To fill things out:
Barky was born a muslim to a muslim father. His stepfather was muslim. Barky grew up in post-coup Indonesia, the largest muslim nation on Earth, going to school registered as a muslim, for all of his formative years - all of elementary school. He was given all muslim names to mark his islamitude. He went to mosque and learned the koran (as much as a retard like Barky could learn anything). He liked to say that the call to prayer was "one of the most beautiful sounds on Earth at sunset", said that he would stand with muslims (no shit, sherlock) and has gone out of his way to pander to the islamic world and fuck over every traditional American ally (except for back-stabbing France - Barky finds common ground with them).
And, in the end, Barky winded up at a crypto-christian insane asylum that shared more with islam than christianity (Trinity loved them some Q'Daffy) and was nothing but a collection of lunatics and assholes who get together to share their hate of America.
The fact that anyone tries to say that Barky wasn't a muslim is beyond laughable. And the sad part is that Fox News has gone out of their way to slap down the FACT that Barky was born and raised a muslim, which is one of the many reasons I stopped watching Fox over a year ago.

I don't know that they're stupid so much as ignorant and insulated from any actual knowledge. Okay- some of them are stupid.
But, to them, "Socialist" mean "fair." It means "sharing" and "an end to poverty." Some of them (the Sean Penn set, for example, or Alec Baldwin types) I loathe. But the ones like McPherson (who, really, is probably just ignorant) I pity more than hate.
Then, of course, I remember the base bigotry that is inherent in all rich socialists: the "little people" aren't capable of "rising above their station." The only way "the little people" can succeed is if any chance of failure is removed and the government takes care of them.

I finally had to admit, "Michelle, I just don't know - I don't know what's going on in this country anymore..."
When I finished her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes began to fill with tears, "Barry" she said, "why are the Republicans doing this to the country?" Well, that was it for me: I finally fell apart. I just fell into her arms and we both began sobbing for several minutes.
She had to comfort me and get me back on my feet. Sometimes I just think itÂ’s too much, but seeing the strength in Michelle's voice helped me to get through.
