I went on a rant here, abut 2 or 3 years ago, about a bullshit report here in Jax.
A small prop plan had landed on the 6 lane highway just the other side of the airport fence. It landed safely. Nobody was hurt. No cars were damaged.
They reported it as "BREAKING NEWS!" for the next 3 hours, long after the plane had been removed from he scene.
It was so preposterous... and the drama! Holy cow!
You would have thought the plane did a dive-bomb straight on to a daycare van.

I once saw a smallish female police officer (in Falls Church city, VA) wrangling with a ~300 lb drunk Somoan-looking guy in the middle of the afternoon in a store parking lot on Rt. 7. I stopped my car and got out and asked if she needed help; she said no and while I watched and wondered whether to intervene anyways she somehow got him cuffed. I don't know what I would have done. I guess I could have driven my heel into the side of his knee.
So that's the difference between me circa 1997 and a gay guy in Wisconsin in 2012. I stopped and offered help while he filmed giggling from his car.

As best as I can tell the same as flying over private property in general i.e. land owners must share their airspace with any aviation traffic so long as it's at a reasonable, safe altitude. And anything publicly viewable is well, public.
So in theory I could have a spy drone hovering over someone's house 24/7 and there's nothing they could do about it legally.

Yeah but I believe even anti-stalking laws only require you to keep a certain distance away and avoid contact. So at the moment a drone 200 meters above someone's house would probably fall into the creepy but legal area.

Actually, I don't recognize this clown/activist. He's not the only one around here. About a year ago there was a heated discussion because one of the morons kept defending the sexualization of girls in movies because they're all sluts in real life.
It was an incredibly disturbing thread and I eventually had to bail.

Cops spend a lot of their time dealing with really awful or disgusting people, and often can't do anything about it. I have a brother who is a policeman in a fairly dangerous city (and a soldier, currently in Afghanistan, MUMR), and some of the stories he tells are pretty grim. He went into the force as an idealist and has found it pretty discouraging, I think.
He is also very conservative, BTW, and gets really ticked at the notion that there are different standards applied to cops and judges on one hand and regular citizens on the other when someone applies for a gun permit, IIRC. Big fan of private gun ownership, too...

Basically you watch the video make up your own mind as to what happened.
Its not like anyone advocated police brutality. There is an genuine issue as to who started the fisticuffs. Obviously the guy in the clown suit started the incident, but why it turned physical is a matter of interpretation. I think the clown was spoiling for a fight, but that's my opinion not a fact.
Basically, you should not call people names for disagreeing with you. Even if you are an ass. If you must, at least attempt to be funny about it. If you can't pull that off, move on. You aren't winning by coming off as nasty.

All groups have that problem. It isn't limited to cops. All professions, most ethnic groups, most religions, the majority of people of a political persuasion--the list is endless.
The number of genuinely individual humans is miniscule because true individuality inevitably leads to being alone in fundamental ways. Most people need to be in a group. Their first instinct is to protect that group, because the group offers safety and a sense of belonging.
All groups have an "us versus them" mentality.
