— Ace When I first looked at Drudge, he seemed to have more states in the Obama column.
Now, the only state that isn't a longshot he has going for Obama is New Hampshire. The others are MI, PA, and and NV. All of these are in the "longshot" category. Only New Hampshire was considered a good shot for Romney.
Now in the Toss ups it's the states we already knew would be tough: OH, VA, CO, IA.
If the exit polls say "toss up" there, you know what I'm thinking? President Romney.

Drudge did shift Ohio which he origionally had going Obama's way.
Considering all the underhand push by the media and polling mavens for Obama then anything split is going for Romney.

Went over to Drudge and the red-font top headline said "Exit poll boom for O".
A few seconds later, the page refreshed and the red font headline changed to "Exit polls tight".
It's been said a million times today, on here and at other sites -we won't really know what's going on until the actual counts start being reported. Sit tight, keep calm, and if you haven't voted yet, no matter where you are, get out and get it done.

I am very upset and if I don't get to vote I will be calling ALL the radio stations" Well.....they acted like "oh don't worry about it we'll fix it happens all the time" WTF!!!!! 10 minutes later I could cast my vote....They said "it was prob because the person above or under my name was deceased" I made them make me look at the computer screen!! and guess what? no one was deceased!!

All three had very heavy turnout. It took me 45 minutes to vote at mine at 1030. The one I opened was averaging 1 hr 45 min during the morning rush due to machines acting up; turns out they were plugged into a circuit without juice and were running on batteries and started to fail. Once that snafu was cleared up thanks to an extension cord and a different ouotlet, voting turned into a 40-60 minute affair.
The poll I worked at the longest was for a fairly deep "blue" precinct with lots of 2008 Obama voters. Voting times were consistently in the 2+ hour range all day, and most voters toughed it out. But when the the post-workday rush kicked in around 1600, I noticed that many of the Dem voters were bailing from the poll. It was like it had a revolving door. Quite a few came out and asked Obama's folks "is there some other place I can vote? I don't have time for this."
Many weren't willing or able to stick with a 2+ hour wait and gave up.
What surprised me the most about this precinct was the sheer numbers of African Americans and immigrants that willingly took Republican sample ballots out of my hands - nothing at all like 2008 where voters swore at me and told me to eff-off.
I know this is all anecdotal flotsam, but I have a strong sense Virginia is going to break for Mitt, and perhaps strong.
Stay turgid, Morons.
