That last thread was getting a little gamey, so here's a brand new zero content one, featuring Captain Zero himself:

2 You might as well post some porn instead of these open threads with no content or context.

It would be more entertaining.

This place is really getting lame.

7 "City of Deadly Sleep?"

That would be Washington, D.C., ja?

I'm too angry with Bark Obama, Congress and the eunuchs of the media -- including certain "conservative" sites -- to engage in, or enjoy, much snark today.

Show me an impeachment or two, and a whole shitload of arrests of traitors in the government, and we can get all happy again.

8 Never fails, as soon as I post something, a new thread goes up... At some point I think there needs to be a mass cleaning out of the banned lists. Some people (like my work ip) are on it for reasons that have nothing to do with anything that's been said. Clean it out and start over with the idiots who will show themselves quickly enough. Thus have I spaked.

Heh.  Good question. I originally posted this thread yesterday, then I discovered after I published it that I had stepped on another thread by about 30 seconds, so I quickly yanked it back into draft. There were no comments on it that I know of, but here I see the first two, as you notice, bear yesterday's date and time stamp. Weird.

Opened a place up last year, Cheeburger Cheeburger, apparently they're a small franchise. They serve Pepsi, no Coke, and the cheeburgers are pretty damn good, dozens of different cheeses and other toppings. Highly recommended.

25 The hedge fund manager switching isn't a huge surprise. One thing Clinton understood(more or less) is that there is no gravy to skim for your cronies unless you have a fully functioning/blowin' and goin' capitalist economy on your hands. That way people don't mind you taking a bit more of their growing income. They use the votes of stupid/ignorant people(average Democrat voter who aren't gravy sucking cronies) hopped up on Marxist nonsense to give millions to the smart members of the Dim party. Even if your a heavy duty libtard but have two brain cells to rub together, you have to realize that Obama is a marxist who will destroy the country's economy if left at the helm. Romney is your only choice libtard or not.

Comparable to Five Guys? I just  found one close to the house (relatively)  and am looking forward to my first burger from them. Haven't seen a CC down here yet.

Ya  gotta work pretty hard to screw up a cheeseburger. Or french fries for that matter, but it has been done, something that my cholesterol count will  verify.

Of course, we're only talking commercial cheeseburgers. Not to brag (bullshit!) but the best burgers on Earth come from the grill in my backyard. Dale's Steak Seasoning creating the heavenly smoke from real charcoal  that wafts  over, under,  around  and through that glorious red meat.

Damn, now  I'm hungry.

Two things that should NEVER be done to a burger are overcooking, resulting in a hockey puck, and using meat that is too lean.  Good and fatty works well.

I cook on high heat, to seal in the juice--dry beef sucks. A lightly toasted sourdough bun, a slab of onion, mayo (plus whatever else strikes your fancy) and your good to go.

Cheeburger Cheeburger is great, they give you so many options for the burger and shakes. Five Guys also gets my vote, great fries. We have a local one, Zac's, but there's only five locations so only Delco readers might know it.

Backwards Boy, are we invited to your next cookout?

37 For you homemade burger grillers, check out this recipe book by Bobby Flay. "Burgers, Fries, and Shakes" - there is not a bad recipe . One major thing is that Flay is all about the burger being a burger- not a tarted up meatloaf cooked on the grill. Salt, pepper, bam. Then you add the flavors. Here's one recipe that everyone. And I mean everyone loves - Cook the burger Add slice of fresh mozzarella in the last minute. Put on bun.(I like toasted buns) Add one slice of fresh tomato Two fresh basil leaves Drizzle with virgin olive oil. drizzle with basalmic vinegar Top with bun. Take bite, have an orgasm in your mouth. This combination is so-o-o-o-o good. Not kidding about everyone liking it. Even kiddos. Stupidly easy to fix and I'm all about the stupidly easy- but your guests, family will think you're a cooking genius. All the shakes are great- the Peanut Butter/banans/marshmellow fluff shake is the kiddos fave. Fries/onion ring recipes are perfect as well. I can't recommend this cook book highly enough.

I just read the Rubio thread from last nite, Obamapalitano's timing was really bad on that EO move if they knew that Rubio had a book coming out and would be out on the talk circuit. Now he gets to air his views about how Obama shouldn't have done an end run around Congress and is operating outside the law. I'm just getting the feeling that the way the O admin played this thing may just turn more Hispanics to Rubio or the GOP.(not more than Obama will get, but more than were initially inclined). It's true many here do not like Rubio, but I believe he is an effective communicator to a group that may be on the edge of voting Republican, but never had "cover" to do so.

So that's it for serious stuff today. Now that I'm armed with superior burger knowledge, I have to go put it to use. Good day all!

And the author is/was probably a woman not just because of the hyphenated name but because of the use of initials. Guys didn't/don't like to think that their crime adventure or sci-fi novella was written by a dame.
