In her September testimonyto a Senate committee, Napolitano told senators she knew nothing about Fast & Furious until after Terry was killed in a gunfight on the night of Dec. 14, 2010 with an AK-47 purchased at one of the gun stores that was one of the key retailers where federal agents actively let guns walk.
In October, she told Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) at a hearing at the Senate Judiciary Committee she never spoke to the Dennis Burke about Fast & Furious....
In the same month, the Napolitano told Rep. Jason E. Chaffetz (R-Utah) at a hearing held by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform that she never spoke to Holder about Fast & Furious.
...
One source said to the author, “When she says that [she] and Attorney General Eric Holder have not discussed it, that is a lie. That's why they keep asking her those questions in the Judicial, Oversight, Homeland Security Committee hearings. They've asked her that same questions twice and she’s lied twice.”
The emails mentioned here, however, just note that she talked to Holder about Terry's death -- not necessarily about Fast and Furious. I imagine there's more to to this, though.

From the article:
Another source from the ATF confirmed to Pavlich that Napolitano was briefed regularly by an agent from another of her agencies, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE.
“There was an ICE agent assigned specifically to be the co-case agent of Fast & Furious. He had to [file] an ICE report that either mirrored or referenced every ATF report that was done,” the ATF source said.
So what this tells me is that Napolitano knew, OR she was grossly incompetent in carrying out her duties by not reading these reports. Either way, just like Holder, she's unfit for office.

The quote said she was "briefed" - that - in government lingo - means someone held a power point session where the subject was covered. There is no Sgt Schultz defense possible when a briefing has taken place; there were other people there - they saw what happened, and that you weren't asleep. That is why assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer is in so much trouble; he was briefed on Fast and Furious and gun walking before agent Terry died - in fact he said in an email to ATF director Melson that the thought gun walking was a "terrific idea".

No Paper or Plastic: Los Angeles Bids Bags Goodbye
Influenced by out-of-touch environmentalists, the Los Angeles City Council committee moved forward last week with plans to phase out and ultimately ban paper and plastic bags in Los Angeles.
Environmentalists would like similar legislation to pass across the nation, completely oblivious to the fact that such legislation would not only inconvenience many consumers and shoppers but kill jobs. In Los Angeles alone, 2,000 people are employed by companies that make bags, and if bags are banned, these workers would be out of jobs and the health insurance benefits that accompany them.
...
Environmentalists believe that legislation that bans paper and plastic bags will force people to use reusable bags; however, as The Washington Post discovered after the nationÂ’s capital instituted a fee for paper and plastic bags, reusable bags are often breeding grounds for bacteria that can be harmful to peopleÂ’s health...

@118...The whole "Paper vs Plastic" thing serves as an example of liberal bullshit and hypocrisy.
The whole idea of plastic bags was pushed on us because they were supposed to "save the environment"....and "save trees". ....But trees are a renewable resource. And plastic is made from petroleum.
Paper bags rot and decay rather quickly. ....Plastic bags hang around for centuries. When the wind sucks them out of dumpsters and hangs them on trees, those damn things are there until someone gets a cherry picker to reach them.

Don't know about a union, but this is what the CEO of one of the bigger bag-making corporations had to say on the subject to Hannity (taken from the same Big Government link):
--------------
Stan Bikulege, CEO of bag producer Hilex, appeared this week on Hannity to offer an update on the pending LA ban and similar bans that are being proposed throughout the country:
BIKULEGE: We have 1250 jobs here in the United States-10 plants. And we spend all of our time focused on working against the government who is trying to ban us out of existence.
HANNITY: So you have to spend all this money to protect those jobs that you have, just to stay in business?
BIKULEGE: Oh, absolutely. We've spent so much money. We could have built more recycling plants, which we actually take garbage, turn it back into plastics and put it back into products. We could be rebuilding those and creating jobs. Instead, we're spending our time fighting against legislation that's going to take American jobs out of this country."

So Napolitano may have perjured herself?
In Obama's cabinet this gets you a medal from the GSA.
It shows you've at least got the brainpower to realize you're a crook.
Unlike, say, Steve Chu or Ken Salazar.
Steve Chu has a narrow band of expertise in which he's a frickin' genius and one nanometer either side of that he's a babbling fool.

Still don't understand how she got elected Governor of AZ. She won't get dinged for perjury, even if it can be proven that she lied.
Might as well forget about it. All the unconstitutional things done by this administration will just float by...
