Bloomberg Buckles To Outrage and Cancels Marathon
— Ace

"We would not want a cloud to hang over the race or its participants, and so we have decided to cancel it."

And also, I'm sure you're also very concerned about getting your people shelter and warmth, right?

Right.

Been said many times, but one more time for the eeyores. There is no way in hell that bambi can win again. No. Way. I know I live in a red state, but it is almost impossible to find the voter willing to state they are voting bambi ...and I know some of them were part of the fooled last time. My pulled from thin air says that at least 1% that voted for him to "be a part of history" won't be doing it again, at least 1% that voted for him won't because the economy still sucks, and at least 1% o that voted for him because McCain sucked so bad won't. Romney wins Tuesday, and it would be an epic blow out if it were not for those that will still vote for the chocolate jesus simply based upon his skin color.

Ace, if Romney wins and R takes control of the Senate --- you are going on a much deserved vacation brother.

But let's continue to focus because the devilish shenanigans being prepared by the progressives is going to place this nation in a position heretofore never before imagined could occur.  The election results are going to be jammed up and the left's already unhinged vocalizations against Romeny and its dehumanization of Republicans will be meleded into a diabolical harmony with the UN who will work in tandem with the progressives to deligitmize the electorate.

This is going to get real ugly.  The foundation of which MSNBC, Media Matters, Center for American Progress, et al. have poured.

Pray for this country my friends.

This year's Boston Marathon was so hot, race officials offered people guaranteed entry into next year's race.  You still have to pay the race fee.  You basically ate the cost of this year's registration plus airfare and possibly hotel (depending on hotel cancellation policy).  I would assume they make a similar offer to this year's runners.  The Boston Marathon offer was made days earlier than the cancellation of the NYC marathon.
