— rdbrewer Carney was revising Obama's Supreme Court remarks again, denying that Obama's use of "unprecedented" was a misstatement. Plante had enough of it. From The Blaze:
What he said on Monday was an obvious misspoken moment, because he talked about the court not being in the position to overturn acts of Congress. You‘re standing up there twisting yourself in knots because he made a mistake, and you can’t admit it.
The funny thing was, Carney responded by trying to exert social pressure: "YouÂ’re sharing in the righteous indignation here of your colleague." (Referring to Ed Henry from Fox News.)

The CBS newsroom culture may be a little less dedicated to the MFM narrative than the crack hos at NBC and ABC. Last weekend when the CBS radio news feed reported the "Justice for Trayvon" rallies in Sanford, they would also mention bits about Zimmerman being injured as reported by a witness. They at least made an attempt to report the other side of the story.
Maybe the journos there don't feel as petrified of being canned if they stray off the libzie reservation from time to time.

What happened to the presumption that Congress actually understands its own acts before they are passed? Given that there is a demonstrated change in that landscape due to their own lack of diligence, it seems very obvious that there is no longer a "strong" reason to presume anything regarding the constitutionality of these acts.

Obama didn't "make a mistake." He tried to intimidate the court and lost his nerve when they didn't back down from his annointed self. The mistake was one of self-appraisement, not a slip of the tongue, which is what this reporters metaphorically do to Obama's nethers.
Of course, Carney is apparently too dumb to realize this.
