The MFM did an awesome job of being the mouthpiece for the Democrats with all the malfeasance that occurred with this bill. It's up to us to inform everyone we know with the truth about this crap sandwich so people can vote in the right people.

I know repeal is a long shot, but it's the only chance we have.

In all seriousness, though, I really hope that the reason that it has been kept under wraps to this point isn't because he was afraid that it would somehow hurt him or his career. Living under that oppressive yoke would suck. A lot. That's why I've always thought DADT was an asshole of a compromise - live in constant fear that if we ever find out the truth your entire career is over.

Hopefully he wasn't unhappy and trying to live a lie. If so, I hope that this gives him some peace of mind so that he doesn't have to worry about it anymore. If not, then one wonders why he came out officially at all - almost seems like a publicity stunt.
