And NBC...
— CAC

brings the lulz with their latest registered voter poll, claiming Obama crushes Romney in the swing states 50-42, when blue states are collapsing (he leads Romney nationally 47-44 in the...same poll).

Can't wait for internals.

Poll is D+8, with leaning independents closes a little, 42% D to 38% R. Amongst those saying they voted in 2008, they said Obama over McCain 41% to 30%.

Fun fact- this poll actually pushes Obama's lead down in the national average. Their last one gave him a wider lead.

I cannot wait until NBC switches to likely voters.

The suicide hotline desk at MSNBC will melt, compress and implode into a black hole of suffering if these numbers keep trending downards.

25 Any poll involving NBC deserves to be OTed quickly, so I bring some nice snark from Joel Pollak at Breitbart:

Former White House social secretary Desiree Rogers is nothing more than a vulture capitalist who, as CEO of Johnson Publishing, is laying off hundreds of workers so that she and a clutch of greedy investors can walk away with the profits. Another way of putting it would be that she was brought in to help save a struggling African-American company. But the Obama campaign has taught us a new way to talk about capitalism.

Did the technician who was supposed to come out and check the connections arrive last week?  No.

Do I get customer service reps who are knowledgeable?  No.

And the last time that I called them, they couldn't answer mebecause their computer system was down.

I wish I had my old company back, Insight.  They ran out of Indiana and it was faster and I never had problems. Comcast bought them out.

46 2012 Obama's Theme Song:

"Green Fields"

Once there were green fields,
Kissed by the sun.
Once there were valleys,
Where rivers used to run.
Once there were blue skies,
With white clouds high above.
once they were part of,
An everlasting love.
We were the lovers who,
Strolled through Green Fields.

Green fields are gone now,
Parched by the sun.
Gone from the valleys,
Where rivers used to run.
Gone with the cold wind,
That swept into my heart.
Gone with the lovers,
Who let their dreams depart.

Where are the green fields,
That we used to roam?

I'll never know what,
Made you run away.
How can I keep searching
When dark clouds hide the day..

I only know there's,
Nothing here for me.
Nothing in this wide world,
Left for me to see.

Still I'll keep on waiting,
Until you return.
I'll keep on waiting,
Until the day you learn.
You can't be happy,
While your heart's on the roam,
You can't be happy
Until You bring it home.
Home to the green fields
And me once again.

This isn't about blowjobs, this is about the pollsters having to cook the books, and then cook them some more, and then stick them in the microwave because they still aren't cooked enough, in order to get O some favorable numbers. The purpose of this poll is to make us go "oh noes!!!" and lose moral, (Something AP is all TOO willing to accommodate) and make it look artificially close to try to stave off the preference cascade and and lift moonbat moral. We need to dance on these polls when we get them so that those KOS poll trolls don't have a valid meme to form.

Look for a nice healthy push from the "I'm not an American citizen but I'll be voting anyway" vote. 75 It's a given that MSM polls will always wildly oversample Democrats.  It is part of their MO to get a poll to lead their news cycle.

The scary part is that usually the actual numbers on these polls typically show Dems and Reps evenly split; however, they actually go in after the fact and re-weight the poll to give Dems to 9 point lead.

In other words, they KNOW its bullshit but the DO it anyway.

Obama won by 7 in 2008 and he wins by 11 against McCain in this poll - what a guy!

85 Polls of "registered voters" are not worth a whole lot.   62.4% of registered voters actually voted in the 2008 election.  So, if turnout is the same this time around, that means 38% of the people responding to a "registered voters" poll wind up not voting.  I always pay more attention to "likely voter" polls that also provide the proper balance of Democrats, Republicans, and independents.
