I like it. But what about the leather biker cap Marlon Brando wore in The Wild Ones?
But what if your cat is attending a more formal soiree? You could go this way:

More stylish looks for cats here.
As silly as this is: This is America. I'm actually proud that someone got it in his head to be a feline haberdasher, and did it, and is selling his cat chapeaus.
Between a country where someone has a goofy idea like this and turns it into a small amount of money (which really just represents time which can be spent on other uses), and one that doesn't, I like the country that has cat hats.
Thanks to JimS.

Yes, it speaks well of America.
Doesn't say much for the cat owners, however.

They want $68 (!) for the herringbone hat. Only hard-core nuts are going to spend that much on a cat hat. This would have been a good business idea if they had priced them at say $10, where people would buy them as an impulse gag item.

Difference between cats and dogs:
Human feeds, shelters, takes dog for walks. The dog looks at the human and worships him as a god.
Human feeds, shelters, takes care of cat. Cat thinks, "I must be a god".

The big deal today in my neck of the woods is the KU/MU game. It's the very last of the Border Wars, as MU is moving to the SEC. Word on the street is that tickets are going for around $600. KU students were camping out at Allen Field House as early as Thurs. morning.
Not only has the game a hell of a lot riding on it, as far as the Big 12 Championship and NCAA placement for March Madness, but it ends an era that literally dates back before the Civil War. Ft. Sumter may have been the official start of the war, but the boys in these parts had been practicing for about 4yrs prior.
And, to top it off, KU is where BB first started...
Game starts at the top of the hour.

We have foster three generations of kittens from a feral cat in our neighborhood. Found homes for some, and wound up with the rest. I wish the person who feeds her would trap her so we could get the mama cat fixed. There are territorial disputes, but canned kitty food or tuna works wonders on getting them close to another and not hissing.

The alpha cat in our household is female and she keeps a tight rein on everyone. My kids know to play with her at her sufferance and on her terms. The females all seem to be picking on one male cat for reasons we cannot fathom. He essentially resides in the kids room and the bathroom sink with quiet slinks to get food. Of course he is like 22 pounds of orange fluff (he is a really sweet cat - the kids could be waterboarding him and he would just take it).

The council will also weigh suspending some payments on long-term debt of about $702 million, according to a 2010 financial statement.

And there aren't any oysters in the Rocky Mountains.

Newt's been on a tear recently. Good Newt would be the best and most formidable candidate. It's such a shame that Bad Newt is always lurking in the shadows, waiting to pop out at the dumbest times. A real shame.

Just saw a blue shirt on TV that said MUCK Fizzou. Had to laugh.

You like the country that has cat hats --- are even proud of it --- and add some faux sophistication about money representing time, but you think it's the Japanese who are weird for drawing pictures of people farting?
Keep the comedy coming.
