— Ace Kind of neat.
I like the hero's introduction -- he's 1, he's the best there is, but 2, he's a loose cannon.
They really say that.
Some writer really s t r e t c h e d his craft right there.

Kinda seems that way. Similar story line, but in space. ....Good special effects though, looks like.

Consider how much reality needs to be suspended for this to work.
Using space shuttles to transport criminals to space. Like our legal system isn't busted enough already. Just shoot the mother rapers and father rapers.

That would be neat if it was real and we could send every progressive/collectivist/marxist democrat who has ever run for elected office and every voter who has ever cast a vote for said candidates there to rot until, well, until they are done rotting. I'll wait till it shows up on netflix to see it I think.

Somebody needs to write a screenplay for Nick Cage to play something like 24 characters.
Nicholas Cage is Nicholas Cage in "Steel Cage"
He's the best there is.
And he's a loose cannon.
And he's his own partner.
Who is one day from retirement.

From the sidebar, Spain throws in towel on Green energy. That is good enough to be a feature. It's the best thing that can happen to green energy. It either is financially viable or it isn't. I wish we would do the same here. Make those industries make themselves viable or get rid of them. Good for Spain.

Well, that ad sure looked 'interesting'.
Hell, the best sci-fi I've seen recently is "Pioneer One". And it's a download on the 'net.
Essentially, an object from space crashes near the US/Canadian border. Because of reports of radioactivity, Homeland Security gets involved as the Canadians rush to find out what exactly came down.
Turns out to be a capsule. With a Russian on board, wearing an old style USSR space suit. He's in really bad physical shape, but has a note on him.
Seems he's come from Mars...
So it's just 6 half hour episodes, but very, very good.
Ya'll might want to check it out.

Thinking on it a bit... You would NOT want guns with any type real velocity on a space station... and with all the Metal Around? even Tasers would be a problem as they'd short out electronics (and Tasers have to contact flesh to do any good, they don't penetrate any type of body armor..)
So... It would be Hand to Hand... and SWORDS in Space!!
Yep... Space Pirates! and Space Ninjas!!! (but of course, Pirates win because they are wayyyy Kewler...)...

One of the best films made? Infamous (2006), about how Truman Capote charmed the hardassed, conservative Kansas cops investigating the Clutter murders, when Capote was writing In Cold Blood.
Incredible film, with about a $50 budget. A million times better than Capote, with Philip Seymour Hoffman, mostly because Infamous had a sense of humor and showed how a tiny gay man born in 1924 in Louisiana could be tough as nails but also hilariously funny, qualities that help anyone get through life.
And it had bright colors, not this dark-blue, high-contrast look that every fucking big-studio release has now.
