Via Hot Air, who suggests this might be a preview of attacks on Obama's "You didn't build that" (and the defenses). And he got it from the Scourge of Elizabeth Warren, Legal Insurrection, which is doing a live blog.

Elizabeth Warren just asserted she gained no advantage by claiming she was the First Woman of Color professor in Ivy League schools. Brown challenged her to release her application materials, so we could see if she checked the box that said "Minority." Warren refused.

They forget. We industrialized the country prior to the rise of public education. We tamed the west before their were roads. Someone sees an opportunity, builds an enterprise, and the infrastructure to support it. Communities form around it, then government forms, then the government adds infrastructure and services long long after private business made the community viable.

The whole of public infrastructure was made possible by private investment in unrealized opportunities in unsettled areas.

However, my father had their debut album on vinyl, which he apparently listed to a lot while in college, and he would throw it on the turntable once in awhile in the late '70s and early '80s. I did not watch the debate nor have I read all of the commnets.

But here is what I would say if ever challenged on keeping the tax cuts for all:

1. I did not vote to reinstitute the Clinton tax raises.

2. Why are you (the opponent) so fixated on these tax raises?

3. Suppose we did institute a tax raise on the rich. How much would that help our deficit? It would only allow the govt to remain in business 8 more days of the year. We are already short 140 days of the year. this will not make a dent. the problem is on the spending side of the equation. Your proposal is only to demonize people.

"Demonize" and "fixated" are 2 winning words in my opinion.
