What I hope come out about foreign policy is that the Egyptians set up that demonstration by finding an offensive video and playing it on TV shortly before 9/11. I'm not sure on all the facts, but I suspect that it was the Muslim Brotherhood, who runs that govt, who put the vid on TV, organized the demonstration, and neglected to provide security - all three. Basically, it was a planned attack, with the vid and the mob used as weapons.
These are the guys about whom Obama said he was "relieved" they won their election, and the country to whom we send boatloads of money.
Let's not forget that attacking an embassy isn't just some slight, it's an act of war, and a crime against civilization (which is to say, it's the work of savages).

It is horrible on so many levels. He opposed our troops, he lied about the exemption, he voted no, and he used it to drive racial anger in the black community.

On a side note, have you noticed a new euphemism for socialism being used by Obama? It used to just be "social justice". Now he like to say "working together" (bringing up Lincoln and the Trans-Continental Railroad, et al.)

Oh, yeah - it's huge. When it's just you, the POTUS, and a moderator in the room, and you're in charge - that's really, really HUGE.
I was especially struck by when Obama pleaded to his ally - the moderator - for help (changing the subject). It's really an embarrassment for the country to see our President act like that.
Let's also note that all the odd behaviors being observed are ALL classic NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) behaviors. If the psychology field wasn't so dominated by commies, they would use him as a case study in every textbook - it's really quite remarkable.
The point about our next FLOTUS is well taken, as well. Imagine another "stay at home mom" who could give the kind of speeches, and make the kind of appearances she has. She's extraordinarily capable, a generally wonderful woman, and (yeah) remarkable good-looking as well. She would be the most outstanding FLOTUS in a long time (decades? centuries? EVER?). The contrast vs. Mrs. "First time proud" is outrageous.

There were a couple of minor things that Mitt said that bothered me a little. One was saying he loves green energy. Hopefully, at least he doesn't "love" it enough to want to borrow from China to fund it.
Another thing I thought was odd was his connecting "pursuit of happiness" with charity. Well, the relevant philosophical concept of happiness could include charity (by way of improving one's environment) in a secondary way, but it's primarily an endorsement of capitalism.

@144
Yeah, I heard some mention of Romney having had a few bad weeks - even from people sympathetic to the Right, but what the hell are they talking about?
The only rough spot I recall was a tape from MONTHS ago coming out - Romney's "bitter clinger" moment, where he made a careless overgeneralization (criticizing parasite, vs. Obama's criticism of people exercizing their Constitutional rights). That wasn't something his campaign did within the last few weeks.
If anything, he called out the Obama administration on the situation in Egypt, the media labelled it a gaffe (huh?), and buried anything else he said. Obama has been extremely busy with cover-ups for the last several weeks, and ROMNEY has had a rough patch? Huh? Do these guys actually BUY their leftist colleagues' lies?
Sometimes I hear that he is speaking to huge crowds - no thanks to the media, which is busy trying to aid in the cover-ups.
Seems like there were people on the Right criticizing his campaign all along - while his challengers weren't even competant enough to get on the primary ballot in several important states. I've actually noted a decided LACK of things to have to apologize for - the only one that comes to mind is RomneyCare, but it doesn't seem like he gets much flak for that, and he seems to have addressed that effectively last night.
On a side note, I haven't heard whether any of Romney's sons (or grandchildren) have even expressed an interest in politics, but they would certainly have a leg-up, if they were so inclined.
Oh, and contrast Ann Romney with even Hillary! Hillary, like Bill, is an enigma for her enduring popularity despite their widely publicized and embarrasing scandals. What other First Lady has had her own major scandals!?! - And being First Lady is her claim to fame!
