left could be. Fuck those bitches. They can blow me.

This suports my theory as to the reason Jessie Jackson Jr. suddenly dropped out of sight to be addmitted into a shelter for the terminally nervous. I think he was privy to info FEMA or HHS may have for the future. It was more reality than he could fathom!

Glad to hear it, I spent a little time in Alberta at my grandfather's spread north of Calgary. Keep the nation running right. I am so proud of you guys.
The day may not be far off that to find a free market Americans may run north like your comics and actors have ran south.

Thats the thing with the Reagan Demcrats and the Obama Democrats. Many of the conservatives and classical liberals have left the dems and the ones remaining have lost control to the coastal whites, propped up by the poor browns who are treated identically like the soviets treated the proletariat. Meanwhile everyday I run into another dem who think they are still voting for the blue collar party of FDR.

Thanks sven, stay safe too. I'm really hoping Sir Shanksalot and his AG goon don't incite a race riot before you guys hopefully kick their asses out in November.
I don't have a great deal of personal experience in the area, but from all reports Alberta is our equivalent of Texas. Great for freedom and the free market (I may end up out there one day). Unfortunately here in Ontario we've had a decade of Liberal/Green Kool-aid dumbassery which has created some problems, but we're super fortunate to have Harper federally. I suspect Romney would govern similarly. They're not exactly bastions of charisma, but most certainly competent.

Well, today is the day. He royally fucked Obammy by going to NOLA before the JEF and having the ENTIRE weekend to be the President. Romney's opinion on the situation and what he would/will do to help is going to be on the news... as the only opinion. JEF will have to play catch up.

Libs in the MSM are pushing Romney to "give specifics" on how he would fix things...
Um.....Specifics?
They weren't concerned with...specifics...from Barky, with his 'Hope and Change' bullshit back in 2008.
His whole campaign was nothing more than vague plattitudes.
Romney has given enough 'specifics' already.
The SCoaMT is just seeking ideas that he can steal, and claim as his own.
